      Viper 01/18/2019   ------------------------------------------------------------- Original Readmes:
      -------------------------------------------------------------   SF2 USAF/NATO/Western Cargo Planes by Veltro2K     3/20/2013 -For SF2, Any and All- This is a re-release of these aircraft, as some have stated a desire to have them again.
      This pak includes all my reskins, decals, ini tweeks from the various "upgrade paks" I'd released before the aircraft were disappeared.
      This pak contains =ONLY= those aircraft used by the USAF, our Allies and other NATO powers. The Soviet/Warsaw Pact transports are someplace else.... Included in this pack are: C-141A Starlifer
      C-141B Starlifter
      C-5A Galaxy
      C-17 Globemaster III
      G-222 Spartan (called such in USAF service) Some may be more complete than others, with regards to decals and such. Some are fairly 'untouched', and will need further decaling, etc. Some hangar and loading screens are NOT in SF2 format, and will need redoing (meaning: I never got around to them!).
      All the original readmes from the Upgrade Paks (I could find!) are included within this main folder. I'd reccomend reading them, just for fun! Skin and some decal templates (again, when I could find them!) are included. The decal template is for the "ttag" decal, that is for USAF AMC usage.
      This pak is quite large, as the skins remain in their bmp format. You can convert to jpg at you convience. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! PLEASE read the "Notes" section for other important notations. Also, the Legal Statement has been changed with regards to this aircraft.
      For those that still have the original releases, you may not need to reapply this package. But, to be safe, PLEASE check over your aircraft to be sure. Thank You :). **These aircraft herein are released in "AS IS" Condition. There are/may be some issues with the LOD that may not/cannot be resolved. Period. Any and all issues/problems that cannot be solved via ini edits will exist forever, as new models are unlikely to be created. For now.** ------------------------------------------------ =TO INSTALL: As I always reccomend, unzip the "sf2_veltro2k_cargoplanes_pak.zip" to a temp folder or your desktop or somewhere else that's easy to find Then, simply, copy/paste the Objects folder supplied directly =OVER= your existing /Objects folder.
      Copy/Paste the supplied Sounds folder directly OVER your existing /Sounds folder

      You'll probably be asked "OVERWRITE?", just say Yes. I've already seperated out the various folders (Aircraft, Decals, etc), so they'll drop right where they're supposed to be. ----------------------------
      Notes: Again, as these are considered "heavies", they are best left under AI control, even though they all have cockpits. What can be done with them, I've not too many clues...however, with the SF2 mission builder, they can be inserted into campaigns, single missions and a host of other opportunities that present themselves. Use you imagination. If there is a HUGE hugh and cry, perhaps I can be moved to locate all the Soviet transports Veltro did....if I can find where I put them!

This package =ONLY= contains the data inis for the aircraft listed below. You will still need to locate the original aircraft. It is highly suggested (read: REQUIRED) that you have SF2NA as part of your merged installs, as several of these reference the stock 3W Tu-95 Bear destroyed model. Some reference the stock 3W An-12, Tu-16 or B-52D (SF2V) destroyed models as well. Flight Models remain "as issued"; they've not been touched by me. All New Data Inis Included in this pack are for: C-5A Galaxy
      C-17 Globemaster II
      C-141A Starlifter
      C-141B Starlifter
      G-222/C-27 Spartan
      E-767
      KC-767 (KC-46)
      Nimrod MR.1 (RAF ASW/Martime Patrol)
      Br.1150 Atlantique  (ASW/Martime Patrol)
      PB-1W Navy Fortress (USN 1940s/50s AEW - B-17) DC-8 *
      B-747  Pan Am"Jumbo Jet" *The DC-8 mods are for the package by Daddyairplanes*
      All aircraft have had their data inis reworked to correct, add, move, remove or generally "fix" all the hit boxes, relocate components (ie: fuel tanks, as best as possible inside the airframe) and in general clean up many things that simply escaped notice. The exception here is the Pan Am 747, which gets a partly repainted skin, with all new 100% accurate civil registration number decals (18) AND their matching "Clipper" names. Decal Randomization is "TRUE". The 747 and DC-8s also get an avionics upgrade (GM radar). Some sounds are included; you may have them alread, or not; but I like "to be sure". Please note, some of these aircraft may NOT be in the SF2 downloads section; one will need to Search the SF1/Wo* (1stGen) downloads. Equally important, is to HAVE the aircraft installed =BEFORE= installing this Upgrade Pack. Kinda makes sense, right? <gr> As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. Happy Landings!

