While (trying) to work on the TMF Mk IX, I discovered that both the Mk.1 and Mk.VIII have a hidden animation we'd never noticed! This will activate the radiator doors for both of these. Please note! This is ONLY for the TMF/ModMafia Mk.1 and Mk.VIII, available in our download sections Also, double check the numbering sequence of sub-systems in the fuselage component listing. Just in case your's differs. Spitfire Mk.1: add to fuselage section of data ini: SystemName[006]=RadiatorDoors add to the data ini -anywhere you want really, I put it down where the canopy animation statement is [RadiatorDoors] SystemType=ANIMATION DeploymentMethod=AUTOMATIC_MACH SmoothDeployment=TRUE RetractValue=0.50 DeployValue=0.03 AnimationTime=0.2 AnimationID=5 ModelNodeName[001]=cowl_flap0 Spitfire Mk.VIII (MTO and PTO usage): add to fuselage section SystemName[009]=RadiatorDoors add down near the canopy animation: [RadiatorDoors] SystemType=ANIMATION DeploymentMethod=AUTOMATIC_MACH SmoothDeployment=TRUE RetractValue=0.50 DeployValue=0.03 AnimationTime=0.2 AnimationID=5 ModelNodeName[001]=cowl_flap0 ModelNodeName[002]=cowl_flap01 save the data ini and enjoy. Feel free to adjust the closure speed, if more accurate information become available.

for the less OCD, you set up installs per what your doing with em (all naval war stuff into the SF2NA folder, all NATO stuff into SF2E etc). even then you often go back and say "oh, wow i forgot that was in there"

A very respected Captain in the Foreign Legion was transferred to a remote desert outpost. On his orientation tour he noticed a very old seedy looking camel tied out behind the enlisted men's barracks. He asked the Sergeant leading the tour, "Why is a camel tied to the barracks?" The Sergeant replied, "Well sir, it's a long way from anywhere, and the men have natural sexual urges, so when they do ... uh ... we have the camel ready for them.” The Captain said, "Well, I suppose if it's good for morale, then I guess it's all right with me”. After he had been stationed at the fort for six long, lonely months, the Captain simply couldn't control his sexual angst any longer. He barked to his Sergeant: "BRING THE CAMEL INTO MY TENT!” The Sergeant shrugged his shoulders, looked at the other men, and lead the camel into the Captain's quarters. Within a few minutes, the Captain emerged from his tent, fastening his trousers, almost beaming with pride. "So, Sergeant, is that how the enlisted men do it?" he asked. The Sergeant replied, "Well, sir, usually they just use it to ride into town."

CTD might be a mystery sometimes. Not so long ago I've made SEAD mission in an editor. The main strike was carried out by B-1B. I run scenario 7 times always somewhere i had CTD...each time i was checking in editor what is wrong..going back to aircraft folder ..to check maybe I eft some bug... 8th attempt I've changed loadout for B-1 to [iron|strike] - setting - meaning a standard bunch of mk82...Then I flew SEAD..B-1 smashed factory...nothing happened. After all I've checked loadout that was 'causing ' CTD - weapon - GATORS were f***d in ini file. And this sometimes also occurs.

Lots of scenario specific installs. This was my desktop back in 2015: I'm feeling much better now and am down to only 10 SF2 installs - the 5 basic games & 2 expansion packs (which I use mainly for testing mods), a USMC (and friends) install, a Drug Wars install based around Central America and the Caribbean, and a WW2 ETO install. I'll probably add more but this is more than enough to keep me busy!

Sir or mam, You are a hero. It worked. Thank you so much for all the help. I know you didn't need to but you did anyway. If I could I'd buy you a beer (or any other beverage of your choice).

Someone was asking about low viz VF-84 skins for the F-14A_82. While we wait patiently for someone to make one there is always the option of flying the first version TMF F-14A which has several low viz Jolly Rogers skins available...

Most recently...Anti-runway mission, apparently I was not the only flight in the strike. A Phabulous Phantom on its way to Kim Jong's house... A few presents for the Dhimari regime This "what if" Voodoo is not terrible... From the pit of the Sabre, all I saw was the tracers going out front, I thought I was high for AAA, and so I paused to see... So I showed him how it was supposed to be done... Heres just a great shot of my 510th Buzzards F16 flying over Hanoi (I think)... I think the grey paint is good camo for city scapes... Speaking of camouflage, how about this one? And finally, a pass by the carrier before heading out for the afternoon.
