Skyviper Posted May 3, 2020 Posted May 3, 2020 What caliber weapon is needed to kill these things? I'm thinking a 20 gauge with bird shot. I have a funny feeling that a can of Hot Shot would just piss these Japanese Hornets smooth off. (which by the way these puppies are now in the U.S.) 1 Quote

Wrench Posted May 4, 2020 Posted May 4, 2020 stick to my 12 gauge, with #6 & #8 shot. Now, however seeing their size makes me wish it was an auto loader (or that one that looks like an M-16 with a 20 round mag) 1 3 Quote

+Gepard Posted May 5, 2020 Posted May 5, 2020 The most simple solution is a bucket of diesel. The Wasps or Hornets think it is water and when they drink it, they are poisoned. Simple. Its better than try to shoot every single Hornet or worse shoot into a nest. One failed shot and you need to get outa there ASAP. Quote

Man... if we ever 'solved' bushfires in this country, I'd hate to think of the angry insect life we'd discover. I'm pretty sure we've built this country atop a Zerg hive. 1 Quote
