2 pointsFor several years, I've been working on an improved Galicia terrain for the Eastern Front. I am (FINALLY) finished. I am doing some tweaking, gathering the parts and getting everything organized for upload. I hope to upload the finished package in a few days. The improved terrain includes new Farm and City tiles, new TODs for most of the tiles, more target areas, and a lot of eye candy. New features include more buildings in the cities, very small villages/farms, cavalry camps, field hospitals, static aircraft on all the airfields, and more active battle grounds. I have added a lot more detail to the whole terrain. Ojcar's Armchair Aces campaigns will not be affected.

2 pointsThank you all for your comments. I think anyone who has done terrains will agree with me: It's hard to stop because you keep thinking of more things too add, and things that were finished months ago don't seem to be good enough anymore. There are still a lot of things that I would like to do but if I'm not careful, I will never be finished. I decided that it's good enough for now; maybe I will make a new version later. I am writing the installation instructions now and will upload the package later today or early tomorrow..

2 pointsThe grate thing is we find all the "typical" images of the Eastern Front : the buildings, the armored trains ...

1 pointReally doing my damndest to put GBU-40s on the Gripen. First, let me show you why: With that for inspiration first, I programmed this loadout in the JAS39_LOADOUT.INI: Second, I went into the JAS39_DATA.INI and made a few changes: So I'm a little, er, shocked I'm not seeing BRU-61 racks like above! FYI @TempestII @viper63a @Stipe @JuanchoGomez @JonathanRL

1 pointThe only Phantom missing from the stock hangar is the "S" model. All the others, B,C,D,J are stock 3w units. The F-4N is available as the DLC, and for the price, well worth it, as is the JASDF F-4EJ. The BLW (German) F-4E and F-4F are stock from SF2:E. Be advised, when downloading and adding 3rd party Phantoms; the Mirage Factory units come directly to mind, you may need to rename the non-factory addons (via folder and main ini to something NOT stock, as there WILL be conflicts when/if you get the 3W units. If that seems confusing, we'll clear that up when it's needed to do so. It's really easy to do. Phantoms is one of the main things that's great about the SF/Wo*/SF2 series

1 pointIf Phantoms are you'r thing then I'd recommend SF2 Vietnam, you can merge the two titles into a single install which means you'll be able to use the features added in NA in Vietnam. There is a very intuitive simple mission editor is available as a DLC, though if you want to spend a bit more its included in the European expansion pack (however you'd also need SF2E as well).

1 pointWell folks, I'm working slowly on a What-If campaign if the Dhimaris got Gripens to fight off the latest aggression... so here are some early Work-In-Progress photos. I've also decided to give the Dhimaris some digi-camo. Why? Tired of grey airplanes.

ALARM anti-radar missile ----------------------------------------- To use missile copy Objects folder to your MODS. ALARM rail ------------------ This part is to do. I used ALARM rails as weapon stations in my Tonka. So maybe somebody will do ALARM rail as standalone rack. I've added rails 3d files and skins and templates in this download. Only what you must to do is set correct position and add ini file. Have fun Wojtek -
1 point2) cant say about the skin but iirc the Mig-17K was a what if aircraft for use on a (nonexistant in real life) Soviet aircraft carrier and as such would not have many skins. 3)iirc bullets holes are put on like decals, for minor hits. more major hits bring up the damage model, where pieces go missing and you see the spars and such sticking out. the bullet holes are usually tgas withing the aircraft or aircraft skin 4) 3DS Max 2009 creates LOD, but you have to edit the original max file to do most edits. if you mean removing parts of the aircraft say so and will point out the how later 5) AI skill level depends on the training level set for that nation within the nationlist ini. however even the highest levels of training still lead to "off" AI behavior in game. see my constant references to the Dos Gringos song "The Wingmen" 10) edit the nations list ini to add them in. see any of my airliners if you just want to plug a ready made ini into the flight folder, or add the entries at the end of your own if you wish (again see my airliners, most have a ready made and a plug in version, the plug in you add the numbers to fit it in at the end of your NATIONLIST.ini) 9) if you want historical accuracy, Google and Wikipedia are your friends..... if you want whatever you want, edit the start date to what you want. with ini editing you can have the Nimitz CVBG operating off the coast of Hawaii on 6 Dec 1941 sorry thats all i got on a lunch break away from my computer
