    F-CK-1 Ching-kuo (IDF) Multirole Fighter Jet by UllyB November the 21th 2023/ver 1.0.1 **************************************** The Taiwanese Ching-Kuo Fighter is developed and manufactured by the Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation based in Taichung. The aircraft is also referred to as the Indigenous Defence Fighter (IDF). The Ching-Kuo is an all-weather, multi-role fighter and is built in one-seater and two-seater configurations. Ching-Kuo fighter programme The programme to develop the aircraft, known as the An Hsiang or Safe Flight programme, started in 1982 with identification of the requirements for an air-superiority fighter. The rollout ceremony of the first prototype took place in December 1988, when the aircraft was named after the late President Chiang Ching-Kuo. The Ching-Kuo made its first flight in May 1989. Ching-Kuo air superiority fighters are operational in the RoC Air Force of Taiwan (Republic of China) since January 2000 and the last of a total of 130 entered service in July 2000. AIDC has developed an upgrade package which includes a digital cockpit, upgraded radar and countermeasures. BAE Systems supplied the new 32-bit digital flight control computer. Two F-CK-1 prototypes were upgraded to F-CK-1 C/D in 2006. The upgraded C/D aircraft made its first flight in October 2006. It was renamed as F-CK-1 C/D Hsiung Ying (Brave Hawk) in 2007. Other improvements in the upgrade package included increased internal fuel capacity, improved avionics, renovated electronic warfare capabilities and strengthened landing gear. Production of the C/D version began in 2009 as part of the $588m Mid Life Upgrade (MLU) programme. AIDC will upgrade the initial 71 of 130 IDFs under the MLU programme. The first batch of six upgraded F-CK-1 C/D IDFs were delivered to the ROCAF in June 2011. I decided to let community vote what type of plane would wish to be built as a sign of appreciation and respect for it. This project had a bumpy start. He and his team offered to take over the project but they had to postponed it before because of their current projects at that time. I used my LAU-7 instead of that old one. now it has the correct proportions to AIM-9, I made a new launcher for AGM-12 and AGM-45 - Aero5A now weapons are properly attached to the launcher... added some small bits in the model and fixed some mapping issues, Additional credits: I have added all weapons that are stated in loadout.ini. all weapons are made by Ravenclaw Zuni rockets for launchers except two refueling pods made by nyghtfall from his A-4 pack. SKins represent pre-Vietnam War squadrons. First user VA-42 they were first in Intruder and was taking care of conversion and training for the US Navy. The second skin is for VA-75 short deployment, first for USS Independence and first for VA-75 on Intruder. Later in 1965, they deployed to Vietnam. These aircraft are aimed at the folks that actually like to fly missions, So going by that line of action all markings and serial numbers are painted on, this has the added bonus of gaining me a couple of extra fps and also means that I can export the lod WITHOUT the decals option, this definitely gains some more precious fps. This model is a combination of the old (Crab_02 RF-8G) and TMF RF-8A max files which I was working on from the very outset. The RF-8A never got released because of Oli's sudden death. I've combined what I think are the best parts of both to come up with the models here, they may not be perfect or "historically correct" in every way as they are a constant wip. This model is a is yet another rebuild of the old TMF max files which I was working on from the very outset. . It is is no way designed to compete or to relpace the versions released by daddyairplanes, so dont try to use those skins on this model....the maps are different. The RF4-C nose has had a complete rebuild since the DA version as the nose profile is completly wrong along with more accurate air conditioner intakes and camera windows etc, etc The fuselage also got rebuilt to cure many shape issues and to give a more accurate undersides. Too many small fixes to list DO NOT INSTALL OVER ANY RF-4C-65 MODELS YOU MAY ALREADY HAVE..................re name this one! Please read the readme....it's for your benefit not mine.

