Mikoyan MiG-29A "Fulcrum-A" - 22nd Fighter Squadron, Croatian Air Force, 2013 Just before the fall of the Berlin Wall the Luftstreitkräfte der NVA (East German Air Force) took delivery of 20 MiG-29A and 4 MiG-29UB two-seaters. Following the reunification of Germany in October 1990 these MiG-29's were integrated into the Luftwaffe and were soon made NATO-compatible before being allocated to JG73 “Steinhoff” based at Laage Fliegerhorst. During the early part of 2004 JG73 began to receive the Eurofighter Typhoon and by August 2004 the last remaining MiG-29's had left Luftwaffe service for storage. After refurbishment they were sold to Croatia where the majority continue to fly operationally with the 22nd Fighter Squadron based at Pleso near Zagreb. Skin Credit: pappychksix

while looking for something else, I found this on YouTube. I have vague recollections of seeing some episodes as a verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry young boy in the early 1960s I'll have to search around, and see if the rest of the series is on YT

The Gnat pilot needs to be a 12-year old boy. Seriously, using a standard pilot, the legs will stick out from the undersides!

Sort of Off-Topic. Once I tried to seat on a A-4 Skyhawk. No way! I´m 1.85m tall and my knees does no pass under the panel cutouts. Not speaking on hood. Simply did not close! What kind of pilots were allowed for them. A Hobbit???

OA-10 ........... PrimaryRoles=FAC SecondaryRoles=ARMED_RECON,RECON,CAS,ESCORT .......... Mission Editor This is an AI flight - Player flight was A-7 on Strike. in area... already expanded Mavs, now marking targets with red smoke...(only if I am not lazy to edit stations - it could drop bombs first...anyway...) As for Prowler. If you assign ESCORT_JAMMER and loadout with at least one HARM it will lock on something and launch. This works for AI flights. You can do this for Sparkvark or Compass Call also - although they are unarmed. But if the player wants to have an 'escort jammer' experience (you can not fly escort_jammer by default) Prowler must have SecondaryRoles=ESCORT And simply click fly.. stick to your 'escorted element' and enjoy jammin, and if you have HARM just launch one or two... No quantum coding needed. Once the target is destroyed and you survive you will have mission success. Do not forget to add real fighter cover in form of escort or preferably - sweep. If you make the mission correctly with all elements needed to perform the task (sead/strike/cover-sweep etc...) I guarantee a lot of excitement in unarmed aircraft in a combat environment...Anyway fighters are boring.

The efforts of modders are bringing DCS World closer to being able to replace SF2 as the best simulation of the Vietnam air war. The free A-4E Skyhawk mod I posted about earlier has continued to improve. It now has an accurate external flight model, supports basic radio operation, and can perform mid-air refueling as well as having 100% compatibility with carrier operations. Some of the other mods are not as ambitious and rely on old tricks like borrowing Flaming Cliffs functionality, but still look quite impressive. Right now, anyone can download the free A-4E and join the Vietnam server for some great missions. If you own the modules you can also fly the F-5E, UH-1, C-101 (standing in for A-37 Dragonfly), P-51D, and P-47D (both props standing in for the A-1 Skyraider). Previously the MiG-21, MiG-19, and MiG-15 were available, but the host decided to get rid of the PvP option as he much prefers a co-op environment. Take a look at what is currently possible:

Would have been a much better fate for our 29ers than to sold them for 1 Euro per plane to Poland.

Good call, I’ll try that. Looks like TK may have used USAF definitions of “Low” and “Very Low”? 😉🇬🇧 Even “Very High”, my V-Force friends used to wander around at FL5500+, which translates as 16500m.

You can edit the waypoint height and airspeed parameters if you create a mission using the mission editor.

You're wrong. The Escort mission type simply spawns an escort flight, it does not force air combat. The stock game assigns that mission to fighter jets and also spawns enemy aircraft for what becomes pretty much a dogfighting mission, but if you assign the Escort mission type to ground attack aircraft, those will use their weaponry appropriately against ground threats. We already implemented this in the recently released ODS mod. Prowlers use their weapons against SAMs, while Ravens can only employ their ECMs against enemy aircraft and ground threats. The only issue is that the Escort mission type always spawns enemy aircraft, so if you're in a Prowler you'd better use your ECM and avoid being engaged by air threats.* *without counting the rather usual stock game bug where the Strike flight does not engage ground targets and instead flies in a straight line, making the Escort mission impossible to complete; no fix for that without a source code.

View File Handley Page HP.67 Hastings SF2 Handley Page HP.67 Hastings by Veltro2k & Co. 2/14/2021 -For SF2, Any and All (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended) "Quarantine Approved - Essential Mods" This is the release of the Handley Page HP.67 Hastings transport/cargo aircraft as used by the Royal Air Force from the late 1940s through the early 1960s. This version represents the C.1A & C.2 models. All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. All serial numbers are 100% historicaly correct. As none of serials represent any particular aircraft from any specific unit, they should be considered 'generic' in nature. However, I've assigned the aircraft to No.99 Squadron "Madras Presidency", as they recieved them in 1949, and are fairly representative of other Transport Command Squadrons. All sounds, pilot figures, hangar and loading screens are provided. The cargo bay doors are activated by the 'bomb bay' keystroke. As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein Veltro2k for the model (we really made him work!!) Kesselbrut (??) for the cockpit (from the WW2 B-24) TMF for the flaps & gear sounds GregoryP for WW2 4 engine sound Me for decals and ini work and stuff, screens, etc This is freeware, it =CAN= be redistrubuted, but =NOT= posted on other sites even if the original readmes and all other pieces of the package remain intact. The names of all contributors, modders, suppliers, etc =MUST= be listed in any new readmes. This package may =NOT= in any way, shape or form be used in any payware additions. I've downloaded all of the J-10's in the download sections of SF1 and SF2 and there's no less than FIVE different LOD's in existence! There are even LOD's hiding in some of the skin folders! Anyway, I'll release this soon with the LOD dated 24/09/2009 (a sweet 3D model) with the skin by Jv44kt with 2 Serbian squadrons and a bonus skin for the Montenegrin Air Force. This LOD has all 11 pylons (not all of them did) so there goes my backstory! I like to use stock items whereever I can but I will include the weapons shown above that are all referred to in the loadout.ini but you can tailor it to suit what you have in your install.

If I'm reading your comments correctly, you made a copy of the program files prior to reinstalling Windows 10, then copied that back into the Programs folder after the reinstall. Then you re-installed a clean copy of SF2. Is that correct? When you copied the program files did you also copy the Users...Saved Games files and copy them back into their folder? You may be having a conflict between the old files and the new files if you re-installed SF2. I'd rem out the old files (or temporarily put them in another folder) and try re-installing a clean copy of SF2 and see if it runs. Then copy whatever you need from the old files into the new Saved Games folder.
