4 pointsWork so far. I may not be able to show the process but this is what you get with good, efficient mapping of a model. It was relatively painless getting it done too:
-
4 pointsNew HFD and TFD's awaiting approval. One day I might get round to completely redoing this terrain.........I've learned a lot since it's initial release.
-
3 pointsStarting it. Since my computer doesn't have a print screen button (you know right? Amazing) I finally figured out how to use LODviewer to refresh the skin so I don't have to get back into the game and back again. Anyway here's an initial lay of the orange line:

3 pointsIAI Arava windows are done, Now i need to actually figure out what to do with the model and how to make the windows transperent
-
3 pointsHi EricJ, have you considered making the USNTPS skin for the F/A-18F? I have come across pictures of just 4 aircraft in that scheme, numbered 00, 01, 02, 03 (00 is in the picture above).

1 pointPity if that happens, be another lost sale for TK, and a pissoff customer. Great for the advertising for the whole family of sims. Pony: did you get a download link? Last time I bought something from 3W store (albeit a LONG time ago), I got the ability to download the item right way, and never needed an access code. Just downloded, and ran the installer

1 pointdon't forget people, you can always find the location by turning debug ON in the HUDData ini. Extract it from the FlightDataCat (iirc), drop it into the /Flight folder, and do this to the first section: [Debug] //DisplayDebug=FALSE DisplayDebug=TRUE you can easily turn it off in-game, by hitting alt-d twice (or is it 3 time???) you can also remove the annyoing background "box" round all text by scrolling down further and doing this: [InfoDisplay] //BackgroundImage=TextBackground.tga BottomLeftPosition=0.01,0.985 BottomRightPosition=0.99,0.985 DisplayWidth=0.20 VerticalBorder=0.0015 HorizontalBorder=0.008 EnemyTargetColor=1.0,0.0,0.0,1.0 FriendlyTargetColor=0.0,0.0,1.0,1.0 UnknownTargetColor=1.0,1.0,0.0,1.0 WaypointColor=1.0,1.0,1.0,1.0 TextFile=HUDText.str NormalColor=1.0,1.0,1.0,1.0 WarningColor1=1.0,1.0,0.0,1.0 WarningColor2=1.0,0.0,0.0,1.0 AGLAltStart=609.6 AGLAltWarning=152.4 then, it's a simple matter to note down the area of interest. See the screenshot below for an example

Heinkel HE-111-H The Heinkel He 111 was a German bomber aircraft designed by Siegfried and Walter Günter at Heinkel Flugzeugwerke in 1934. Through development it was described as a "wolf in sheep's clothing". Junkers JU-88 A1 The Junkers Ju 88 was a German World War II Luftwaffe twin-engined multirole combat aircraft. Designed by Junkers Flugzeug- und Motorenwerke (JFM) in the mid-1930s to be a so-called Schnellbomber ("fast bomber") which would be too fast for any of the fighters of its era to intercept, it suffered from a number of technical problems during the later stages of its development and early operational roles, but became one of the most versatile combat aircraft of the war. Like a number of other Luftwaffe bombers, it was used successfully as a bomber, dive bomber, night fighter, torpedo bomber, reconnaissance aircraft, heavy fighter and even, during the closing stages of the conflict in Europe, as a flying bomb. Despite its protracted development, the aircraft became one of the Luftwaffe's most important assets. The assembly line ran constantly from 1936 to 1945, and more than 16,000 Ju 88s were built in dozens of variants, more than any other twin-engine German aircraft of the period. Throughout the production, the basic structure of the aircraft remained unchanged. aircraft model: Veltro2k cockpit: Kesselbrut pilot model by Geo, gunner model: Capun destroyed aircraft model:Capun flight model, aircraft texture and decals: Charles install in Objects/aircraft folder THIS MODEL IS ONLY TO BE DISTRIBUTED AS FREEWARE AND IN NO OTHER CIRCUMSTANCE SHALL IT BE USED, EVEN IN PART OF ANYTHING THAT IS PAYWARE.IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE COMBAT ACE MODDERS AGREEMENT -

SF2 WW2 MTO Ju-87 Stuka Pak -- Something for the WW2 MTO players -- = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) = *There is a distinct possibility this mod may work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs. However, due to some of the modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment, all the features will NOT be working as designed. Those that choose to attempt this, do so at their own risk, as NO support will be available.* This is a FULL aircraft package to create MTO versions of the Ju-87B and Ju-87R as re-released by Baffmeister & myself. Plus, the Italian version is included with the Ju-87B; you just choose "Reggia Aeronatica" on the nations selection drop down, and you'll have the correct skin! *** REMEMBER -- this set is designed for MTO use ONLY!! Also, it's reccomended you remove/delte/move any other MTO-style Stukas from you MTO-centric mods folder. This package is built to COMPLETLY replace any eariler versions. *** In this pak you'll find bits for... Ju-87B: 2/StG1 (overall 'sand') StG1 (standard Euro splinter *note-may NOT be historically accurate!*) StG2 (sand/dark green splinter) 236 Squadriglia, 96 Gruppo (Reggia Aeronatica) * *replaces the 'nationalized' Ju-87B_RA from 1stGen* Ju-87R: 4/StG2 (darkgreen/dark sand splinter) Also, MTO specific data ini and userlist (when needed). Most skins are new, as are several decal sets. Some decals are still the originals, from 'way back when. All skins are in jpg format, and decal randomization is TRUE. As an Extra Added Bonus, for those wanting it, the Famous Snake Marking is included as a sperately named Body.jpg in the STG2 skin. A simple rename of the Body and snake-body will keep the original, and allow usage of the Snake one. Weapons, guns, drop tanks, pilot figures and sounds etc are included! So are Hangar and Loading screens (where applicable). As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. Any original Release Readmes from the 1stGen versions I could find are included, for hysterical purposes, as is Baff's readme from the ETO Stuka pak. SF2 WW2 Focke Wulf FW-190F Jabo Pak -- Something for the WW2 ETO players -- = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged ( Full-5 Reccomended/Preferred) = *There is a possibility that this mod may work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs. However due to the excessive modifications made to fit into the SF2 environment, not all features will be avaliable.* *Note X2: this mod is designed for use =ONLY= in the ETO envrionment.* Mods, rebuilds, reskining/redecaling for Wolf's FW-190. This is the next of a series of FW-190 upgrades, that will cover those models (while still based off Wolf's original LOD), that were/are available from the 1stGen SF/Wo* mods previously released. With required upgrades for SF2. This mod is designed to REPLACE any 1stGen variant you may have in your WW2 ETO/MTO intalls. It is reccomended you delete the aircraft and decals folders of the originals, as to NOT cause any conflicts with THIS mod. This package contains 2 variants of the FW-190F as deployed in Western/Southern Europe, and North Africa/Med regions. Skins/Decals in this pak are: 9/SG4 (Western Europe, crica 1944) I-SG4 (MTO desert camo, as based on Sardinia) *Please note, you should =NOT= mix/match the ETO and MTO skins in an ETO only install (or MTO only install). See 'Special Install Notes' for further instructions* All Skins are in jpg format, and decal randomization is set to TRUE. A (semi) compliant SF2 FM was cobbled together from various sources. As always, while it works quite well, further fine tuning is required by Experten. Sounds, pilot figures and weapons are included, as well a new SF2 version of my "box art" Hangar and/or Loading screens. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! Also, the "Notes" section for other important stuff of interest. When discoverable, all original readmes are included for historical purposes. *Due to the age of the physical model (LOD), this mod is being released "as is"; PLEASE see the Notes section for more info* Happy Landings! wrench kevin stein