    SF2 F3D-2/EF-10B Skyknight by Coyote Aerospace 1/1/2024 -For SF2, Any and All (Full 4/5 Merged Recommended) This is the release of AngelP's F3D-2/EF-10 "Skyknight". It's being released as a "provisional Beta", due to the LOD needing more work. But rest assured, it's been 'tested to destruction', and other than needing a few more seperated meshes, is fully functional. The aircraft has been split into two differing birds, one the night/all weather fighter for the 1950s (F3D-2) and the Vietnam War era stand-off/escort jammer (EF-10B). Due to the need for certain types of electronics (avionics), 2 different cockpits have been used. The aircraft(s) include the following skin sets: F3D-2: VC-3 (USN) in standard overall Dark Gloss Navy Blue VMF(N)-513 - VMF(N)-531 - both in overall Night Black, USMC night fighters during the Korean War EF-10B: VMCJ-1 in standard Gull Grey/White Most marking are decals; excepting a few squadron flashes. Decal randomization is TRUE. As expected, as many Modex numbers as possible have been matched to their BuNums. These are marked with the star (*). Those unmarked could not be matched, or are just 'generic' in nature. Included are pilot figures, drop tanks (ini only) and the EF-10 gets external jammer and chaff pods. This aircraft is NOT carrier qualfied, although the wings fold with the Standard Animation Keystroke (tm), Shift/9, and the canopy hatch with Shift/0. When in-game, on the Aircraft Selection dropdown you'll see for each: F3D-2 Skyknight (CAF) EF-10B Skyknight (CAF) these will differentiate ours from any others you might (or most likely DON'T) have. As is always reccommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions.     The Strikemaster is essentially an armed version of the Jet Provost T Mk 5. Various improvements and alterations were made to the aircraft, including an uprated Armstrong Siddeley Viper turbojet engine, wing hardpoints capable of carrying a wide variety of munitions, a pair of machine guns under the intakes, uprated flap system with two jacks, enlarged airbrake jacks, new communication and navigation gear, different electrical system, canopy breakers on the ejection seats, and a revised fuel system including tip tanks on the wing tips. First flown in 1967, the aircraft was typically marketed as a light attack or counter-insurgency aircraft, however, the majority of customers were air forces seeking an advanced trainer. The Strikemaster did see combat on multiple occasions in the service of Ecuador, Oman and Yemen. A total of 146 aircraft were produced prior to the end of production in 1983. The type remaining flying into the 2020s, albeit with increasing difficulty due to a decreasing supply of spare parts over time. Best models with serials, numbers and letters painted on textures for me are a real waste. All planes (as black cats at night ...) are the same ... So our friend Pete allowed me to make decals (I have a real decals factory yet ...) for his great skins and this is the final product. I think that outstanding Russo's plane really needed this work to shine. I hope you like this pack, as I liked to buid this up. If Pete will skin Mk84, Mk89 and Mk90 (with his own super templates) too I'll be glad to add them. If someone'll tweak a better flight model I'll add too. Any improve'll be welcome. This is just a small part of a whole lot of Terrain Objects I've made over the last few years, they are all created and painted by myself either using the original max files or started from scratch. Please read the read me...................it's for your benefit. During installation if you get asked to overwrite something STOP !! Cancel the installation and rename the files causing the conflict. My work is no better than anybody else's so I'm dead against replacing other folks hard work. Having a choice is nice. Have fun.

    Phinal Photos: RF-4C in USAF Service After Desert Storm A TMF Rebuilt project This mod represents the phinal years of the Photo Phantom n USAF service. It includes a new RF-4C_91 model that features Sidewinder missile capability. While only a couple dozen RF-4Cs were wired for AIM-9 carriage, they served in the Alabama and Nevada Air National Guards while they did. Many of their models are still heavily in use today, 15 years later and still amongst the very best. This despite the team not creating any new mods since the passing of Oliver Anguille in 2009. But time does move on, and the next generation of modders have ideas, techniques and tools not available back then. With the help of some of the original modellers (who have copies of the original max files) we can update these fine aircraft for the 2020s. Rebuilt for new terrains and campaigns that were just hopeful wishes over a decade ago. The Mirage in the logo is camoflaged, much like the real aircraft in later service. The "HD" has been replaced with "Rebuilt" as what was HD in the 2010s is jsut standard today. All you need to do , is to replace the entry in the AVIONICS.INI file and add textures. Pls, test it and let me know your opinion.     