i updated my old 8gb grafics card to a 12gb Gigabyte RTX 3060 but on some terrains i still run in to problems, actually there are only 2 terrains that causes problems that is the Anatolia terrain ( final version ) and the Germany CE from Rents ( final version ) on this 2 terrains i have problems even with stock aircrafts not to mention with heavily modded ones all other terrains work fine , i have some early versions of this 2 terrains and they work better but sometimes even this early versions causing problems my flight engine ini is set up to have trees / buildings visible up to the horizon i´m using Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD5H mainbord Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Gaming OC LHR 12 GB Intel Core I7-4790K 4 x 4.00 GHz G.Skill 32 GB Ram DDR3-1333 Windows 7 pro 64 bit so it is a old computer but i´m happy with it , and for all the guys who are telling me that Windows 7 is no longer supported , i still get regular updates from Microsoft thats my FlightEngine.ini settings [GraphicsSettings] ZBufferDepth=24 MaxVertexCount=16384 MaxIndexCount=32768 MaxTextureCount=4096 MaxModelType=2024 MaxMeshPerScene=4096 MaxModelPerScene=2024 MaxLightPerScene=256 AspectRatio=1.333333 MinPixelSize=1.0 [BackgroundSceneClip] FarClipDistance=80000.0 NearClipDistance=3000.0 [ForegroundSceneClip] FarClipDistance=14000.0 NearClipDistance=0.45 [InsideSceneClip] FarClipDistance=250.0 NearClipDistance=0.01 [LowDetailOption] HorizonDistance=30000.0 DetailMeshSize=2 DetailLevel=0 WaterEffect=0 NoiseTexture=0 MaxTextureRes=128 [MedDetailOption] HorizonDistance=52000.0 DetailMeshSize=2 DetailLevel=1 WaterEffect=1 NoiseTexture=0 MaxTextureRes=256 [HighDetailOption] HorizonDistance=60000.0 DetailMeshSize=14 DetailLevel=2 WaterEffect=2 NoiseTexture=1 MaxTextureRes=512 [UnlimitedDetailOption] HorizonDistance=72000.0 DetailMeshSize=19 DetailLevel=2 WaterEffect=2 NoiseTexture=1 MaxTextureRes=-1 and that is the result from that setting , you have trees up to the horizon , and yes that may have something to do that the Anatolia and the Germany CE terrain from Rents is not working well on my computer but i dont like this near clipping where trees or buildings are popping up out of nowhere , this picture is from the North Vietnam terrain , the area with the red arrows is enlarged on the top of the picture so it is up to you , if you want the Anatolia terrain and the Germany CE terrain from Rent to work in your game you have to reduce a lot of this settings and accept the near clipping distance and that objects pop up from nowhere ( basically the original TW settings ) or you modify your FlightEngine.ini and you game Detail settings and use the other terrains available , its your choice aaahhhh...... or buy a super / new computer that may help as well the grapihc card alone will not solve your problems as you can see with my RTX 3060 , i still have the problems

VMAQ-2,right? This reminds me of a time, probably about fifteen years ago, when I bought a model of EA-6 that came with a Playboy watermark stickerThat was the second model I made, ended up giving it away as a gift.

I personally don't think A3 is that bad, and some DLCs like the helo, and Marksman were good, and I like playing it still, and when A4 comes out I'll be moving to that depending on how it works out, but good to know.

OFFtopic: The ArmA series is the game of my life. I started with Operation Flashpoint, then I moved on to ArmA2+OA, where I have thousands of hours, created mods, servers... for me, it's the perfect MilSim game. When A3 came out, I bought all the DLCs and was super excited, only to be deeply saddened, because, in my opinion, they ruined the game. The graphics were obviously a huge improvement over OA, and the Workshop was an innovation, but other than that, the gameplay and storyline, I found horrible. They tried to make ArmA more palatable to FPS players like BF and CoD, and I didn't like that. I went to play Reforger without high expectations, and to my surprise, it's basically an A2 brought to 2024, obviously with its limitations, after all, it's just a "test mule" for A4.

