I discovered a problem with the Nieuport 21. There were differences between the various LODs which caused the wings on one side of the plane to disappear as the plane moved into the distance. I tracked down the problem and fixed it. A new version has been uploaded, I highly suggest you get the new version. All skins, decals, and loadouts are unchanged. The only difference is in the LODs, so you can just swap the old ones with the new ones if that's easier for you.

Well at one point this was not going to be a What If plane set but since Germany decided to go with the F-35 in real life I decided to submit this as a What If due to the hard work put forth by crisisloaner and me. Initial work was done by crisisloaner with some editing and tweaks by me to make it available for download. - Pilots is from a mod unknown (but I suspect a Tornado mod) - Some decals are from guruu's Tornado mod and added for use on the Supers. - All weapons needed to run this mod are included. Other weapons are from the various weapon packs that you can get from this site and you should be able to run this without requiring the Super Hornet pack to play. - Included is a German version of the EA-18G and features JaboG 32 as a unit. Included is one F/A-18F squadron, AG51 "Immelman", and also included is a Marineflieger version with two squadrons included. Any inaccuracies, questions should be directed here:

The Nieuport 21 was designed to be a long range escort fighter. It used a Nieuport 17 airframe with the smaller Nieuport 11 engine to reduce fuel consumption and extend its range. The lighter weight gave the plane a good climb rate, but the lower power engine reduced its speed. The Nieuport 21 served along with the Nieuport 17 on the Western Front. It was also licensed to the Dux factory in Russia and large numbers were used on the Eastern Front. My version of the Nieuport 21 is armed with a single Lewis gun mounted on the upper wing and has a loadout for eight Le Prieur Rockets for Balloon Busting missions. This package features two skins - one French, one Russian - a set of decals, and a fully functional cockpit. My skinning templates are included with the download. This plane uses the Le Prieur Rockets created by P10ppy and a sound file created by Nixou (included with his Realistic Engine Sounds package). Both of these files are available in the Combat Ace Download section. Both of these files are used by other aircraft, so you may already have them. I have included Nixou's sound file with this package in case you don't already have it. Credits: My thanks to Ojcar for making the data file for the Nieuport 21. My thanks to Nixou for making the sound file for the Le Rhone 80hp engine. Installation instructions: This aircraft uses P10ppy's Le Prieur rockets available in the CombatAce downloads section. You may already have it. If you don't, you'll have to download it and install it into your Weapons folder. For FE1: Unzip the file and move the folder named "Nieuport21" into your FirstEagles/Objects/Aircraft folder. If you don't already have it, copy the file named "LeRhone9c80hp1m4" from my Sounds folder into yours. For FE2: Unzip the file and move the folder named "Nieuport21" into your FirstEagles/Objects/Aircraft folder. Then in your FirstEagles/Objects/Decals folder, create a new folder named "Nieuport21". Move the folder named "D" from the Airplanes/Nieuport21 folder into the Decals/Nieuport21 folder you just made. If you don't already have it, copy the file named "LeRhone9c80hp1m4" from my Sounds folder into yours.

The Vickers Valiant was a British high-altitude jet bomber designed to carry nuclear weapons, and in the 1950s and 1960s was part of the Royal Air Force's "V bomber" strategic deterrent force. It was developed by Vickers-Armstrongs in response to Specification B.35/46 issued by the Air Ministry for a nuclear-armed jet-powered bomber. The Valiant was the first of the V bombers to become operational, and was followed by the Handley Page Victor and the Avro Vulcan. The Valiant was the only V bomber to have dropped live nuclear weapons (for test purposes) All the 11 Squadrons that used the Valiant (included the 4 Suez ones) with historical numbers (Those from suez with note for campaign numbers to choose). What's new: - SF-2 porting - 24 Skins edited and resized - New decals - New historical decal numbers by squadron - Decals positions fixed - New loadout image References: - Warpaint n. 63 - Scale Aircraft Modelling - vol.25 n. 5 - Vickers Valiant - Aerofax - Osprey Combat Aircraft n. 95 All credits to A-TEAM for model and base skins I edited & upgraded. (*) You need Valiant-B1-R3d (new) lod from A-TEAM site. One community, more planes, so much fun. @ paulopanz

Russian Sukhoi Su-25 hit most likely by MANPADS maybe FIM-92 Stinger make it back home to it's Air Base with one engine Look at the damage made by the missile to the engine and the rudder, this remind me of the Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II. But this is worse Also during Operation Iraqi Freedom this A-10 it was hit by an Iraqi missile in the right engine. The A-10 made it back to the base safely.