Mirage F1EQ5_Iriaf This mod is dedicated to BPAO, nothing would have been possible without him. Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force seized 24 F1BQs and F1EQs flown over from Iraq, during the 1991 Persian Gulf War. As of December 2021, 12 Mirage F1EQs and 5 Mirage F1BQs were in service. This mod is not 100% accurate, Iran used all the EQ versions but for more simplicity we decided to use only one version, the EQ-5, to cover all the IRIAF aircrafts. There is not a lot of informations about the Iranian Mirage, so we did our best to make a realistic aircraft. Based on Iraqi F1EQ-5 v4.0.1 mod with the following changes: all the original Iraqi weapons and pods have been disabled as Iran did not get any of those P7 and sidewinder compatibility added (instead of R550) F5 tanks (underwings stations only) instead of original F1 RP35 US bombs and rockets.     This edit in the original file allows you to fly as if you were the wingman of the formation. You continue to be the leader, and giving orders to the rest of the squad, but flying as the right wing, giving the radio command 1-8-6. To return to the original formation, just perform the radio command 1-8-3. I like it, because I like flying as a wingman and "inserting" myself into the maneuvers and following the "leader", giving more immersion to the flight. You just need to be careful when flying with nations where the pilots have "poor skills", as during the maneuvers the "leader" can spread and collide with you. In this case, before the "action begins", I suggest giving the command 1-8-1 so that he moves away so that a collision does not occur.     This is a complete overhaul/update/fixing of great Dave original package, an handmade reskin using Lod viewer and no templates. The job was started several years ago and finished after downloaded last Kevin's effort. So you'll find, jpg textures, SM files, fixed camo, lines and right shaped stripes and some missing parts added to originals. As I always dislike redoing someone's else work pratice without a valid reason, this job started only for personal use, but when became a complete overhaul, I decided to share. As a bonus a Defence Systems Evaluation skin made by myself using TW silver skin as template (EB-57B) and a second AVON 1 skin for 13 BS. Decals are taken from Dave's package and some are brand new. Everything needed is supplied, excepting those weapons used that are stock 3W items. Skins remain in their original bmp format. Each skin has 26 letter and number decals, and Decal Randomization is TRUE. Almost all markings are decals. The SF2 date switch is used on the standard IIIC, changing to the Air Defense Blue in 1975. For the most part, the skins are left 'attached' to the squadrons from when originally released 'way back when. When in-game, on the Aircraft Selection Dropdown you'll see: Mirage IIIC (TMF) or Mirage IIIC/SEPR (TMF) So you can't mistake them for anything else but TMF Birds (tm). As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. All original readmes, when discoverable, are included.     Royal Air Force Meteors. Bunch of Meteors for the Royal Air Force and Royal Navy. This mod is not to compete with the previous Meteor mods that I was part of. It is just my, different approach. Basic modding skills are required to run this mod. (copy/paste, mod folder structure, etc.) Install: Copy and paste specific folders into the correct destination. A fake pilot is required to run this mod. Also, the Thirdwire Meteor cockpit is required from the original game. Fuel tanks- not to be afraid. Overwrite or just leave it. 100 gal tank is the original TW tank. You can overwrite or just simply do not copy. 175 gal tank also. Tanks are just ini files. The mod uses tanks that are part of aircraft lod. Yes, again Meteors. But I made this revamp to fix what I wanted to fix for some time already in old models..plus a few new things. So we have 22 different (more or less) aircraft. F Mk.1 - first 12 production Meteors with Welland I engines. Not all served in 616 Sq at the same time. Some were moved to RAE or Gloster Company for further development. F.Mk.3 - first 15 airframes with Welland I engine. F.Mk.3 - equipped with Derwent I engine. F.Mk.4 - High-Speed Record (Basically F.4 with long span wing from F.3 - Or F.3 with long Nacelles - depends on how you look at it - but serial is listed under F.4) - Anyway, bonus aircraft for speed record in 1945 and 1946. F.Mk.4 - fighter jet with Derwent 5 engines. T.Mk.7 - two-seat training jet. F.8 - represented in mod with 3 variants for the game. First with an early canopy hood. Then bubble canopy and the last one with a large bore engine intake...