6 pointsmuch as you wont like hearing it, yes: uninstall it. the pack was made to add missing assets to the game and to set difficulties to be between more realistic (air defenses arent gone in one mission) to criminally insane (the Russian brochure performance for the systems, where you are both super skilled and damn lucky if you survive one mission) many of our mods are not set for making the game easier; rather many modders on here either seek to be historically accurate, add things not available in stock, and make it more challenging besides, if you want to take em all out in one mission, use theold SAC method

2 pointsSpeaking about myself all of my air defense mods (SA-3, SA-6, SA-7, SA-14 along with AAA pack) were made as realistic as possble (taking into account the well known game engine limitations) because they were tested at their operational limits. I have conducted thousands launches for each of my air defense missile mods trying to determine each parameter how affects missile performance while I also spent much time for reasearch, verified combat performance etc. I sacrifise release time for realism. If you are used to fly against the stock air defenses then yes, it's normal that you find it difficult but stock systems perform quite poorly compared with the real life performance. In general there are 3rd party mods much closer to real life and yes they are more effective. SF2 terrains have less SAM sites than the real SAM deployment for that area. If you fly over GermanyCE in a regural mission even with air defenses set as HEAVY you will encounter 4-5 SAM sites max. In real life West and East German operated a very dense SAM network. In the West, HAWK sites were deployed along the border with no gaps concerning engagement zones and in DDR SAM network was more dense as Soviet air defenses were also present. Just take a closer look on USAF looses during Vietnam or Israeli looses between 1970-73. Hundreds of aircrafts were shot down by AAA/SAMs.

2 pointsYou can fake a IRST by mounting a non- lauching IRM in the nose. Just select it like a any other weapon. If you have a HUD it will show up as IRM LOCK icon. Other than that the only other cue you will get is the IRM Audio CUE. On your "Fake ISRT/IRM" you have too extend the seeker range too match the detection range of your IRST. I have done this before. It does work but using your radar is better.

2 pointsWhattho chaps! New to this malarkey. Wine to hand. Start game. Leave game as have forgotten to turn on TrackIR. Restart game and stare incomprehensibly at the screen trying to remember bindings I'd set a few hours previously on new HOTAS. Remove hound from lying on rudder pedals out of habit, not necessary as actually I haven't figured how to get the things working in this sim yet.

This mod package is designed to be applied to MigBuster's Upgraded Version available at the following URL: https://combatace.com/files/file/9446-f-102a-delta-dagger-veltro2k/ Several of the skins have also recieved replacement skin maps, and the changes are documented in the "Notes" below. These adjusted skins remain in bmp format. Repeat: this is upgrading =ONLY= the skins & replacing decals that came in that package. Also, due to many having painted on insignia, a hidden "Insignia" decal is used to activate the displayed Nation Name. The SF2 "date switch" is only used on 2 skins; the oldest (317th) with a '1' start date, and the later (509th camo) with a 1968 start date. Any others, which most of them DO fall in-between these two, End Users (tm) will have to select for themselves. As is always recommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE read them, before installing!!! Happy Landings! 1 pointthat is what i found out when i try to get the TISEO working , for air to ground missions it can be a big help especially when you going to use the gun , it works very limited on air to air mission because the TISEO is not locking on to a target and to hold a moving target in the scope is not easy F-4E_78 with TISEO

1 pointHello again fellow FE2-ers, Please find included below some of the latest developmental pics. from the Bleriot XI (6-cyl. Anzani powered). Swambast has been doing magnificent and detailed work on the 3D model. He is currently busy with other duties, and I will be taking a modding break during the summer - but we hope to collaborate further on the Bleriot XI over the next few months and eventually to get to the stage where I can apply an already-tested FM to this particular model. Will post here again in a few months once more things are completed. For the most part, the external model is now largely complete - we still need to look over and complete the rigging/warping wires for the wings, also some details regarding the wheel assembly - and to look over details for the cockpit (both for internal and external cockpit views). Then the FM-application stage will follow. Eventually, we hope to have a completed model ready, which our excellent skinners can as well have fun with once it is released. 1 pointif it is possible it is always better to add a deck. Not functional in game...but still nice addition. When one day in the future we will have SF2050 edition with all wishlist features...then it will be useful.

1 pointhmmm not tried yet...decs need tweaking...orange for the Blue 7G...got to make them... you can,I found out....with tga decs numbers too long.... so reduced width of tga by 85%....then made canvas size back to proper width... on main layer two borders ,filled with white...then alpha channel now had white borders...filled them with the black...saved and hey presto...didnt affect alpha channel at all.numbers are less long and look slightly higher as in pics above saves having go resize numbers and make new tga`s...
