3 pointsJust in case everyone has forgotten the pandemic is still running rampant in the world, the milestone of 6 million dead worldwide was passed today, with the last million being tallied in the last 4 months by Johns Hopkins University. Here in the States, the estimates are that we'll surpass the 1 million dead mark in the very near future. For the record, and to put this in context, that's more than the population of these states: Wyoming (Population: 581,075) Vermont (Population: 623,251) Alaska (Population: 724,357) North Dakota (Population: 770,026) South Dakota (Population: 896,581) Delaware (Population: 990,334) 2022 World Population by Country (worldpopulationreview.com) In numbers close to home, that is the death of 2.55 times the entire population of where I live. And of course, now that things are "opening up" there are less people interested in getting vaccinated. Again, call me a pessimist, but with the relaxing of all official safeguards, and the propensity for people to forget/ignore/refuse to acknowledge the danger of something that's not "in their face", and people just want to "move on", I fear another deadlier strain is in the offing.

1 pointExtract from Wikipedia: Operational history[edit] The An-26 has a secondary bomber role with underwing bomb racks. The racks are attached to the fuselage in front of and behind the rear landing gear. In the bombing role it was extensively used by the Vietnam People's Air Force during the Cambodian–Vietnamese War and Sudanese Air Force during the Second Sudanese Civil War and the War in Darfur.[7] Russian Forces have also trained with the An-26 as a bomber.[8]

1 pointAnd the underside is done. I made the drop tanks the base color and didn't put any stuff on them, figuring that it probably doesn't make a difference. The glove pylons are also done in a base color since mapping is what may be sketchy. All in all it's pretty much done, and going to upload it since it's practically done.

Version 0.1.2
382 downloads
After nearly 6 years since my proof of concept experiments with the TOD files I'm ready to release a first version of the TODEditor (could almost be a nominee for the Duke Nukem Forever Award ). Main Features: Easy editing of TOD files: cut/copy/paste, moving and rotating of objects Import of object models files: *.lod, *.obj or *.3ds Warning: Use at your own risk. The TODEditor is currently in an early beta stage and can contain serious bugs. So, please backup your terrain files before you work with the TODEditor. I have warned you! The program is free for whatever use (commercial or personal). Installation: Extract the content of the zip package to a convenient location. The TODEditor depends on the Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 C++ libraries. If not already installed on the computer (e.g. by other applications) they have to be installed by running vcredist_x64.exe (you can find it in the redist subfolder of this package). Start the program by double click the todeditor.exe. For further information see TODEditor_readme.txt. Mue -
1 pointAnd let's bump up this thread with a few fresh screenies from the new year - I hope to find more free time in the future to return to modding occasionally for FE2 since this, I think, is still one of the best WW1 flight sims when fully modded. Graphics look fine, the FMs are in many ways more realistic/balanced than in RoF - and nothing beats the hands-on action of FE2 with its good AI. While the WOFF series may be the gold standard for campaigns, FE2 really is the go-to sim for quick combat or single missions. And where else can you fly the Morane Saulnier Type N (with the exception of the now ancient Red Baron II/3D). Happy flying all, Von S
