Hi community, As of next Friday, I will probably not be able to be a part of this forum for about the next year, perhaps more. Recently, I scored a good job in the middle east. I'm not allowed to say where, but there is some degree of risk involved with it. As a result, I have to get my skates on and get moving, in a very very short time-frame. I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank this awesome community. Even though so many of us have not met, there really is a feeling of "brotherhood" here. I am especially indebted to all of the modders out there that do such awesome work; you have kept this sim alive for so long with your extreme levels of talent. I would like to thank Wrench; for always having patience with me time and time again, when I ask questions that I should really know the answer to. And I would especially like to thank Dave. Man, I WILL get to the States one day, maybe 2019, 2020, or perhaps 2021. I also recently found a long lost buddy who lives in Texas and has touched base with me, so hopefully. I know that with this community, by the time I fly SF2 again, it will be a completely different sim. All the best guys, Andrew.

Hello everybody, Today we don't have a lot of news, we just want to tell you that the work on 3.001 update is near its end. We have 20 Career mission types working of 25 planned for the release. The most of the initially found issues are fixed and some tweaks are already in the place. To give you a general idea of the scale of this update, its change list will contain 90 items, nearly a third of which are significant changes and improvements. The sheer number of these changes means that after 3.001 release hotfixes will likely follow because there could be problems that couldn't be found by the testers. We're sure this teething period will be short. P-39L-1 cockpit is almost ready, perhaps we'll spend 1-2 days for final 'polishing' of its textures, but we can already show you its overall look. All other changes and additions planned for 3.001 release are finished. Therefore, we plan to release this humongous update in 2-3 weeks. We want to release it as soon as possible ourselves: all we're doing we're doing for you and your feedback is very important for us. But we need to make a bit more effort to give you the result that will not only be massive, but also good functioning, so these days will be spent on debugging and refinement of the new functionality. You can discuss the news in this thread

Sounds great. And I agree. A more updated ORBAT is probably a good idea. The Su-27s and possibly even the Su-30s in the IRIAF probably need to go. I was considering substituting the PAC JF-17 Thunder because the Iranians are actually in talks to get those as they recently inked an $8B arms deal with the Chinese. I figured updating SAMs along with maybe even adding a 'what-if' aspect of the J-31 or FBC-1 in service with the IRIAF.

I know, that's tricky. That's why I made a template some time ago covering such things like tilted, staggered, staggered+tilted, different fonts, etc. :) Here are the decals: 3xx tilted without shadow (300-324) 3xx_tilted_all.7z 3xx tilted with small white shadow (300-324) 3xx_whiteshadow_tilted_all.7z Just say, if you need more.

Nicely done, Stephen1918! Good documentation and very easy to install as all the hard work was done up front. Made me want to drag out the old SPA.81 S.VII model and take it for a spin!

You'll need to add SystemName[001]=LeftWingStreamer to the relevant sections (like TopWingMidLeft, etc.) ..change the number to the next one if needed. rgds gt