      ==========
      To Install: Another reminder: ****HAVE THE AIRCRAFT INSTALLED TO YOUR SF2 MODS FOLDER OF CHOICE =BEFORE= INTALLING THE UPDATE/UPGRADE PACKAGE.**** As always reccomended, unzip the "sf2_v2k_western_heavies_upgrade_pak" to a temp folder or your desktop or somewhere that's easy to find. Copy/Paste the /Objects folder DIRECTLY into the SF2 game install of choice's /Objects folder. It's already divided into the /Aircraft and /Decals sub-folders. You'll asked to "Overwrite?" , just say yes. It'll change nothing. Copy/Paste the included /Sounds folder DIRECTLY over you existing Sounds folder. Allow the "Overwrite". I've included sounds you may already have, but wanted to be sure that (nearly) everything was available to the End User (tm). That should cover it, go fly! -----------------------------

      see original readmes ------------
      Other Notes and Nonsense: Included are the original Data inis, already backed up, in case you End Users (tm) don't appriciate all the hard work that goes into creating, giving, and keeping up the Mods we do. Remember, these mostly exist for "Eye Candy" and Targets (tm), but I felt it was well worth the effort to try and correct the hit boxes. Also, remember they're really not to be Player Usable, even with cockpit, as the Game Engine has no coding for their proper usage. But, have fun anyway! A note about the destroyed model usage: While not 100%, we work with what we have, after all, it's just a burning, dead wreck on the ground. If a 3d Modeler (tm) wants to build crashed birds; go for it, I says! I know the "Clipper **" name decals are in the wrong font, but after spending an hour and half trying to FIND the correct one, just chose to use one of my script fonts. Deal with it <g>. At present, there are NO plans whatsoever to update the individual aircraft packages. End Users are on their own to locate the aircraft in the CombatAce downloads sections and apply this fix-it pack. --------------------------- If you have any problems, questions, comments, I can be reached in the usual places; CombatAce, SimHQ, or p0rn sites. 2. F-101B VooDoo. SF.2 2019 Redux.

      Reworked pack of F-101B/F VooDoo.
      Generally old good VooDoo in new dresses.
      There are some small changes in data.ini files mostly in weapon stations section - so Backup your original file. You might not like it.
      Pack contains three versions - In reality, IR sensor was applied to different airframes different block build - not really possible to cover in this game engine limits. To make it easier in this game it will be. This is mostly to cover in some right way decals I've made and units.
      VooDoo '59 without IR sensor - block build 65-96.
      VooDoo '65 with IR sensor  - block build - 100-120.
      VooDoo '69 ANG - same as 65 - just different set of skins.  (I have an additional nation in my install: USA Air National Guard - that's why I have it as a separate model - but in this pack, it is set as USAF bird).
      All new skins in 3072x3072 resolution. New bump maps and specular maps. also in 3072.. plus more than 1000 decals so the set is again huge after unpacking.
      Pack contains 17 skins for Air Defense Command - all squadrons that ever used F-101B (from different time periods to cover years of usage).
      and 7 skin sets for Air National Guard from different time periods.
      All new decals consisting 451 serial numbers for blocks 65-120. Plus some buzz numbers decals - not all -  as Buzzes disappeared in mid 60's.
      Serial numbers cover B and F models.

      Backup your original F-101 Folders. Also Decals!

      Some time ago (long ago) I started to use specific AIR-2 Genie for Voodoo - to accommodate it in weapons bay it is moded as specific stationcode=AIM4 - so to appear this Genie in a game you have to copy weapon AIR-2_Genie_101 also. Genie has new skin.

      Credits:
      Original models ErikGen
      yakarov - skins / decals / some small ini tweak
      Plane Number (airbrake decal) for 132FIS ANG from original VooDoo pack by Dave.

      Have Fun.
      May the VooDoo be with you.

    3. DC-130A US Navy Director Hercules. SF2. 2018.

      This is extra pack of special version of C-130 Hercules used by US Navy DC-130A.
      Basic modding skills are required to run this mod.  (copy/paste, mod folder structure etc.) also pledged allegiance to the Queen and Country - required.
      Install:
      Copy paste specific folders into a correct destination.
      Fake pilot is required to run this mod.
      Pack contains all required models and it is based on Dels great new C-130 Pack + update available here on Combat Ace.
      http://combatace.com/files/file/16427-c-130-hercules-superpack/
      update here:
      http://combatace.com/files/file/16480-c-130-hercules-superpack-add-on-1/
      All skins are based on my new templates in 3072x3072
      Credits:
      Original model + pit model: Dels
      C-130 fake pilot mods, BQM-drones,  DC-130 pylons, Skins and decals: yakarov

      Ive made all decals for all versions covering years of use in USAF service based on available reference materials.
      So all serial numbers are historically correct.
      National and squadron markings as always in my case are painted on skins.
      As weapons BAQM-34 - is EOGR missile - can be anything it will not work as drone anyway).
      Pylons are set as TLR - to accommodate EOGR  -but somehow there is an option to load one drone - do not use it. as it will appear somewhere in the middle of aircraft.
      Note:
      In this pack (unlike original Dels C-130) JATO is activated by vector thrust control (similar as in latest Tu-22 pack)
      If you have SEA version of DC-130A - probably you will need to rename pylons:
      DC-130_PylonInn
      DC-130_PylonInnBW
      DC-130_PylonOut
      to avoid conflicts with pylons of SEA versions - which have different colors.

      report bugs.