(mostly serials WK and WL...but at some point, you could have large intakes and early canopy...just a matter of when and where) FR.9 - fighter recon version in two variants early and late canopy. PR.10 - photo reconnaissance version NF.11 - radar night /all-weather fighter NF.13 - radar night /all-weather fighter with additional equipment for use in hot/tropical climate NF.12 - radar night /all-weather fighter NF.14 - radar night /all-weather fighter NF.14(trop) radar night /all-weather fighter with additional equipment for use in hot/tropical climates mostly prepared for No 60 Sq. But also served within units stationed in Great Britain. NF(T).14 - training version for Air Navigation Schools - Rebuild from NF.14 - no radar or armament. TT.20 - target tug aircraft with target sleeve for artillery practice (target sleeve is deployed as bomb bay doors - AI will open doors when approaching target). U.15 - target/research drone jet based on F.4 Meteor U.16 - target/research drone jet based on F.8 Meteor T7(TT) - separate version - target tug with target banner. - Should start in the air in single mission editor - while AI is taking off it will lose the banner on an airstrip. Tip... TT.20, U.15, U.16, and T.7(TT) are serving for nation=RAF but privately I have them as RAF-RED for 'training purposes' you can do that too, or screw this at all. Use it for your liking. I do not know how you are going to use those special aircraft...but it is here for general enjoyment. While RAF did not have in mind using Meteors for a ground attack there was a possibility to equip them with non-guided rockets (F.8 and FR9) or bombs (F.4/F.8/FR.9). So you can do it...but I set primary/secondary mission only CAS and armed recon for FR.9...but you can always edit it your way. Skins represent all squadrons that operationally used Meteors. Later at some point, after withdrawal many Meteors found some new home as squadron hacks..and could be found everywhere...almost. But those were single examples in specific markings. Those are not included in this mod. I Made a bunch of decals. Some squadrons have special markings on the fin to represent commanding officer aircraft (usually the correct serial number for a specific year), and some do not. Mostly code letter is generic and do not correspond with real code assigned to serial number. But in a few skin sets it is as it should be. You will see. Explore. Also, RAF letters folder should be added to the Decals folder I know it is big but it gives slightly better quality with still small file size All correct serial numbers for every Meteor version. Excluded are numbers that never served within the Royal Air Force or were sold to other countries from RAF inventory. this gives us 2918 individual serial numbers (I believe that is the number never counted what I did). There are many reasons why I have made things in this mod the way they are...versions, skins, and decals. A lot to explain but I doubt anyone wants to read about it anyway. Under no circumstances do not use any part of it with older Meteors done by me and published here in CA. These new ones have some differences in mapping. Some things were changed, some mapping issues and small thingies. So please do not mess up things. Credits.     SF2 Green "Not Desert" Terrain Pack 8/23/24 == For SF2, any and all, but Full 5 Recommended == *** Your mod folder(s) =MUST= have, or access to, the stock Desert terrain, as many items are referenced from that stock terrain cat. *** Once upon a time, in the early 2000s, one of our first terraformers, Deuces, released a "Euro-Desert". Basiclly, retiled to a more lush green environment. This is my contribution in that vein. This terrain is designed to be FUN, and perhaps more than a little silly. As can be expected, there are Easter Eggs (tm) EVERYWHERE. This is a revamp of the stock 3rd Wire "Desert" terrain. It has gone through a somewhat extensively large rebuild (tile-wise), being retextured to a more cooler climate (see Notes) Large amounts