More "Heavy Metal" although it's 1 ton lighter than a P-47D-40, with both at typical clean combat weight.

First sinking ship experiment. I've started adapting a photo of a foundering ship, and adding an oil slick. Needs more work, but it looks like a good direction.

This FM is for Veltro2K's Typhoon 1B bubble top, available here: https://combatace.com/files/file/14738-hawker-typhoon-mk-ib-bubble-top/ Besides the FM/Data.ini, you will also find a new cockpit.ini with a position adjustment and a new loadout.ini. I've also included a couple of WW2 bombs as well as a bomb pylon that's being used to address a model issue, more info below. NOTES: The Typhoon had a very thick wing, with a thickness/chord ratio similar to the Hurricane. To get started on this FM I imported some of the data from my Hurricane FM and it seemed to work quite well so I ended up just making a number of edits to get the desired behavior. Actual high quality data available is quite sparse so it's based on mostly anecdotal information. Turn rates are better than the P-47D-40 but similar to the Tempest and FW-190 so you will want to keep the speed up. When doing a Soviet style turn time test I got about 24sec. Some adjustments have been made to the Sabre engines WEP table so the Tempest will be getting that update as well. The maximum roll rate for the Typhoon was rather poor at about 55deg/sec at 250mph. Quite a large "spread" in the various speed charts I was looking at. With this one you can expect about 345mph at sea level and about 395mph at 18000ft. In general, its about 20-30mph slower than the Tempest at all altitudes. BOMBS: Two bombs included, one 500lb-MC and one 1000lb-MC. These came in various Mark numbers but I don't see much point in having more than one of each. In general, the MC [medium capacity] series had an explosive/total weight ratio of about 50%, with different fin, fusing and attachment set-ups for the various marks. From some relatively light weight research, it seems the MC series was developed in 1942 and became available in 1943. No idea what the end service date is. The Typhoon data.ini has a length restriction for the bombs to make the later TW UK bombs unavailable. BOMB PYLON: To address a strange weight distribution issue when carrying bombs, I've put together a work-around. The bomb pylons are installed as no weight, no jettison, specific station Drop Tanks! When doing a strike or anti-ship mission the new loadout.ini will include the bomb pylons as well as the new 500lb-MC bomb. This setup works fine but just remember, if you ever want to change the loadout manually, don't forget to include the pylons when carrying bombs. If desired, engine exhaust and prop inertia effects can be activated by removing the double slashes from these entries: ExhaustEmitterName=//CleanExhaustEmitter and MomentOfInertia=//8.0 Here's the data.ini and assorted bits: Typhoon1B-0.95.zip

Id say the main purpose of the CEP function in SF is to generate the random bomb/weapon impacts. With CEP 0 the impacts are all lined up, iirc. When updating older weapons I always take the value from a matching stock weapon.. to have continuity.

Excellent! When the models are mapped, I'll send the LODs to you. Thanks for the help.

CL: right in one, my brother! Get to reuse all the decals from the "previous" mod, and with a blank slate skin, allow for skinners to make other units. guuruu: i'm putting enough pressure on our 3d guy as it is! (perfectionism has cost! )

Geezer, I have put together the proper guns for the Italian Alfredo Cappellini, Faà di Bruno, Monte Santo, and Monte Grappa classes of monitors and floating batteries if you want them. Alternately you could send me their LOD's and I could build the data files for you.

SF2NA A-6E (TRAM) Intruder, VA-34,VA-55,VA-85 Early Lo-Viz Skin/Decals Pack 2/15/2018 = For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Prefered) = *Can be used in any install that has access to the A-6E_79 (aka: TRAM)* 3 new skins for the 3W A-6E_79 Intruder that depict the 3 squadrons that participated in the "Freedom of Navigation" exercises in the Gulf of Sidra during 1986, and subsequent strikes against various Libyan targets (El Dorado Canyon). All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. All serial (BuAerNums) are correct as they are for the A-6E, but should be considered Generic (tm) in nature, not representing specific aircraft in any particular squadron. In fact, all 3 skins use them as a 'pool' of decals. The Default Start Date switch is used on this skin, so in 1983, you should see only these. The skin maps are new; The aircraft is finished in the 2-tone Compass Ghost Grey over Medium Grey scheme, with subdued markings (black and light grey). The skins are in jpg format. The aircraft are: VA-34 Blue Blasters, USS AMERICA VA-55 Warhorses, USS CORAL SEA VA-85 Black Falcons, USS SARATOGA As these are 'stock' squadrons in the 3rd Wire listing, Level=1 decals are used to activate the squadron name display. This should make it easy for campaign builders to use them in user-made campaigns or single missions (like on Menrva's new Libyan terrain). Please note, =NOTHING= is included that makes the aircraft flyable; no inis, cockpit parts (I use the Razbam payware pit on my A-6E & A-6E TRAMs). You should have made them flyable or need to seek the "parts" on your own. Also, if you have made it flyable, and use the "Read Only" trick on the main ini (A-6E_79.ini), you'll have to un-read only it to add this skin. While specificly designed for the A-6E_79, this mod =should= be compatible with the A-6 Intruder MegaPack by Homefries; the skins use unique squadron named folders and should not conflict or interfere with it (even though said squadrons also exist in his pack, as Level=1 statments, selectable from the Squadron Dropdown on the Loadout screen). Please note the "1983" start date is an arbitrary year, based on my research as a "best guess". On the Loadout Screen, for skin selection you'll see: VA-34 Blue Blasters (2-Tone 1983) VA-55 Warhorses (2-Tone 1983) VA-85 Black Falcons (2-Tone 1983) As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them .... Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein

Check the folders names! I can't find white numbers and used blue ones, common to Ukrainian Air Force, but for this camo they are not correct. Thanx to person who did decal numbers, i got it from NATO fighters mod. Sorry, I do not know who is it. Submitter bazillius Submitted 03/06/2018 Category MiG-29

I feel this mods are getting such an outstanding quality level that in some cases surpases commercial modules for DCS. My hat off for you guys!

@ Stratos, cause you 've asked for more pics, and couldn't find any at Enocs profile, here are a few more. I have noticed it still has the old intake, i need to upgrade it with the new "parts"

Alrighty..I think I'm there. Desaturated the files 31-38 at the same level, then brightened them at the same level. So no purple..and still a good look to them I think. Hope you don't mind Stary..just going for a bit more of a gritty and subdued look...