    6. Operation Desert Storm Skinpack and Updates for B-52G_89

                                                                                                                                                  Operation Desert Storm Skinpack and Updates for B-52G_89
          This Mod will add ODS skins for the B-52G_89 found here
      some weapon, ini, effects and sound edits are also included to enhance the operation of this classic bomber
          Included:
      Updated and reskinned B-52G_89, Decal set that puts multiple camoflages on each skin and at least a dozen Historical aircraft with Unit markings and nose art, updated weapons common to that version of the aircraft, a fake gunpod pylon for use with dual MERs, and updated sounds and effects.
          Historical Notes:
      Although you can fly em all, the only accurate skin to fly within ODS would be the Jeddah skin. The others flew from off of the various Iraq terrains available.
      Bomb missions markings not included as these are set to represent the beginning of the campaign.
      While many other weapons can be carried, the improved ones are the ones carried during Desert Storm, and strategic weapons (nukes)
      While ALCM pylon is missing (more below), it only affects the Senior Surprise mission from Barksdale AFB (16-17 Jan 1991). The other Bomb Wings did not employ CALCMs
          Installation:
      unzip. put all folders EXCEPT Templates into desired mod folder. Allow overwrites as needed.
          Known Issues:
      While there is currently a new Hound Dog pylon selectable in the download menu, there is not an ALCM pylon. While some sources state that the CALCMs were carried on the stub pylons, I find that not too likely.but it is how it is carried in game at this time. Either I will learn Blender and create one in the future, or a volunteer would be welcomed to create one (likely a faster route). But at time of initial release (24/12/2018) the cruise missiles are carried on the stubs.