of "eye candy" have been added to the airports, cities and other military targets. Ports have been upgraded with buildings, docked ships and other maritime goodies. The movement ini has also been modified, with additional and/or re-plotted routes. Be advised, that the original Desert campaign(s) MIGHT work, as I kept "things" as close as possible to the original, with the exception of FINALLY naming the tiled city regions in the southwest of the map that had never been touched since the 2003 initial release of SFP:1. However, I cannot gar-un-tee any of the existing stock or user made campaigns will work on this modded terrain; Be Advised! I've supplied a great number of Ground Objects (many of which you may already have), but you'll want to double check them after unzipping, to make sure you have everything before installing. Meaning: not everything has been supplied. Ground defenses (AAA & SAMs) use the generic tags (SAMLauncher, SAMRadar, etc), so there should be no problems with the Game Engine (tm) using what's in your Mods Folders. With Ground Objects in mind, this terrain has the usual minimum year spread from 1945 through (at least!!!!) 2050. There are NO mission restrictions, excepting Naval Action (no CVs!!). When 'in game', on the terrain selection drop down, you'll see NotDesert (Green) Select it, and play normally. As is always recommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE READ THEM!!! It should be noted, you might (ok, WILL) experince longer than normal loading times on this terrain. It's because of all stuff I found I needed to include when (re)building it.     F-86D Sabre Dog Basic modding skills are required to run this mod. (copy/paste, mod folder structure, etc.) Install: Copy and paste specific folders into the correct destination. Make a backup copy of your files if you have a similar mod already on your PC, you might not like this one. A fake pilot is required to run this mod. A new model of F-86D and IF-86D as used by the Yugoslav Air Force In the game, you will find it under the prefix JRV All skins are in 3072x3072 format. You can easily resize as needed. If needed I can provide it in 4096 format. Decals represent historically correct serial numbers assigned to aircraft during their service in the YugoslavAir Force. There is one issue that I do not like and that might bother someone too, but I will attempt to fix this as soon as I have more available references. The issue is that amid 130 delivered F-86D around 30 (32) were converted into reconnaissance version. And around 30 were designated for spare parts upon delivery. Serial numbers that cover "spare parts airframes" are easy to determine, and those serial numbers were removed from whole serials /decals/numbers. Unfortunately finding which of the 98 operational airframes were converted into a recon version is nearly impossible (I was able to find two numbers among 32). So in the game, you will have 98 airframe serial numbers for F-86D (a little less for the 1968 camouflaged skin set) and 32 for IF-86D... while those 32 serials of IF-86D should be subtracted from those 98. This mod is no longer using a fake rocket tray gun. Now thanks to sudden enlightenment it works as stock Lightning F.1 Credits. The model is new but some parts are based on Zur's F-86H which I was able to work on previously with Wrench. "Based on the revealed images, the Type 625E is a short range air defense system, or SHORAD. It is built as an 8×8 vehicle-mounted self-propelled anti-aircraft gun and surface-to-air missile system." —— From Military-Wiki This SHORAD is set to debut in at least 2021, with Type 625 being PLA’s own version, while Type 625E is the version intended for export. The difference between them is that the Type 625 has a longer gun and only 2 short-range anti-aircraft missiles on both sides. In this mod, due to the lack of 100% accurate model materials, I personally transformed the Type 625E based on the real prototype, named it Type 625A and set the service date as 2020.     