1 pointHi Guys, as some of you already now, i have some fake pilot mods in the pipe for the Eagle and the Flanker. What it does is, it replaces some parts of current planes, like the canopy, glass and the cockpit itself. BUT!!! You need to decide and choose just one skin for each plane, cause if you choose a different coloured skin, the "new" exterior parts, will not change with the skin. So you are limited in one or the same coloured skin for the planes. And!!! You will lose the open canopy animation for the Eagle. The Mod is using Marcfighters Su-27 and Dave's F-15 Pack as base. This is not a mod for TK's F-15A or Inskies Su-27 Currently i need some helpf fixing the problem, that the new fake pilot parts appear inside the cockpit, how can i dissable them? And here it is, what i am talking about: F-15C Su-27

1 pointG'Day all, It's been a while, but that doesn't mean I haven't been working! This is my latest: the RAAF's new all through pilot training aircraft. 2FTS paint scheme: Bump and specular mapping: ARDU (aircraft Research and Development Unit) paint scheme: 1FTS and CFS (Roulettes) paint scheme: Finally, 4 SQN (FAC): I'm just doing some final touches on the flight model but I'm planning on releasing the aircraft with my AT-6 pit as a place holder while I work on a pit for it. 1 pointA-1H USMC DECAL.ini Corrections View File Just a quick errata sheet for the USMC Skyraider skins I released last month, I just noticed a glaring error, ie I had misnumbered the decals in the decal.ini on 3 of the skins I uploaded that is for VMA212 - 251 - 333 causing the tail numbers to be errr rather truncated on the right side of the fin.....ooops !! So, here are the 3 corrected decal.ini's for the relevant skins, just rename them ie just delete the names I have put on them for reference, and rename EACH one "Decals" and drop them into the relevant skin folder and allow it to over write the existing decal.ini file if you didnt delete it first of course, oh yes, I had also forgotten to enable the prop decals on those 3 skins so that has been rectified as well. Totally my bad here, I shall be having strong words with my quality control department , apologies for the error , silly me !! Submitter trotski00 Submitted 05/07/2018 Category A-1

1 pointThanks, comrades, for the links. I really missed a lot, waiting for these planes to appear in the download section. Yes, Geezer's models are truly magnificent. In order for them to become fully visible in my 1stGens, I need to process them with a file, but this is not a problem!

1 pointIt never almost never hurts to have the option to use drop tanks. It very much hurts if you need them but can't have them.

1 pointSupermarine Skylark F.1 - No.5 & No.11 Squadrons, RAF Fighter Command, 1961 The adoption of the earlier Dassault Mystère IV (licence-built by Supermarine Aviation as the Siskin F.1) encouraged Dassault to offer the forthcoming Super Mystère to the UK Government to meet the RAF's requirement for a Venom replacement for overseas use. However, by mid-1955 the requirement had changed to that for a supersonic interceptor-fighter for RAF Fighter Command to supplement the Hunter F.6 and provide a lead-in to the Mach 2 English Electric Lightning. By this time the Super Mystère prototype had flown (initially powered by a Rolls Royce Avon RA.7R) and the successful early flight-testing gave the RAF the confidence to quickly draft an official Operational Requirement based around a Super Mystère powered by the proposed Avon RA.21R and armed with 2 x 30mm ADEN cannon. Supermarine were selected to licence-build the Super Mystère at South Marston as the Supermarine Skylark F.1 for RAF Fighter Command and with an initial order for 120 aircraft and soon supplemented with an order for 45 Skylark FR.2's for RAF Germany (carrying centreline Vinten camera pods). Whilst Dassault quickly moved on to the Mirage family of delta-winged fighters the Skylark was further developed by Supermarine as the FGA.3 fighter-bomber for the RAF and also exported to Finland, India and Saudi Arabia.

1 pointA few more shots. Some were taken using DX9 and some were taken using DX11. Doesn't seem to make any difference, so I'm going to resume experimenting with SweetFX.

1 pointThe updates for the nose intakes are all done, reworked minor parts on the different versions. For comparison, the Su-17 early version and the Su-17M, you can see a smaller dorsal spine, 2 added wingfences and enlarged wingfences on the M, 4 more fuselage pylons Currently we are looking for a final solution for the larger front gear bay doors, on some pics, they remain open on ground, on other pics, they are closed.

1 pointSo guys, here is the current and very good status of the upcoming cockpit. I realy like it and i hope we will have good pits till the M4 version So far, the early version cockpit with black instrument panel. I have zoomed out to get a better vew. The base instruments and some parts are done by good old Stary! ALL PICS ARE WIP!!!

1 pointHi, Stratos! Believe me, there is no such thing as fast terrain making. You're talking to the guy who spent almost three years on a small terrain (it's not even real size, it's like stock TW's terrains). Of course, I spent most of the time researching details, targets locations, and hand-tiling the whole Mesopotamia with rivers, lakes and so on. I think you all we'll be impressed with the results. I used satellite images as reference during all the development. If you're not seeking ultra-accuracy, especially with rivers and lakes, you can gain quite some time for targets placement and so on. I only wish that the terrain could get a better tileset complete with new TODs once it is released. Some magic from Stary or other artists here would make the terrain really shine. Creating good-looking tilesets and TODs is also very time consuming. Out of curiosity, IIRC, Stratos you were working together with Centurion-1 on a beatiful terrain representing Ecuador and Peru, a long time ago. Such a pity Centurion-1 is no longer active, he had so many interesting mods for SF2. But RL comes first, I hope he's well and all.
-
1 pointUnfortunately Centurion-1's project went dark, he was working on a 32 strategic node ground war. Spudknocker built another mod package using these new terrains as a base. So simply enjoy what we'll have to offer. Besides, I hope that once the terrains get released, we'll see updated versions of Operation Desert Storm, Operation Darius and maybe for the first time a campaign based on Operation Iraqi Freedom.
