7 pointsI have finished now the converting the JPG to TGA files for Guernsey island. It is not perfect, but good enough, i think. The only thing, what me angered are the slight differences between the blue of the sea tiles and the blue of the coastal tiles of the islands. I tried to solve that problem, but i failed.

The UTVA 75 is a light utility aircraft produced by the Yugoslav aircraft manufacturer UTVA. It was first introduced in the late 1970s and has since been used primarily for training, reconnaissance, and light transport roles. Known for its reliability and versatility, the UTVA 75 has been adopted by several military and civilian operators around the world. This Project was carried out with Anunk47 assistance.🦅 Enjoy, I wish you good hunting. -

4 pointsI won't comment on the "eternal friends" thing here, I think the ridicule itself is not from an objective perspective, but... I don't know, maybe simply pride. Besides Su-57, I can see a lot of discussions about "under electronic warfare conditions, both the J-10 and J-11 can easily destroy the F-22 fleet", etc. To me, this is complete nonsense, but if someone refutes it, they will "become" "traitor". They are not laughing at "friends", but they are just looking down on everyone. We can see that the mysterious east has indeed been advancing at an astonishing speed in the past 10 more years, there are many surprising achievements, she is strong indeed, so much so that a few people have forgotten that objective facts need to be viewed objectively. I mean, many comments are not based on objective facts, but on positions, it's not fair, and most of them are just kids, we don’t need to pay too much attention to them. ======== Again something from Zhuhai too:

1 pointIf you have it, you may have to modify your SOUNDLIST.ini to include the new sound. The Readme may mention that, whichever sound it is, but @GKABS can chime in though since it's his mod.

1 pointView File SF2 Tu-16 Badger Pack by Pasko SF2 Tu-16 Badger Pack by Pasko 11/1/2024 -For SF2, Full 5 Merged REQUIRED. Must Have SF2:NA!!!!!) -Another 1stGen Salvage Operation- This is a revamp of Pasko's Tu-16 Badger(s) from SF1 to SF2 "standards". This package contains the 3 variants of the Badger he and his team created 'way back in 2005. As stated above, a full-5 merged install is required; or at =LEAST= having SF2:NA in the merged install. This is because the Cruise Missile versions use the stock 3W cruise missiles (Although I've supplied the early versions). The 3 aircraft included herein are ... Tu-16 Badger-A (free fall bombs only) Tu-16K-10-26 Badger C (cruise missiles only; 1 centerline, 2 wing mounted) Tu-16G Badger K (2 cruise missiles, wing mounted only) A cockpit is supplied for each, with a working bombsight for the standard bomber. (See notes about the issues flying bombers in SF2). All weapons, execpting the KS-1 & KSR-2 missiles are stock 3W items (FAB, RBK, K10S). All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. All new Hangar and Loading screens have also been included, for you enjoyment. The aircraft are supplied with a number skins for the varying Air Force users. Some (re)use their original 1stGen decals, with a slight repaint to stop any 'fuzziness'. Many decals used (for Middle East and Soviet birds) are stock items. You'll get: Tu-16A: Soviet Silver Ukraine Silver (<1991) Egypt AF Silver (<1966) Iraq Silver (<1973) Indonesia Silver (<1961) PLAAF China Sliver (<1959) Iraq Green Stripe Camo (<1978)* Iraq Sand/Green Camo (<1980)* Tu-16C: Soviet Naval Aviation Silver (blue borts) Tu-16G: Soviet Naval Aviation Silver (blue borts) As indicated above, you can see the the SF2 "date switch" is active. The star (*) tagged above indicates these years are "best guess". When possible the original readme for all skins are within each skin folder, and notes are sometimes made on the textureset.ini. The PLAAF bird only gets 24 bort number decals, which are (hopefully!) historically correct and nearly the right color blue <grin>! Pilot figures are also included. For exact in-game usage for the C & G models, I'd suggest giving their data inis a looksee, as they have several Secondary Roles to fulfill. When in-game, on the Aircraft Selection Drop down you'll see: Tu-16 Badger-A (Pasko) Tu-16K-10-26 Badger C (Pasko) Tu-16G Badger K (Pasko) The (Pasko) differentializes these from the stock 3W Badgers (and any mods thereof). So you can't mistook them for anything other than what they is. As always fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. All original readmes, when discoverable, are included. The 'Change Log' is of course, in the Notes section below. Good Hunting & Happy Landings! 1 pointit works with LGB , EO bombs and with anti radiation missiles , but you have to be close enough to select a target only with a selected target it works with anti radiation missiles you have to wait until you have a selected target that is actually detecting you , then put your gun sight towards the target and fire as soon as the shoot lights go on it does not work with normal bombs and LGB weapons have a Seeker Range far further than the actual bomb can glide , so to get a hit you have to wait until you are within the limits of the bomb and not within the limits of the seeker , same goes for EO-bombs
-
1 pointafter all this years and searching finally a solution to my problem , the Mirage III has a cockpit function i was not aware of that it even exist in SF2 , the WEAPON_SHOOT_CUE , i will try that right away and hope it works the way i wont it to thank you for that hint , you made my day
-
1 pointAH YES! I remember now, the diamond that appear inside the box. In SF2, I believe it is part of Avionics70.DLL You are genius! I am going going through various aircraft that have 'shoot cue'. I am going to test with both Avionics60 and 70 DDLL and the codes within both. Finger crossed. Cheers!
-
1 pointThe old Jane's sims used the diamond HUD symbol for all huds if i remember correctly... Can you modify the SF2 NA avoinics?
-
1 pointThat means, adding or editing instructment is out of questions, therefore I need to look into editing HUD instead and see fi Ican find a way to add "shoot cue" for IRM. Thank you for the notes about the requirement of editing max file for instructment.
-
1 pointTaht is noted. I want to add, I think I remember that in Mirage III series, there is light on right part of HUD, on the frame. When SARH and IR get lock on, green light goes on. I thikn it works with IRM too? We could look into Mirage III cockpits too.
-
1 pointthe resolution seems wonky with your new screens the terrains actually look much better, but your jets now look squished ------- meanwhile, finally pulled into Homestead just in time to see the boss head out