    7. B-58A Hustler Redux 2018 (Wrench 2013)

      New\Updated 2048x skins, Decals & Reverted F-106 cockpit...
      Added 1920x Hangar and Loading screens...
      New\Updated pilots...   All ini files are mostly the same... All credits to the original creators in the original readme (below)...I just polished it.....   -------------------------------------------------------------
      Installation:
      ------------------------------------------------------------- >>> Please backup and delete your mod folders: "B-58A" in \Objects\Aircraft and \Objects\Decals folder...or you will not see the new skins...   Copy the contents of the uncompressed "To_Mod_Folder" folder into your Saved Game mod folder. Overwrite any conflicts...   Enjoy! Viper   -------------------------------------------------------------
      Original Readme:
      -------------------------------------------------------------   B-58A "Hustler"        7/8/2011   -- For SF2, Any and All -- This is a modification of Pasko's B-58 Hustler, to bring it more in line with SF2 standards.
      If you have the 2009 SF2 Update, just install this directly OVER your pre-existing folders, allowing the overwrite. If you don't, don't worry about it. Two skins are included (the same basic skin used twice), with all new 100% Historicaly Correct (tm) serial numbers, listing each operational aircraft that served with the 43rd and 305th Bomb Wings. Unfortunatly, I was unable to break them down each into which served with each of the 6 Squadrons in the 2 Wings, but this should do nicely.   There are also 2 cockpits included:
      The original SF2 mod by Dave (USAFMTL), that uses the F-106 pit and,
      An extensivelly modified F-4 Phantom pit (stock 3W ini only -as the cockpit exists in all versions of the game). This one makes use of many 'moves' to drop items out if sight, and uses the physical external model for the windshield framing.
      Neither one is perfect ... this is elaborated further in the "Notes" section, with instructions on what to switch or turn off in the various inis; depending on which you choose. Right now, it's using the Phantom pit, as it really is quite a bit closer than the 106's. In the Loadout ini, several alternate loadouts are listed. These can be accessed from the 3rdWire mission editor screen (for post-Expansion Pak 2 users). Other ini edits repositon the running & landing lights, add 'virtual' flaps (as this aircraft made use of drooping elevons -without the original source file this is impossible to duplicate-), minor engine adjustments, and avionics tweeks. It could also stand a slightly improved FM; the changes and other comments are in the "Notes" section. Weapons are included, the nuke explosion effects are =NOT=. YOu should probably have them from the GunnyPak. Speaking of weapons, a "new" 8kt ARM is included; this is a fictional ARM version of the Genie, more in line with "Fail Safe" and the No.6 Decoy/EW/Escort aircraft, and gives you a SEAD load. Kill SAM sites DEAD!!! Since real decoys don't/can't exist....it's just for fun! There's also and EO version, that can be used for STRIKE or SEAD missions. As always, =READ= the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs/requires/should have, to make it a LOT easier to install. Also, as usual, the expected 'Notes and Other Nonesense' comments by me. This =IS= Required reading -- there are some issues that are addressed there.   ---------------------
      To Install: As always, unzip the "sf2_hustler_pak.zip" to a temp folder or your desktop, or somewhere' else that's easy to find. Then, simply copy/paste the /Objects folder directly OVER the /Objects folder of your SF2 install of choice. All the folders have already been seperated out into their correct format that SF2 requires/wants/needs/should have for all mods. That's it ... Off you go!   -----------------------
      Notes and Other Nonsense: Ok, first and foremost of importance ...when carrying the Two Component Pod for Nuke strikes - DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ORDER YOUR WINGMAN TO 'DROP TANKS'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!-
      This WILL cause the game to lockup/freeze for some reason, and the only way out is C/A/D to start the Task Manager and kill it that way. You, however, can drop your tank, exposing the multi-megation bomb, This is how it would have been delivered ... the tank was kept until the bomb run, jettisoned, and then the bomb dropped. Apparently, when Wingmen are given the 'attack my target' order, they should automatically dump the externals. (Unfortunately, during STIKE mission testing, it seems that giving your wingman ANY orders like - 'attack my target' may also freeze the game. Don't know what's causing it. Something releated to the nukes/TCP maybe??? Just be advised ... and let the AI handle ALL of these aircraft). They're quite fun for high-mach, low level flying.
      Don't forget, too, these aircraft would have operated alone on their missions into the Soviet Union, and NOT in formations. You may want to send you wingmen home on STRIKE, and do the job yourself. Your choice -- but just remember what happens. Also, the aircraft =REALLY= needs a new flight model ... IMO it has too much drag and not enough lift, and has a tendencay to 'tail stall' during hard turns. Of course, it's a frakking BOMBER, and shouldn't be making fighter-like manuvers. There ARE some clipping issues with the Phantom cockpit as used -- the side window frames disappear. As I'm totally opposed to fucking around the the games clipping distances, these have been left alone. You'll just have to not turn you head too far left or right. I've narrowed down the cockpit views to try and prevent this as much as possible, but it's a moot point. Which brings up another point -- my feelings are that even with cockpits and such, bombers should be left under the control of the Games AI -- it does a much better job of putting iron (or uranium/plutonium in this case) on the target. I'm may also update Pete "pappychksix" Fredrico's SEA camo skin, and will release that when it's done. It needs better decals! Howeve, given the excessively SMALL conventional load ... the aircraft may be better used as a Pathfinder, with high-explosive ARMs, LOTS & LOTS of chaff, and super-powerfull jammers. Essentially, and EB-58s, similiar to the EB-66s as used in Southeast Asia. We'll see....   ----------------------
      -Swapping Cockits: If for any reason, you want to go back to the 106's pit, here's what you do: Open the B-58A_DATA.ini, and scroll down to the [NOSE] section. You'll see this:   [Nose]
      ParentComponentName=Fuselage
      ModelNodeName=Nose
      //ShowFromCockpit=FALSE
      ShowFromCockpit=TRUE you'll note I already have the switch in place to turn off the nose, thereby removing the external windows/windshield framing. Simply uncomment the 'ShowFromCockpit=FALSE', and comment OUT the 'ShowFromCockpit=TRUE It would then look like this:   [Nose]
      ParentComponentName=Fuselage
      ModelNodeName=Nose
      ShowFromCockpit=FALSE
      //ShowFromCockpit=TRUE Save and close the data ini. In the B-58A.ini, where the cockpit statements are, you'll see this: [AircraftData]
      AircraftFullName=B-58A Hustler
      AircraftShortName=B-58
      AircraftDataFile=B-58_data.ini
      //CockpitDataFile=B-58_cockpit.ini  <---
      CockpitDataFile=F-4E_COCKPIT.INI    <---
      HangarScreen=B-58_Hangar.bmp
      LoadoutImage=B-58_LOADOUT.bmp
      LoadingScreen=B-58_loading.bmp
      LoadoutFile=B-58_loadout.ini
      AvionicsDLL=Avionics60.dll
      AvionicsDataFilename=B-58_AVIONICS.INI   You do pretty much the same thing, commenting out the F-4E cockpit ini, and uncommenting the B-58 cockpit ini. Thusly:   [AircraftData]
      AircraftFullName=B-58A Hustler
      AircraftShortName=B-58
      AircraftDataFile=B-58_data.ini
      CockpitDataFile=B-58_cockpit.ini
      //CockpitDataFile=F-4E_COCKPIT.INI
      HangarScreen=B-58_Hangar.bmp
      LoadoutImage=B-58_LOADOUT.bmp
      LoadingScreen=B-58_loading.bmp
      LoadoutFile=B-58_loadout.ini
      AvionicsDLL=Avionics60.dll
      AvionicsDataFilename=B-58_AVIONICS.INI   As stated above, NEITHER is a perfect choice .. the Hustler had a rather unique cockpit, and did not have the radar display or RWR in the pilot's compartment. These was handled by the Radar Navigator (aka Bombadaier) and the Defense Systems Operator seated behind him. For gaming purposes, this will have to suffice. You'll also have to rename the 'xCockpit' folder back to just plane Cockpit. This has all the F-106 cockpit bits. Of course, if one wants to convert to totally AI, simple comment out BOTH cockpt inis, and it'll revert to computer/game AI control.   -----------------------

      C.3 start date is set to 1978 - first completed conversion. Also, it took a few years to convert all 31 airframes.
      C.1K 82 and 88 only difference is in fake pilot color skin - to represent late wraparound camo scheme.

