2 pointsI'm working on a fictional theater using the beautiful Madagascar terrain. It features the T-45 as a fictional mercenary naval fighter (F/A-19E), with a brand new skin and ini edits, operating from long-deck Essex carriers off the coast. It imagines a budget war using low-cost trainers instead of front-line aircraft. So it includes AT-6B, Super Tucano, Hawk 52/60, L-39, MB-339, Alphajet and many others. They've all been set for CAP and SWEEP missions, so it's a battle of the small and swift. Much fun.

1 pointLooking Glass, Storm. Requesting authorization for protocol Nova. Storm, Looking Glass. Standby for Nova confirmation... Storm, Looking Glass. Prepare to copy... message states; "you are clear for weapon release." I say again, National Command Authority has cleared you for weapon release. Looking Glass, Storm, copy. Weapon release is authorized. Nova is away! Looking Glass to all allied aircraft. Nova has been initiated. Pullback code is Safe Haven.

1 pointThanks man I got it so you can remove it, again thanks for the help (and was planning on crediting the author of the skin, just a matter of course).

1 pointLooks great! Nice for low-level COIN missions. Looks deadly against helicopters and low-flying slow aircrafts.

1 pointNice find! Time to search for those colours RGB values!

1 pointUnless Geezer embedded the latest pilot models into the earlier pages of this "New Aircraft" thread...I don't think they were officially released. Have PM-ed you what I have (of the newest WW1 pilots) in my Pilots folder in FE2. The Stachel model is there too. Von S

1 pointWilches, Sorry if I gave the impression I am 'making' this model. I don't know how to 'make' models. This model is the Bell 206 JetRanger from YAP's pay ware 'Drug War' install, which I have. I am working to 'convert' it to a reasonable facsimile of an OH-58A Kiowa for my Vietnam installs. Mostly repainting a skin and hiding a few bits. I would also like some weapons for this a/c. I need an M27 Armament Subsystem with an M134 minigun. Hate flying around in a war zone with no weapons. So far, I've only found the minigun, but no way to attach it. If I understand it correctly, the YAP Bell 206 is converted (?) from a FSX model? If you don't have the YAP Drug War install, you might try converting the FSX freeware version. Then paint it and make/attach the weapons you want. The attached screenshot is what I'm converting it from:

1 pointAnother re-run pulled from the What-If Screenshot Thread - The Final Countdown (1980) Tonight's film is everyone's other favourite F-14 movie.... (Dialogue is courtesy of imdb) Captain Yelland: Alert One this is Eagle One, what've you got? Pilot: Two Japanese Zeroes, sir. Captain Yelland: Two what? Pilot: Two Trophy Class Mitsubishi A6Ms in original condition, complete with all markings. I mean, they look brand new sir! Captain Yelland: Have you been spotted? Pilot: Negative, we're right in the sun at their 6 o'clock high. Captain Yelland: Stay in visual contact, take no action without clearance. Pilot: Wilco Eagle One, out. Captain Yelland: Eagle Control to Alert One, you are clear to arm, but don't fire. Throw them off, play with them, but do not fire. F-14 pilot #1: Affirmative! F-14 pilot #1: Say, Fox... that woke 'em up F-14 pilot #2: Yeah, but I think we should give 'em another shot! [one of the F-14's barely dodges a burst of gunfire from one of the Zeroes] Pilot: Why the hell are we playing with these guys? Captain Yelland: Alert One this is Eagle One, you are clear to fire. Splash the Zeroes. I say again, splash the Zeroes... F-14 pilot #1: Eagle Control, Alert One. Splash two, repeat, splash two. Possibly one survivor in the water.

1 pointI agree, you`re not far off the mark...was to be a high altitude fighter and fast...some bumf and specs....some designs looked plain daft...but...most looked cool...I love some of the designs...keep in mind most were still in the 1940`s...amazing foresight.
