Honestly Kevin what I wish is to have a majority happy with the final decision, so it won't be , for sure, just an arbitrary, subjective one. I will pay attention to CombatAce members and veterans arguments, for each presented case. PS - So far, just to express an opinion (maybe there is someone curious what's on my mind LOL) my favorites in the runners list are Grumman S-2 and Canadair CL-215.

Very new here in the SF2 forum and would first like to say thank you to all the modders here. I am in awe at all that has been done with this wonderful combat flight simulator. If i'd known that SF2 was so moddable and easy to understand i'd gotten involved with SF2 long ago. Mainly a WW I and WW II guy, but the modern combat aircraft are a nice change. So all i can say is follow your passion and it always will show in your work. Thanks for the time and effort for others to enjoy . Regards,Scott

Hahaha Guys ! I'm a facebook addict , i must admit.Lol ! Don't watch tv but i guess fb is just as bad. Just trying there in the group section to spread the word about combat flight sims. i mainly hang out at sim-outhouse.com for my long interest in CFS3 and sas1946.com for my long interest in IL-2 1946. Now i have a new addiction and that is here at combat ace ! Wonderful place and much to learn. Love SF2 and sorry i'm a late bloomer ,totally love this series. The mods are mind blowing. So much to choose from ,i can really take up some hd space ! Can't believe i waited so long to get into SF2 ,but glad i finally did ! A modders dream ! Regards,Scott

As to say about aircraft i want to say that Tu-154 we can just convert from free FSX model from abandoned Project Tupolev. Easy cake but i dont see the reason to have comercial liners in a combat sim when we can not mark them as a neutral. And as to my aicrraft wishes i want X-32 this is damned ugliest aircraft I have ever seen in my life. I love it and i want to marry it

Well I was absent for a long period dealing with my own "in real life" problems but, at least for a while, I'll be hanging around here with you. What bird do you think should be next, if you caught my drift ? ;) Let me know what you're thinking ladies and gents, will you ?

night flight with a F-4E

At the request of one of our argentinian friends: Isla Martin Garcia Airport. First development stage. New tile is made by Satpicture. Still missing the TOD trees and buildings. The brown water is direct from sat photo, but it looks like a desert. I must change it. Its a very small airfield with a very short runway. After first testing i had to make the runway longer than on the tile. Its reaches now till to the small river in the north of the island. Its still a lot to do.

The winner is the Tracker, but should be great to have the early top radar and the late with different nacelles.

The best KI-84 is from YAP and for me is the BEST WWII plane available. Nor a single flaw. Simply perfect in all areas. Actually it´s a FILE404 plane.

A model with a proper cockpit is always a good addition. Two-seater Jaguar and Su-15 are very interesting ideas I admit the Mirage G8 would be great as well. The three aircrafts I've always dreamed of seeing in game : X-15 and X-15A2 F-94C Starfire F2Y Sea Dart Each one would be a challenging project for the ini aspect (I do ini). The rocket engines and speed of the X-15, the rockets setting of the F-94C and the hull of the F2Y. Ini-wise an X-wing would be fun to do. Any seaplane, just for the fun of making it "float" on the water, and taking-off and land anywhere. and : SE 5000 Baroudeur (land based jet fighter without landing gear) Boeing YC-14 Grumman S-2 Tracker / C-1 Trader / E-1 Tracer would be great for sure. We don't have an OV-1 Mohawk Ju-188 G4M Betty Ki-84 Hayate And talking about liners : Concorde Boeing 727 ( And, totally useless in game but worth a supersonic ride : Thrust SSC or Bloodhound SSC ) xD