      -------------------------------------------------------------   Boeing B-47B Stratojet (Veltro2k 2015)   The Boeing B-47 Stratojet was a long range, six-engine, turbojet-powered strategic bomber designed to fly at high subsonic speed and at high altitude to avoid enemy interceptor aircraft. The B-47's primary mission was to drop nuclear bombs on the Soviet Union. With its engines carried in nacelles under the swept wing, the B-47 was a major innovation in post-World War II combat jet design, and contributed to the development of modern jet airliners.   The B-47 entered service with the United States Air Force's Strategic Air Command (SAC) in 1951. It never saw combat as a bomber, but was a mainstay of SAC's bomber strength during the late 1950s and early 1960s, and remained in use as a bomber until 1965. It was also adapted to a number of other missions, including photographic reconnaissance, electronic intelligence and weather reconnaissance, remaining in service as a reconnaissance aircraft until 1969 and as a testbed until 1977. 11. Turkish Air Force F-104S

      Turkey is one of the very first countries to receive the F-104Gs within the MAP program. As a preparation for the new aircraft the 144th Squadron was organised at the 4th AB in Mürted-Ankara. The first 15 aircraft arrived on May 10th,1963 by sea and they were deployed at the newly founded squadron in July. In July 1963 two TF-104gs arrived and they were also assigned to the same squadron. This was followed by Canadair produced 18 F-104Gs and 2 TF-104Gs. The shipment continued in 1965 with 5 more Canadair built F-104Gs. All of these planes were deployed at the 144th Squadron. In 1968 3 pcs F-104G and 1 pc TF-104G were received from USAF.
      The TuAF faced with the US embargo after the Cyprus peace-keeping Operation ordered a batch of 18 F-104S from Italy. 6 of the planes were delivered within the same year and the remainder in 1975 on the basis of the planes per month. In 1975 the purchase was risen to 40 planes all which were received within 1976.
      The CF-104s, F-104Gs, TF-104Gs and the RF-104Gs which were strated being replaced by more modern aircraft were despatched to Turkey. This operation included 17 pcs F-104Gs from Belgium, 43 pcs F-104Gs & 12 pcs TF-104Gs from Holland, 12 pcs RF-104G and one TF-104G from Norway and 165 pcs F-104Gs and 36 pcs TF-104Gs from Germany. Canada also promised to hand over the CF-104s after being replaced by the F-18A/Bs. In 1986 44 pcs CF-104G & 6 pcs CF-104D were received. These planes were allocated to the 181st and to the 182nd Squadrons.
       Within the elapsing time the TuAF F-104Gs started aging and they were withdrawn from active duty one by one. Some were even used as spare parts for those which were still in active duty. The last ones were the CF-104s of the 182nd Squadron when replaced by F-16C/Ds in 1996.

    12. Turkish Air Force AC-130U Spooky

      C-130 “Hercules” is one of the cornerstones of the Aviation History and it may be considered as one of the most successful cargo planes with its innovative design in which traces of “Kelly” Johnson’s works may be found.
      After having contracted for 2 prototypes on July 11, 1951, Lockheed committed the first to its maiden flight on August 23, 1954. The marriage of a new and innovative cargo plane design with the great power output of turboprop engines was viewed as very promising by the military, who quickly placed a large order, assigning them to the Tactical Air Command (TAC) as quickly as they became available, starting in December 1956.
      The long list of Hercules applications for the more than 1,500 built and delivered to all the military services includes; gunships, drone carrier/launch/control, missile tracking, space capsule retrieval, mapping, search and rescue, STOL research, weather reconnaisance, refueling tanker (including helicopters), assault transport, and command/communications. In addition, a stretched version was built for civilian cargo hauling.
      The C-130 was originally designed as an assault transport capable of operating from unpaved, hastily prepared airstrips. It  could transport up to 92 combat troops and their gear or 45,000 pounds of cargo. Where facilities were inadequate, the Hercules could deliver its cargo by parachute or by low altitude ground-cable extraction without landing.
      Twenty-eight C-130s were also converted to side-firing gunships, called AC-130 “Gunship” and they were primarily used for night attacks against ground targets during the Vietnam War.

    14. Kuwaiti Skyhawks - A-4KU/TA-4KU for SF2

      Kuwait Scooters - A-4KU/TA-4KU for SF2 - v1.0
      ==================================================
      *** any SF2I that has the KfirC1_77 for the cockpit and DLC005 required for the A-4K model ***
      This mods represents the A-4KU and TA-4KU Skyhawks used by Kuwait between 1977 and 1992.
      In the 1970s Kuwait purchased 36 Skyhawks (30 single-seater + 6 two-seater). These planes were based upon A-4M, that were delivered to the USMC at that time. So they got the same engine, the larger canopy, the brakechute and the squared off fintip. Equipment needed to deliver nuclear weapons, aswell as Shrike- and Walleye were deleted. The TA-4KU were unique in having the same engine as the single-seater, aswell as the avionics hump. Apart from some aerials their appearance is similar to that of the OA-4M.
      When Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1990, many of the pilots flew with their planes to Saudi Arabia. They were included in the Royal Saudi Air Force and flew 1361 sorties with the loss of only 1 plane.
      With the end of the Gulf War they were placed in storage and replaced by F/A-18 Hornets. After failed attempts to sell the surviving 23 planes to Bosnia and the Phillipines, they were finally sold to Brazil in 1997 to serve aboard the Aircraft Carrier Minas Gerais as AF-1 and AF-1A.
      Infos
      =====
      - cockpit used is the modified KfirC1_77 cockpit, that is already used for my A-4M-mod. I only made small modifications to fit it the A-4KU.
      - Pilotmodel is a stand-in, until someone comes up with a Kuwaiti Pilot :)
      - Fakepilot-stuff like hump and the antennas are made with MUEs new Blender-exporter - as I already said and always will: Thank you, great job, mue!
      - Skin resolution is 4096x4096
      - Skins are set up for "No9SQN" as I only found the general info, that planes were used by "No. 9 and No. 25 squadrons" and both squadrons didn't
          use any special markings it seems.