F-86D Sabre Dog Basic modding skills are required to run this mod. (copy/paste, mod folder structure, etc.) Install: Copy and paste specific folders into the correct destination. Make a backup copy of your files if you have a similar mod already on your PC, you might not like this one. A fake pilot is required to run this mod. A new model of F-86D and IF-86D as used by the Yugoslav Air Force In the game, you will find it under the prefix JRV All skins are in 3072x3072 format. You can easily resize as needed. If needed I can provide it in 4096 format. Decals represent historically correct serial numbers assigned to aircraft during their service in the YugoslavAir Force. There is one issue that I do not like and that might bother someone too, but I will attempt to fix this as soon as I have more available references. The issue is that amid 130 delivered F-86D around 30 (32) were converted into reconnaissance version. And around 30 were designated for spare parts upon delivery. Serial numbers that cover "spare parts airframes" are easy to determine, and those serial numbers were removed from whole serials /decals/numbers. Unfortunately finding which of the 98 operational airframes were converted into a recon version is nearly impossible (I was able to find two numbers among 32). So in the game, you will have 98 airframe serial numbers for F-86D (a little less for the 1968 camouflaged skin set) and 32 for IF-86D... while those 32 serials of IF-86D should be subtracted from those 98. This mod is no longer using a fake rocket tray gun. Now thanks to sudden enlightenment it works as stock Lightning F.1 Credits. The model is new but some parts are based on Zur's F-86H which I was able to work on previously with Wrench. Yours truly - model rework, mambo jumbo like skins, decals, research... strahi - help with skins and research. Weapons Mk4 Might Mouse by Ravenclaw. additional SAB-100 illumination bomb but made as free falling parachuted rocket. Have fun. Report bugs. * Expect the unexpected. Live long and prosper. Jarek Hereda THIS MODEL IS ONLY TO BE DISTRIBUTED AS FREEWARE AND IN NO OTHER CIRCUMSTANCE SHALL IT BE USED, EVEN IN PART OF ANYTHING THAT IS PAYWARE. UNDER THE COMBAT ACE MODDERS AGREEMENT * report BIG bugs...If I misspelled something or forgot to add a sound file...for dog's sake try to fix it. Mod of the superb Mirage 4000 to make it look like a fictional fighter plane for the indian air force. INSTRUCTIONS 1. Drop the folders into your Mod folder. If asked to overwrite, click yes. CREDITS Big Thanks to all the people involved (see original credits) in the creation of this superb mod. Also thanks to Logan4 for allowing me to release it. ORIGINAL CREDITS taken from Logan4's Mirage 4000P & PB This aircraft mod represents Dassault's what-if Mirage 4000P fighter and its trainer PB variant in the Portugese Air Force service. This package comes with 1 skin set for each variant, with decals for P (14 planes), and for PB (6 planes). Also it is dedicated to our friend Cocas who put his work and time to bring us many of the rare or experimental aircraft in this game series and originally created the base model for this plane. This model is meant for SF2 games only, SF1 variants will be uploaded at the SF1 section. Install is the regular dropping the contents in their respective places. In case you have the prototype or French A and B variants you can skip the overwrite prompt of weapons as those 6 items are identical. Please note: The model can be quite heavy on FPS in large formations on weaker machines, so if required, either resize skin files or use lower lods(_nd,001,002,003) as lod1. The model uses the general french and NATO weapons, either as part of weapon packs or the Mirage 2000 family. Important: The PB variant comes with 2 types of cockpit, the basic setup will use a simple pit that has only the pilots cabin instrumented. The other is a fully modeled front and rear compartment, in which you want to fly you should activate the proper line in the AC's.ini file. CockpitDataFile=Mirage4000PB_Cockpit.ini <---- basic setup ;CockpitDataFile=Mirage4000PB_Cockpit_full1.ini <------ front seat ;CockpitDataFile=Mirage4000PB_Cockpit_full2.ini <------ rear seat Be aware - the piloting seat position can not be changed during/in game, so chose wisely! Make sure to read the manual included with the package. ---------------------- Creators of these Aircraft mods as members of CombatAce site: Original 3D work: Cocas Aircraft 3d update and additional changes: Logan4 Cockpit 3d work: Logan4 Aircraft FM: Cliff7600 Aircraft avionics: Loborojo, Cliff7600, logan4 Skin files and decals: Flogger23, Cliff7600, logan4, loborojo Cockpit files: Logan4, Cliff7600 Thanks to Crusader for additional brochure files Big thanks to members of CombatAce for helping and answering our questions and in sorting out some of the issues we got while creating this mod. Hi! The idea of creating a T.A.R.G.E.T profile for the T.16000M + TWCS Throttle combination to use with the Strike Fighters 2 series was born from the following desires: - Since I fly with the 'hard' FM setting, I wanted to have a working trimming system that wasn't the half-working workaround that can be done by editing the controller settings in Default.INI. - I also wanted to be able to play with the joystick curves to find the sweet spot for controllability and responsiveness. (This is still work in progress, curves are still linear for the time being.) - I wanted to be able to use shifted buttons, so I don't have to rely on the awkwardly placed buttons on the base of the T.16000M. - I wanted specific actions to only activate on long button presses, so I couldn't activate them accidentally. Because of the need for a trim system outside the simulator itself, instead of a normal T.A.R.G.E.T configuration (created by using the GUI), I've decided on writing a T.A.R.G.E.T script from scratch. This decision also opened the gates before adding more features and further customization in the future. This is the 1.0 version of my script, meaning that it's the first complete, fully working release. It's got all the basic features I wanted to implement, along with the working trim system, and two countermeasures (chaff/flare) programs. The axis curves are still linear for now, since I didn't yet have the time to tinker with and test them. All the needed information is in the README.txt file. I hope some of you will have a use for this and will enjoy it! Cheers!