1 pointHe mentioned the older missiles, and I'm sure the aircraft are like the F-4 and so on, where it doesn't do that if I'm not mistaken, so he would need the audio cue. I mean he'll just have to pray when he fires I guess.
-
1 pointdon't forget, you'll also need access to the cockpit MAX files to change things. Anything "physical" in the displays, with few exceptions, needs the ability to edit the LOD in MAX
-
1 pointso, who wants to tell them we don't even HINT at any types of piracy? Grounds for perma-banning You want a better model, build one. That's how it works
-
1 pointDude, what about the old school "lock on" diamond? Make it "shake" when growling, then make it "soild" when its locked on... Falcon
-
1 pointthe only thing that we have would be the "Shoot Light" (RADAR_IN_RANGE_INDICATOR) unfortunately it works only with SHAM or AHM missiles , i´m looking my self to get this "Shoot Light" working with IRM missiles but so far no luck dont know if there is a way with the avionics.ini to achieve the desired effect , maybe Crusader or any other avionics specialist could help here

1 pointthe kick i'm getting out of Zuhai is the Chinese reaction to the Su-57 someone in the west hates on it and "we are F-35 fanbois" or hate anything Russian. so what now, now that the "eternal friends" are laughing at it too? semi appropriate screenie for topic

1 pointSomething pretty new from Zhuhai Airshow 2024,still waiting for more information, I may make one for SF2. It looks like a fold-fins variant which probably would let J-20/35 carry 6 round in their bay(now is 4 with PL-15), but its name conflict with former export type of PL-15.

This mod is kind of expansion and update to the SF2 community about PLAAF weapons,to comply with modern generation standards 1.What's included: Air to Air: PL-5B/E/E2 -- IRM (SRAAM,like AIM-9L/M) PL-10 --IRM (SRAAM,like R-74M2/AIM-9X B2) PL-12/A -- AHM (BVRAAM,like R-77/AIM-120C5) PL-15 -- AHM (BVRAAM,like AIM-120D P3) PL-17 -- AHM (BVRAAM/LREW,like R-37M/AIM-174B) Air to Ground/Surface AKD-20 -- ASM (ALCM,like Tomahawk) AKD-88A -- ASM (ASM,like AGM-84) AKD-88B -- ASM (ASM,like AGM-84) AKF-88C -- ASM (ALCM/ASM,like AGM-84G SLAM-ER) AKF-98A -- ASM (ALCM,like AGM-158C) GB-6 (AT anti-tank/AR anti-runway) -- EOGR (SOW,like JSOW) 2. Notes: You can see multiple folders ending with name of GX/XL in Weapons folder. They correspond to inert training models, similar to CATM in the US Air Force. To prevent the game system from spawning them in combat missions, I set them to "invisible". You need to call add thier names in Loadout.ini if you need them. 3. Usage: Unzip and copy Objects and Effects folders into the game installation directory; 4.Credits: (1) Sky Train: Original model texture (PL-10/PL-12/PL-15/KD-88 series/GB-6/AKF-98A); (2) BF2_Pilot: Original model texture (AKD-20); (3) Me: Original model texture (PL-17); (3.5) Me again: Further modeling and data, animation, visual effect modification; 5.Special thanks to: Their program helped me get reasonable weapon range: (1)AcariaPlainum: https://combatace.com/files/file/18280-dzap-missile-launch-simulator-program/ (2)Guest: https://combatace.com/files/file/10592-missile-range-simulator/?tab=reviews Extra Special thanks to the following friends for generously sharing the cost of purchasing the GB-6 model @murmansk @T'Ilacis @CAportingbot @pigboy @Carmen @TuyingShehuyan ======================================== This mod is only released in CombatACE and cannot be used for any commercial activities! -

1 pointIn the last days i was busy with TOD object placement on the tiles. Its a boring and time consuming job to move the trees and houses to the correct position. Some went good, some other things not. So i was never really happy with the TOD buildings for the London tiles. So i made a new one, but, to be honest, it looks more like soviet town flat blocks than London row houses. In the background you see the TOD building, which are original on the London tiles.