    15. Grumman E-2C Hawkeye

      The Northrop Grumman E-2 Hawkeye is an American all-weather, carrier-capable tactical airborne early warning (AEW) aircraft.
      This twin-turboprop aircraft was designed and developed during the late 1950s and early 1960s by the Grumman Aircraft Company
      for the United States Navy as a replacement for the earlier, piston-engined E-1 Tracer, which was rapidly becoming obsolete.
      The aircraft's performance has been upgraded with the E-2B, and E-2C versions, where most of the changes were made to the radar
      and radio communications due to advances in electronic integrated circuits and other electronics.
      The fourth major version of the Hawkeye is the E-2D, which first flew in 2007.
      The E-2 was the first aircraft designed specifically for its role, as opposed to a modification of an existing airframe,
      such as the Boeing E-3 Sentry. Variants of the Hawkeye have been in continuous production since 1960, giving it the longest
      production run of any carrier-based aircraft.
      The E-2 also received the nickname "Super Fudd" because it replaced the E-1 Tracer "Willy Fudd".
      In recent decades, the E-2 has been commonly referred to as the "Hummer" because of the distinctive sounds of its turboprop
      engines, quite unlike that of turbojet and turbofan jet engines. In addition to U.S. Navy service, smaller numbers of E-2s
      have been sold to the armed forces of Egypt, France, Israel, Japan, Mexico, Singapore and Taiwan.

    16. SF2 TA-4F Vietnam FastFACs - Revamp

      SF2 TA-4F Skyhawk "Vietnam FastFACs" - Revamp
      =============================================
      *** SF2V required for the A-4F Cockpit, that is used here. Tested in full 5-merged installation ***
      This is a revamp of Wrenchs Update of 331Killerbees TA-4F FastFAC-Pack. ;)
      Skins have been redone in greater resolution with more details. Decals are new (although original Decals are still there). Some bits of the plane are removed by ini-edit and exchanged by FakePilot-Addons to add more details and get rid of the shadow-issue caused by the outer wing pylons.
      5 new Droptanks are added (2x 150gal, 2x300gal, 1x400gal).
      BuNos are always correct for the squadron and many are also correct for the plane, although sources and pictures are very rare.
      H&MS-11 comes in 3 variations (CAG, Large Stripe + Bunny on Tail and Small Stripe without Bunny) that were used side by side as it seems
      H&MS-12 has CAG-Bird
      H&MS-13 has 2 Skins - The one from the original pack was used after Vietnam, but I redid it and included it. The one used in Vietnam has no special markings and a different Tailcode-style. I only found 1 pic as reference, so maybe other variation are possible too.

    17. SF2:I Boeing C-97 "Anak", IDF/AF Pack

      SF2:I Boeing C-97 "Anak", IDF/AF Pack             11/27/2017
      = For SF2:I (or Any & All, Full-5 Merged Prefered) =
      *Please note, as there is no B-337 Stratcruiser, the C-97 is standing in for all the civilian versions used by the IDF/AF. Also, this represents ONLY the cargo versions, not the air refueling tankers*
      This is a mod of Veltro2k's C-97G Stratofreighter depicting those as used by the Israeli Defense Force/Air Force in the mid-1960s through the late 1970s. This is the full aircraft "nationalized" for IDF/AF usage only.
      Serial numbers are 100% historical for aicraft(s) depicted (both B337 & C-97). All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. Pilot figures, various sounds are supplied. The new, updated/upgraded template IS included for other skinners to use.
      As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please READ them ... after unzipping but before installling, of course!!
      Happy Landings!

    18. SF2 TA-4F Skyhawk "Fast FACs"

      SF2 TA-4F Skyhawk "Fast FACS" by 331Killerbee & Co.
      This is the full package (all necessary parts included), originally created by 331Killerbee in 2008. It has been fully updated to SF2 standards, with various small changes to the aircraft and the data ini.
      As with my other SF2 "fixes" for the TA-4 series, some components have been 'removed' to stop the shadow tractor beams. The FM is at the latest SF2 standard (latest patch level) Other changes include (but not limited too):
      resetting all hit boxes
      randomization of decals
      "fake insignia" decal to activate Nation displayed name.
      All weapons used are stock 3W.
      Killerbee's original readme (well, actually this document!) is included for historical purposes, and it's historical background on the Fast FACs.
      Have fun!!