Version 1.01 1) Fixed a tool tip text error in Workshops for airfield grass On and Off. 2) Addressed an issue that should now prevent users with very fast PCs sometimes seeing a blank screen when returning to main menu. 3) Addressed a Facility populate error on non-US PCs. 4) French Medals were missing - included in this patch. 5) River Locations on all Maps corrected. 6) Curtiss H-75A Model improvements: Reworked fuel cap area and rear glass. Thank you Julio -- yes I like the fire effect too (it is present in the ver. 10.5 FM update addon for the Strutters, but the fire effect disappears in the 10.6 "proof of concept" addon, by the way, which gives limited rpm control for some of the Strutter sub-types). Speaking of limited rpm control on the rotaries, I have in the meantime experimented further with that -- so far I have enabled limited rpm control from about 1000 to 1200 rpms on the Fokk. Eindeckers series I through III -- I will consider also including such tweaks to the Morane Bullet, also the Nieups. 11 through 27 or 28, and the early and "gaskammered" variants of the Fokk. Dr.1. Other types, such as very early ones and/or types with poorer reputations (M-S Type H, M-S Parasols, the Pfalz Eindeckers and Parasols, etc.), I will leave at default (fully on or off), for the sake of variety. Limited rpm control will also be applied to the early Camel and Clerget Camel, as well as to the early and later one-gun Tripe variants (the two-gun Tripe variant, also any other higher HP rotaries and Siemens-Halske types, such as later Pfalzes -- will be left with full throttle capabilities as previously tweaked). If interested, click on the pic. below to see a 10 min. clip of testing with the Fokk. E.III, and other relevant details. One of the changes I particularly like with limited rpm control implementation present is that there is nice wing bobbing now present just before the engine goes into the blip switch "on" spectrum -- nice representation of gyroscopic effects from the rotaries that way. Once you push further towards full throttle, within the limited rpm control band, the effects become smoother and wing bobbing less noticeable. The AI also takes advantage of the limited rpm control band for smoother landings. Bit busy with work currently but I hope to cover all of the changes in a few months -- and will release them as FM update pack version 11. Not realy. If you look at flight radar com you can see comercial liners at war zones. not many but sometimes. only when absolutely crazy killers and criminals are at war is the air traffic completely blocked. Mean tacticks. We are, everybody present on this forum are not mean people, and will not attack civilian They will be generated as a RECON mission's aircrafts by the game engine and will be sent in a center of hell. Thats not pleasant to fly and see that your target of a mission to shoot a Tu-154 civilian aircraft. for example. Even if you will not do it your pack will. Tomcats will fireing with AIM-54 Phoenix peeew! peeew! peeeew! across the map from one far corner to another far corner. I'm not against the Tu-154 in the game. who wants them in the game let him install . I just said my opinion. The more planes the better. It would be great if we were given the source codes of the game and we could register neutral aircraft. And so that for the downing of a passenger liner, the game would give you to the tribunal and the game would erase all your achievements. Then it would make sense in passenger airliners. But TW don't want to give us a game code as a gift. as ID Software did it with their Quake

any commercial airliner in a warzone wont be neutral. The US gives alot of charter business to companies on condition that in a war time call up a percentage of their fleet and crews will become auxillaries (was used in 90-91 and again in 03). thats passenger and cargo with some converted for medevac. It is officially known as Civil Reserve Airlift Fleet or CRAF. Aeroflot was always a dual entity. a short Google search will show paratroopers loading up on Aeroflot IL-76s. they werent flying first class not sure on other European nations (east or west) but safe to say the airlines would be pressed into service. as i mentioned elsewheres, ther is a BLUE Airliner nation. mainly made to create an airliner formation. wouldn't be too big a stretch to make a RED airliner nation.

It would be great to have a decent model of B-747 cargo with extra tanker mod (at least with fake pilot), S-2 Tracker for numerous campaigns and beautiful CL-215 Canadair, you will agree. Guys, I hope someone will at least consider, a converted version of the MiG-19 Farmer, because we have a good MiG-15 from Capun, we also have a converted MiG-17. Since the MiG-21 project is going slow but progressively, with new Su-17, which I hope to see in my lifetime.

I took the stock Leopard1A4 tank and gave it a new skin. Its hard to believe, that a little bit paint can change the apperance of a very simple LOD so much. And this is the old Leopard 1A5 LOD made by Gabilon in 2005 with a new skin for the Ukraine terrain:

The FG was followed by a 3 digit number (the 3 last of the serial) in Hellenic F-104 Gs. It should have been FG-691 most probably. NO REPOST OF OTHER PEOPLE PICS, also need a pic on your own!

Some days ago i found the old Leopard 2A1 made by Kesselbrut on my HD. I thought, why not using this old LOD to make a Leo 2A4, which we will see in the Ukraine in some weeks. So i gave it an other skin. So it looks: But i was not satisfied. Thatswhy today i made an other skin: It's astonishing what a skin can do for such a very simple LOD. I also reworked the data.ini. I changed the armour values to make them more accurate. For this i divided the hull into two parts, because in a real tank the upper frontal armour plate has a different thickness than the lower armour plate. For the Leo 2 A4 i gave the upper plate 300 mm steele and the lower plate 200 mm. Then i made similar changes for the russian T-72B and the ukrainian T-72M1. I will test this panzer pack for the Ukraine for some days and then i will release them. And tomorrow i will go back to Rio de la Plata Bay terrain and will start to build the argentinan air base Mar del Plata.