ALBATROS D I REDUX A workover of my previously uploaded Albatros DI models, I have completely reworked the skins and markings, there are 5 versions in this upload, A factory "Standard" skin in ply and Linen, a version with a lighter stained ply and more yellowis Linen for the wings and empenage. The next one is an all over 2 colour camouflage over blue scheme, then an rework of the previously released DI of Prince Friedrich Karl von Preußen, which is an all over sea green colour, there IS a discussion as to whether this aircraft had a camouflage scheme on the upper surfaces, however it is only speculation, as there are no actual photos I can find of this machine. The final DI is an all blue with camouflage upper surfaces, of Hans Bethge of Jasta 1. Everything as always is packed up and ready to go, just unzip, and drop into your directory where you have all your other flying circusses !!! Just be aware it will over write any existing DI's you may have already installed, so dont forget to backup or rename the original files, to avoid any unfortunate mistakes !!!! Included are all the sound files, decals, guns, pilots and of course the actual Albatros. A shout out to Steven 1918 of course, without whom we wouldnt have the DI/DII Albatros in the first place, also to Geezer for the Pilot figure, and anyone else I may have inadvertently forgotten.     Albatros C III Redux This is a complete work over of the Albatros CIII. I was inspired by both Steven 1918's and Sinbads earlier releases of this aircraft. I used Stevens original release as a baseline, and also took inspiration from Sinbads relese as well. However, these are totally new skins. there are 3 from early war, with the early style of cross. an all over Linen one, a Blue aircraft, and a Stained ply wood version, the next set are from the mid war period, with the newer syle of Cross,. A more Blue Grey version, a Dark Stained Ply aircraft, a Green over Blue , and finally a Camouflage painted Albatros. The next couple are both in Lozenge, one Blue, and the other Green with the lozenge on the uper surfaces, and the lower surfaces of the wings. Finally I did an Austrian machine, which is speculative, as some references sat the KuK Luftruppen did use the type, whilst others do not seem to refer to it being in service with Austria at all, but it's there anyhow, and the last one on the list would be a Turkish machine in all over Light Grey. I have not made any of the Aircraft as belonging to any particular Kasta, as information is not particularly good on this aeroplane, so all the markings are generic, but also different for each colour scheme. This is an all in one package, so everything you need is included Sounds, Pilot, Guns, Decals, simply unzip the file and drop it straight into you FE directory. Just be aware that if you already have the C III installed, that this WILL overwrite it, so please back up or rename your existing Albatros C III !!! A shout out to Stephen 1918 for doing the original, to Sinbad for his model, from which I copied and improved some details from, also to Geezer for the Pilot model.     Gunfighters! 366th Wing, Mountain Home's Mini Air Force in the 1990s In the 1990s, CSAF General Merril McPeak had a concept to test; expeditionary wings that had the entire range of capabilities to wage an air campaign. This lead to change for the 366th Fighter Wing, "Gunfighters", as they transitioned from a F-11 fighter unit to a composite wing, with bomber aircraft, tankers, and fighters specializing in air to air, SEAD and interdiction roles. The wing participated in several exercises and combat operations throughout the 1990s to validate the composite wing concept. Ultimately, economics of operating so many different aircraft types in one wing and base led to the consolodation of the Wing as a F-15E Strike Eagle unit. But, for about a decade, the Gunfighters hosted an entire mini air force, ready for its' nation's call to action. This mod is a tribute to that experiment. Installation This package includes everything you need to get into action. Unzip the mod, ope the "2. Mod Folder", and place contents into your chosen mod folder. Allow overwrites as necessary.     SF2 A-1H Skyraider (3W) VA-75 Skin Pack 1/11/2024 -For SF2, Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended-- must have access to the A-1H Skyraider in your mods folder(s) This here is a new skin for the stock 3W A-1H Skraider, depicting VA-75 "Sunday Punchers" in approx 1962 aboard USS INDEPENDENCE in Southeast Asian waters. Most markings are decals, excepting for the squadron color bands on the rudder. Through the magic jiggery-pokkery of Level 2 decals, the CAG color bands are also available when you select modex #500. The line birds have their correct markings. All serial numbers are 100% historically correct for this unit at this time period. It should be noted, nothing is provided to make this AI aircraft flyable; you should have alread done that. This is just the textures and decals.
