5 pointsThat's Farsi Island, Iranian territorial waters. I added it back in late 2023 following a request by fellow Crusader. It was quite a strategic place during the Tanker War of the 1980s between Iran and Iraq. The ODS 30AE mod also offers to fly over nice recreations of Failaka Island in Kuwait and of famous Kharg Island in Iran, both reproduced by fellow @tiopilotos.

3 pointsJust FYI, I was working on a rework of all F-35 variants with a friend. I still have the WIP folder on my HDD. Similarly to the recently released Eurofighter add-on, it features new cockpit textures, new skins for other countries like Italy, reworked sounds, data and more accurate loadouts. The FMs need a lot of work though. I may be able to look at it again over the weekend, if there's any interest.

3 pointsSome photos of the Mig Ye-8s. Some of them are officially presented as "F-7 144" and the propaganda claims they were made in China... MiG Ye-8 MF #71 MiG Ye-8 MS #91 Ye-8 MS vs CF-105 #85 F-7 144 between the suns of Dhimar The parani night invaders sometimes have the opportunity to sunbathe at night. #148 #155 #152 MiG Ye-8 MLK vs F-101B, both aircrafts collided and were lost.

2 pointsTBH I lost interest, because we'd need more accurate F-35 models and cockpits. Especially the cockpit, me and my friend have reworked the textures entirely, but I cannot improve upon its functionalities and overall look even after several .ini tricks to most of the cockpit's 3d model nodes. At the same time this is what we have, so it would be a pity to leave in the dust what we've done so far. If I get enough help in making such an "F-35 complete collection" package with accurate skins and decals for all countries, count me in! Absolutely not! If you and @daddyairplanes are already working on F-35s, I'd say let's join forces and make this thing happen. I'll be sending a PM.

2 pointsAs others have already noted, this is the first time Boeing has won a contract for a clean-sheet jet fighter design. I have quite a lot of skepticism, such a multi-billion contract for a company which has had some serious debacles in past years, from poor quality standards of commercial airliners and related hundreds of deaths, to the Starliner failure. Its military wing being mostly inherited from McDonnell Douglas, let's hope the F-47 will have reasons to be remembered for successes rather than failures.

2 pointsIt's the newest ODS Terrain, and I'm not sure what the island name is...but every time I fly over it, it's a fantastic view. There are other islands out there before you go feet dry as well, and the view is fascinating.

2 pointsWe hope you enjoy your flight (sometimes, you just need to thank the 3d artists)

2 pointsProgress is coming along pretty nicely! for [CLASSIFIED] I decided on choosing vanilla SF2 model style for good performance and decent visual fidelity... off the top of my head the main things left for the mesh itself are Landing Gears I'm open to suggestions for any ways to improve this model currently its hovering around 4000 triangles not too much i know but hopefully textures would make it look that much better :) final count is probably going to be around 6k

2 pointstheres a few (but yes very few) opfor aircraft for it to square off against, in particular Chinese jets.anytime a Su-57 goes public round here, it seems to be the work of a Felon (pun very much intended) Allen, the Liberty Wing now has two stealth squadrons, the 93rd retired its Eagles and gained -35s. the 492d and 494th still fly Mud Hens overall, checking the waters here. havent fully made up my mind one way or another yet, the Flying Tigers were meant as a brief side project. not the start of another rabbit hole (although much shallower this one is)

1 pointhell, im toying with just the skins. not sure i want to dig deep into the ini's. not to mention im not a practitioner of the dark art of flight modeling that said, i am going thru online and scrubbing serials for units from 2019 onward. theres currrently about 21 squadrons id'd between now and 2030, of which 8 have yet to get jets. 5 already have skins but from at least 3-4 years ago and some serials are changing (looking at 388th FW) i probably will wind up doing a skin pack, i just dont want to admit it right now

Sundowner's EF-4C Phantom II, Wild Weasel IV this mod represents the F-4Cs that were modified to perform the Wild Weasel mission in the very early 1970s as they flew over Vietnam, then after Vietnam and into the beginning of the 1980s with the Indiana Air National Guard Included Three complete aircraft highlighting the Vietnam, post Nam and Indiana Air Guard era's of this aircrafts career Credits Sundowner 2 new EF-4C model with all relevant parts built in, new F-4_MER rack daddyairplanes research, new skins and decals. ini edits unknown author who did the original 67th TFS decals. i used roughly half of them, but neither Sundowner nor Wrench can recall who's they originally were cSomers611, nightshadeP/R test team a special thanks to Nyghtfall: my original request was for a new fakepilot model similar to the original mod Nyghtfall came through in spades with a beautiful fake pilot model. The same day he sent that to me however, Sundowner sent a full up model with all parts including the permanent strike cam in the Sparrow bay. While I went with Sundowners approach instead, i still highly appreciate Nyghtfall taking the time to assist my original request. 1 point"In other news, development on the Bleriot XI is now in its later stages " Best news I've had in a while. Thank you for the update.

1 pointI continue to fly FE2 semi-regularly, time permitting. I usually switch back-and-forth between modded FE2 and my hybridized WoFF install (backport of PE-era terrains and BH&H2 aircraft into WoFF.exe version 4.18, the last "deadly trees and fences" edition of WoFF). Have also been spending the last year or so tinkering with some FM mods for FlightGear, and terrain/FPS optimization tweaks -- see this link if interested in what is going on there. I also did a few experiments with photo-scenery and FE2, with samples available under this thread. I will consider experimenting further with that -- since I like the ground tile improvements that it offers. In other news, development on the Bleriot XI is now in its later stages -- I however don't know about the specifics of the project since I am no longer involved in its day-to-day doings (the FM is done for the aircraft, by the way). If interested in details about the Bleriot XI project, possible release dates, etc. -- recommended is to contact the developer of the 3D model (Swambast) directly. Cheers all,
