3 pointsYes, i t is possible, I made some BRDM for inspecting terrain looong ago, not sure if I still have this...but with some tinkering it is possible, although, with current game engine limitations, it is pointless. Rumor says it will be fixed in SF5

2 pointsA quick update. I don't have a saved game folder and I figured that is because I haven't started playing yet. I've installed and deleted the game so many times that I didn't realize that I only played a quick mission every time, so I'll start again and report. I have to tell you that I did calibrate the joystick in Windows, and all buttons respond to input. I do have another sim that I started to play again. European Air War (this dates me!) and \I don't have controler issues. And yes, my computer runs win7 32 bit Hebrew verssion with english support, and in spite of the fact that I speak Hebrew fluently I still have some problems reading it, specially technical stuff because they translated everything and it is difficult sometimes to understand what a menu stans for...Oh well, we manage. And that is all for now. Shabbath is coming and I'll shut down till saturday evening.. Thank you for your help. ponssebastian

1 pointthat's not the mod folder, that's the CORE install. Look under your saved games folder. Note the pathway in my image I posted above. (on a side note, interesting to see the panes shifted to the right. never seen a comp in Hebrew before; which I can't even read anymore!)

1 pointtrue, although one would assume that if they are trying to shoot and drop bombs that they can get off the ground then again, i stole the line from under seige 2: "never assume. assumption is the mother of all #^(% ups"

1 pointit hard to believe no one tried to make an Enhanced Electronic Location System AI for a more accurate, responsive gunner i mean you could even have multiple on something that acts more like an aircraft, like say a hovercraft. . . . . . . yup. thats where my mind went with this....

1 pointWith engine limitations, two things are quite possible: - a playable SAM battery - a playable unarmed ground vehicle In the first case you will sit in one place, use radar to lock targets and shoot missiles at them. In the second case, you will be able to drive around and that's it Not much possibilities otherwise RE: oh, you could also make a SPAAA like Shilka or Avenger, but you will be only the driver with gunnery done by AI

1 pointFinally got caught up over weekend after long travels on this. Added in some details including the industrial fans, propane welding tank racks, and just had to get some ground crew in there...I have to fix a few scaling issues here and there, but for the most part she's on the home stretch. This is one big hangar indeed. Any other suggestions or comments, let me know - thanks.

1 pointThank you for that input, Gepard, good stuff coming from someone who was there! With the permission of the admins for the pics, they can be removed later, I got the M bort records from http://www.forgottenjets.warbirdsresourcegroup.org/ and based on it, I saw some pictures showing the gun blast panels and rearview mirror base (hmm, odd), perhaps they were retrofitted after some overhauls? What I can do, of course, is to make early/late versions to cover those plane timelines maybe?

1 pointFor dog's sake could you please stop quoting posts with all those screenshots? Yes, awesome pits, but we do not want to scroll through the same screenshots again and again. Little common sense.

1 pointThe Frag Order said to bomb a Kimchi Shack. I'm SURE it was a front for a cabbage-based Nuclear Weapons Facility, so I took the mission. Besides, it was a slow day on the water............ About to splatter fermented secret sauce over the Korean countryside. Now lets go find a use for these Walleyes......