    19. CP-122 Neptune

      Royal Canadian Air Force Neptune Mod for SFP2 v1.0 (CP-122)
      *** This is a mod of the original P-2H (P2V-7) released by Tracker and the Argentine Modders Group ***
      This Mod represent the CP-122 Neptune of the RCAF :
      You fill find the complete aircraft in this package.
      404,405 and 407 Squadrons
      Early (AB + 3)
      Early (RCAF + 3)
      Late (RCAF + 3)
      All decals are made by me. I redraw the panel lines and rivets.
      Serials are real one's but not squadron specific.
      Background :
      The Canadian version of the Lockheed Neptune (P2V7) served as an anti-submarine, anti-shipping and maritime reconnaissance aircraft in the RCAF Maritime Air Command from 1955, replacing the Avro Lancaster maritime aircraft. The Canadian P2V7 was fitted with piston engines initially, although, in 1959, the Neptunes had two underwing Westinghouse J34 jet engine pods retrofitted, similar to those fitted to US Navy variants. Armament included two torpedoes, mines, depth charges, bombs carried internally plus unguided rockets mounted externally underwing. A total of 25 Neptunes served with nos. 404, 405 and 407 squadrons until 1960. Upon unification of the Canadian Forces in 1968, the Neptune was retired and retroactively re-designated the CP122, The RCAF Neptune was replaced by the Canadair CP-107 Argus in the same year.

    20. Malaysian Skyhawks - A-4PTM/TA-4PTM

      Malaysian Scooters - A-4PTM/TA-4PTM for SF2 - v1.0
      ==================================================
      *** any SF2 that has the A-4F for the cockpit and DLC019 required for the A-4L model ***
      The Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia (TUDM, or Royal Malaysian Air Force) ordered 88 surplus Skyhawks (25 A-4Cs and 63 A-4Ls) in 1980. The TUDM wanted these planes refurbished into 54 single-seaters and 14 two-seaters. However, the US government placed a temporary hold on the sale, and escalating costs due to inflation resulted in a cut in the order to only 40 aircraft.
      Grumman Aerospace at St. Augustine, Florida was given the contract to perform the rework on the TUDM Skyhawks. The rework included a complete rewiring, plus two extra underwing hardpoints similar to A-4E and later Skyhawks. A refurbished J65-W-20 engine was fitted. Updated electronics were also fitted, including the AN/ARN-118 TACAN, a SAAB RGS-2A lead computing weapons sight, a Lear Siegler altitude heading reference system, and an AN/ARC-164 UHF transceiver. The A-4Cs were fitted with the dorsal avionics hump. aswell as wing spoilers. A drag chute was installed below the tailpipe. A new canopy was fitted, which was slightly bulged at the sides. Some of the aircraft received preparations for the Hughes AN/ASB-19 Angles Rate Bombing System, aswell as provisions for AGM-65 Maverick missiles, but both were actually never used with these planes. Provisions for the use of AIM-9 Sidewinders were incorporated on the outer wing pylons. In the end, Grumman modified 34 aircraft. They were assigned the designation A-4PTM (where PTM stood for Peculiar to Malaysia, other sources say Persekutan Tanah Melayu - Federation of Malay States). The A-4PTM flew for the first time on April 12, 1984 and modified planes were assigned the TUDM serials of M32-07 to M32-40.
      Six A-4C/A-4L airframes were converted into two-place Skyhawks. This was done by inserting a 28-inch plug into the fuselage. Canopy and tandem seating arrangements were generally similar to those of the Douglas-built TA-4s. These planes were designated TA-4PTM. The TA-4PTM also featured five underwing pylons. The first TA-4PTM took off on its maiden flight on August 28, 1984. The six TA-4PTMs were given the TUDM serials of M32-01 to M32-06. Since they were based on the earlier A-4C/L, the 6 planes were among the few two-seaters, that used the J65 engine (together with early TA-4S from Singapore).
      Deliveries began in 1985 and were completed by February 1986. A-4PTMs served with No 6 and 9 Squadrons, both based at Kuantan AB, while TA-4PTMs served only with No 6 Squadron. Their service with the TUDM was quite brief. In 1989, it was announced that they were going to be withdrawn from service and replaced by British Aerospace Hawk Mk.208s in late 1994. Six Skyhawks were retained as tanker aircraft, using a centerline Douglas D-704 external buddy tank.
      By September 1999, the TUDM Skyhawks were no longer operational, and were derelict at the Royal Malaysian Air Force Base at Kuantan.
      Little information are available about those planes, so I tried to come as close as possible to the real ones. Cockpit is a heavily modded A-4F-cockpit modded around the fact, that the radarscreen was deleted and many intruments were rearranged to fill the space. According to Lt. Khoo those planes didn't have any countermeasures (no ECM, no Chaff/Flare-Dispensers) and probably no RWR. To add some survivability I deceided to leave RWR in the mod. ECM and Dispenser is commented out in the data.ini, so if you want to add those, just remove the //-bits.
      If you now ask, why the hell do we need a mod of this plane, if it barely can survive in the timeframe it was used? We do not, but I made it, because I could :P I like this plane, because it always was one of the lesser known variants of this well-known plane and for me it is one of the best-looking Skyhawks out there. So, I hope you have some fun with the Jungle Scooter. :)

