Nord 2501, powered by the SNECMA-built Bristol Hercules 738/9 engines, which was found acceptable. Accordingly, the Noratlas was introduced to service by the Armée de l'Air on 6 December 1953. Following its adoption by the Armée de l'Air, a number of other operators in both Europe and Africa chose to procure the Noratlas for their own military air services. Having found itself in a similar situation to France, the German Air Force of West Germany chose to adopt the same solution, procuring the type for their own purposes. The Israeli Air Force, the Hellenic Air Force, and the Portuguese Air Force all deployed the Noratlas under combat conditions. Come on...this could be boring. No dogfight? At least 4 irons, 2 A/G missiles, 2 AR missiles and at least 4 IR missiles. And 2 gunpods... Hollywood style, freestyle.

I was trying to load AGM-78s on a B-47B to make a ridiculous SAC WW and purge clean the EM spectrum above Hanoi. I made it flyable until 1972, added the ARM entry to the corresponding line and had to switch the lenght limit by more than a meter, now the missiles appear in the loadout inventory but it won't load either Shrikes nor Standards, setting the station to EXTERNAL works, but of course, only allows 1 missile to be carried. Before I make 28 separate "external" stations, is there anything else you can do?

2MAR65 The weather was as fine can be for a mission. Orders were to get some pictures of what was left of a fuel depot after the Air Force hit it so we could send a mop up strike if needed. Also need to see what kind of AAA reaction there might be but it really shouldn't be too much. Launched at 1330 then turned onto course while gaining altitude. The plan being to give the Air Force guys a good head start and let them get in ahead before i made my move. So it was up to 20,000ft and wait for the right time. Everything was just like training so far, even if all i was doing was circling about 30 miles of the NV coast. It wasn't too much time before it was my turn. Nose down, throttle back, aiming for the right moment, distance, altitude and speed according to plan. Letting the plane go down until it was truely time for business. It was quite surprising to see just how sudden the NV reacted. As soon as i went feet dry SW of Haiphong they were already shooting. Sparse and inaccurate, but still coming up. As i neared Haiphong more AAA was being fired but it wasn't really bad, mainly low and behind, 37mm for the most part, some 85mm and a few 57mm tracers were seen. The turn towards the primary leg really had them missing badly and over the primary it wasn't bad at all even though they were blasting away. Speaking of the primary, on the way towards the target zero smoke was observed nor was any kind of fire as i closed in. Looks like the Air Force missed. Throughout my time over NV MIGs were up but they were no threat all all. I was moving too fast and low and for the most part, the AAA fire would have discouraged any threat from 6 o'clock for much of the mission. The final leg SW of Hanoi to the the sea was a snap. Was in the vicinity of multiple MIGs but they were onto the Air Force heading outbound down at three low mostly to my track so they were no threat. Finally it was feet wet SE of Thai Binh and back home with the film. All things considered, it was as smooth a mission as one could ask for.

what he said. you can ini edit for a hundred missiles hanging off the plane. but they wont sit right, may affect flight performance (because the weight of them is still represented), and most of us strive for more realism in the mod, so most questions like that are not met kindly or at all. SF2 is sim lite. it has limits to what you can carry and do unlike an arcade game (it aint Ace Combat). but you dont need to attend undergraduate pilot training just to turn the engines on either (it aint DCS). if you really want to add more, go into the knowledge base (SF1 and 2) and learn the old ways

The Fletcher class was a class of destroyers built by the United States during World War II. The class was designed in 1939, as a result of dissatisfaction with the earlier destroyer leader types of the Porter and Somers classes. Some went on to serve during the Korean War and into the Vietnam War. The United States Navy commissioned 175 Fletcher-class destroyers between 1942 and 1944. After World War II ended, 11 were sold to countries that they had been built to fight against: Italy, Germany, and Japan, as well as other countries, where they had even longer, distinguished careers. The 18 Forrest Sherman-class destroyers were the first US post-war destroyers (DD-927 to DD-930 were completed as destroyer leader configurations). Commissioned beginning in 1955, these ships served until the late 1980s. Their weaponry underwent considerable modification during their years of service. Four were converted to guided missile destroyers. This class also served as the basis for the Charles F. Adams-class guided missile destroyer. Two ships of the class have become museum ships, nine have been sunk in training exercises, and the others have been scrapped or are scheduled to be scrapped. CREDITS: - this is a SFP1 YAP ship, ported to SFP2 due Piecemeal interest (thank you mate!) so you need YAP (*) to run tihis mod, all credits to Yankee Air Pirate! INSTALL: (sorry some work to do) - extract the zip - take TurnerJoy.LOD in GroundObject/ForrestSherman folder from your Yap WoV install - make a copy calling it TurnerJoyColl.LOD - put them inside GroundObject/ForrestSherman extracted folder - put all in your main mod folder Enjoy! @paulopanz
