6 pointsShort answer: No. It was designed for systems from 2002, it's first release. SF2 just changed a bit of coding for Win 7. Mostly graphical, with few "other changes" (there's an old thread around somewhere here, that explains most of the changes/upgrades.) My experience is no issues with Win 10 or now 11 on the new machine. Everything maxed out (the new machine) well over 100 fps. Of course, it is a desktop. I think we should consider ourselves VERY lucky the damn thing runs at all in 10 & 11; given the complete and utter lack of support from the manufacturer. If it weren't for the modders, it would have faded away.

6 pointsThank you, my dear friends, for your kindness and support. I really appreciate it and I look forward to coming to my second home when I can, Combatace, to read your posts; they are so comforting and uplifting. Yes, indeed, it was, but it wasn't all chemotherapy; it was switching between chemotherapy and saline solution over 16 hours, from 5 PM to the following morning. I went to the bathroom more than 15 times—then I stopped counting! 😂 I feel about 75% recovered from chemotherapy, strength-wise. I look forward to the end of the treatment and, inshallah, the good news after the doctor's final visit in August. Take care, my dear friends, Mohamad

2 pointsby working on my F-4E/G cockpits and try to improve them more and more i got some help from Pvince , so far i was using Avioncs60.dll for the avionics but Pvince suggested to use Avionics70.dll since the DSCG radar display is a digital display and Avionics70.dll would be more suited for it especially the VC display ( velocity closure ) in the upper right of the display would be only possible with the Avionics70.dll Pvince made all the changes and got the F-4E avionics70.dll cockpit working , so that is what we got now Search with radar range display Boresight with radar range display lock on with radar range display an VC display PPI with radar range display TISEO one problem is still remaining , the F-4E with DMAS / ARN-101 is using CCIP but with out a fall line , so if you select a bomb the gun-sight disappears from the HUD if you are close to the target the gun-sight com`s back up and you can attack your target normal view Bombs selected , gun-sight disappears close to target dont know if i should keep that CCIP or just use the normal gun sight

1 pointI think that's actually a very healthy approach Rick! I've driven myself batty chasing stutters and FPS issues over the years. Best to get on with it and accept that the sim will throw some curve balls your way - the joys of a truly dynamic sim!

1 pointHi! Well... ehm... it is a game from 2008/2009 and there wasn't very much wiggle room to begin with. TK didn't look too far into the future and abandoned the game somewhere in 2013 (I think). So that is almost 12 years without "official' support, patches and so on. But it is true... you need to tweak it a LOT to get it running on an acceptable level. There might be some tips in the fora and the knowledge sections, and next to that it is trial and error. I have a Win11 system with an RTX card and an ultrawide monitor and it works most of the time. Crashes will sometime occur and I have accepted it. Good luck.... and enjoy! Muesli

1 pointI will say that: A) I never seem to get the graphics or frame rates that a lot of YouTubers seem to enjoy but B) I also don't put any time or effort into trying to figure out how to achieve them!

1 pointFinished my first chemotherapy session; it took sixteen hours to complete. I have also completed two radiotherapy sessions out of thirty. I feel tired and have lost my taste, a dry mouth, and an upset stomach. But hopefully, I will complete treatment without infections. I may not be around for a while, but when I can, I will update you, my dear friends. Take care, Mohamad

1 pointSmall progress report --- Cadiz, and the Bay of. San Fernando in the distance, and Puerto Real to the left. Unfortunately, there's not enough room (tile wise) to add Puerto de Santa Maria, which I'd really like to. Given the historical significance, as Columbus sailed from there. I'll try and figure something out. (and yes, I do know the penninsula is faaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrr to fat!!!)

ALBATROS D III (OAW) WITH JASTA 39 REDUX This upload comprises of 3 Rar files, the first is the standard D III OAW, 2 of which are in generic markings, and 2 which are Ottoman machines, one in earlier markings of the black square, the second with the late war red squares. The other 2 Rar files are all for Jasta 39 Albatri, 2 generic, and the rest in the markings shown in the thumbnail pictures heading this download. Again as with the previous D III's I uploaded previously, the Jasta 39 aircraft are in their own complete fils, so you can use them as a seperate Jasta so it is named Albatros DIII (OAW) (JASTA 39)......you know the drill by now I am sure !!! The red and white candy stripe one, was a real pain in the bum to do, mainly because of the bloody awful way the models were made, so getting the stripes to marry up correctly had me cursing and swearing quite considerably. So it is not 100% perfect, but it is as good as can be expected, and certainly better than the original skin that was done in this scheme, I forget who originally uploaded it, but for sure it is a vast improvement. As ever, everything is included in the package, Decals, Guns........blah blah blah..........You will need to download all the files as the decals etc for the Jasta 39 Albatri are in the first RAR file.............As for the rest, I am not going to repeat myself, as I am sure most of the folks downloading this, are used to my stuff, so I wont bore you with the blurb !!! As always...................ENJOY