      Installation
      ============
      1. unzip to a temporary folder
      2. open "Put_Content_In_Your_MOOD_Folder" and do as you were told, if asked to overwrite, say 'yes' :P
      3. enjoy!
      If the Squadrons are missing in the loadout screen, you should add the following lines in the squadronlist.ini ("<mod>\pilotdata"-folder) with XXX changed to the next free numbers:
      [SquadronXXX]
      Name=Malaysia_6SQN
      DisplayName=6th Squadron
      Nation=Malaysia
      [SquadronXXX]
      Name=Malaysia_9SQN
      DisplayName=9th Squadron
      Nation=Malaysia

    21. Special Hercules Over Vietnam

      This is extra pack of special versions of C-130 Hercules used by USAF during Vietnam War period.
      Pack contains all required models and it is based on Dels great new C-130 Pack + update available here on Combat Ace.
      http://combatace.com/files/file/16427-c-130-hercules-superpack/
      update here:
      http://combatace.com/files/file/16480-c-130-hercules-superpack-add-on-1/
      All skins are based on templates by Dels and are done in 2048x2048 format.
      Credits:
      Original model + pit model: Dels
      C-130 fake pilot mods, AQM-drones, Cargo 1800gal fule tank and DC-130 pylons: yakarov
      Pack contains:
      C-130E(I) Combat Talon I.
      In 1965-1966 Big Safari program started programs Skyhook / Stray Goose programs resulting in series of modifications to C-130E airframes as Fulton Recovery System and AN/APQ-115 TF/TA Radar.
      On 8 September 1966, Stray Goose deployed 4 aircrafts and personnel to Southeast Asia as Combat Spear unit under PACAF as Detachment 1 314th Troop Carrier Wing. Aircrafts operated from Nha Trang AB in Vietnam. and became first Combat talon aircrafts used in combat.
      C-130E(i) Combat Talon I
      HC-130P Combat Shadow.
      In mid-1966 flight testing began of rescue helicopters equipped with aerial refueling receivers, and 11 HC-130H - the controller aircraft were modified as tankers and redesignated the HC-130P. SAR, Command and Control/vertical lift (helicopter) aerial refueling aircraft, entering service in Southeast Asia in November 1966.
      Amid few original ARRS units this set covers painting and decals of 39th ARRS.
      DC-130A & DC-130E.
      Operations over China and Vietnam could not be succesfulf if not drones operated by 350th SRS . Three C-130As (56-0527, 56-0514 and 57-0461) and three C-130Es (61-2368, 61-2369 and 61-2371) were converted in the 1965-6 timeframe. It is possible that the DC-130As were intended for tactical drone operations and the more powerful and longer ranged DC-130Es were intended for strategic operations with 'big winged' Model 147s over China. The DC-130As generally migrated to test activities after the war and the DC-130Es, after serving with the 432nd TDG, rejoined the transport fleet as C-130Es.
      During service in Vietnam all DC-130A were later retrofitted with four bladed Hamilton Standard props.
      Ive made all decals for all versions covering years of use in USAF service based on available reference materials.
      So all serial numbers are historicaly correct.
      National and squadron markings as always in my case are painted on skins.

      I did not include any new bump or specular maps. Great stuff for replacment can be found in Kulbit80 pack:
      http://combatace.com/files/file/16489-vmgr-152-hi-viz-skin-for-kc-130f/
      As weapons AQM-34 - is EOGR missile - can be anything it will not work as drone anyway).
      Pylons are set as TLR - to acomodate EOGR  -but somehow there is option to load one drone - do not use it. as it will apear somewhere in middle of aircraft.
      AQM-34 Drones covers three versions:
      G- ECM version equipped with ALE-2 chaff dispening pods.
      L-low-altitude photo recce
      Q- big wing ELINT version
      In HC version refueling drogue is deployed at speed near 120kts. (to simulate refueling helicopters too.)
      Note:
      In this pack (unlike original Dels C-130) JATO is activated by vector thrust controll (similiar as in latest Tu-22 pack)

      RF-86A Sabre of the Korean War Poject Ashtray.

      There is one zipped file for SF2 and one for SF1 in this download package.

      Information on this project is and it's predecessor, Project Honeybucket, is schetchy. As gun removal seems to have been personal choice and changed throughout these projects I chose to leave the top four guns inplace as described at one of the few sites with information. Remove any or all guns as you desire.

      Credit and Thanks to:
      Zur - for the F-86 model and drop tanks.
      yakarov79 - for the fake pilot 3D cameras, photos and project info.

      regula50 - for the correct plane numbers and project info.
      FastCargo - for the Fake Pilot.
      Geary - for new panel lines, rivets, paint, ini modifications, etc...

      The cameras on the SF2 model are 3D .lods using .jpg format texture.
      As the .lod's and .jpg's aren't recognized by SF1, those cameras are painted on.

      If I forget or miss anyone who deserves credit for anything I release, I apologize. I have no intent to abuse or misuse anyone's work or property or claim it as my own. Please contact me to correct any error.
