TY Stratos I try GKABS its a Brit project of 1953 era...my interpretation of what 2 seater would be. Vickers 553 project from 1953 My single seater did away with the Lightning style canopy as pilots found it obscured vision for a" fighter version." my take on it if it had happened .

I have uploaded a new version of the Heinkel He.51 (administrator approval still pending.) The new version is identical in every way to the old one, but it includes a gun sight. Ojcar has made the necessary changes to the Weapon Stations and Loadout to attach the gun sight which came with Emld's Neiuport 24 Lewis. I have included the gun sight with the download in case you don't already have it.

As the sun began to set the SEAL Team leader reviewed the intel package.. A week ago an aid convoy heading for the remote villages near the Sudan border lost contact. Of course search parties were launched to find them. 48 hours ago a French C-160 on an aid drop flight spotted the convoy halted well off their route and called it in. The convoy consists of trucks carrying food and medical supplies, a portable clinic constructed from shipping containers, and a number of international doctors, nurses and aid workers, including 5 Americans. As suspected, the convoy was being held by Sudanese backed militia. It would be dark by the time the SEALs arrived at Gondar. They would head straight into the mission planning cell and get together with the Marines to plan a rescue that could be launched as soon as possible.. Sure enough, by morning the various elements were ready to go.. A KC-130 lifts off carrying the SEALs.. Marine helos launch... A blocking force of Marines, including Humvees and LAV-25s will be inserted between the convoy and the border to prevent the militia escaping with hostages... And the F/A-18Ds of VMFA(AW)- 533 are tasked to provide recon, CAS and CAP for the operation.. The KC-130's track takes it far enough from the convoy that it won't be noticed, but close enough that the SEALs can cover the distance comfortably and it's time to jump... To be continued...

I have uploaded two versions of the Hispano-Neiuport NiD 52 - one for each side. More than 100 NiD 52's were produced in Spain between 1930 and 1933. A little more than 50 remained in service when the Civil War started and were used by both sides in the early months of the war. It was a decent fighter, but slow and not as nimble as later planes. It could hold its own against a Breguet or another Nieuport, but it facing a Heinkel will be a challenge. Nevertheless, it was an important addition to both sides until better planes became available. The download includes both versions of the plane with appropriate skins and decals, a functional cockpit, and a gun sight which can be attached via the loadout. My skinning templates are included. My thanks to Ojcar who made the FM and who made the necessary file adjustments to use the gun sight. (The gun sight was originally included with Emld's Neiuport 24 Lewis, I have included it with this download in case you don't already have it.)

A couple of years ago, I uploaded a (Fake) Spanish terrain for FE. It's not geographically correct, but it has 1930's era ground objects and airfields. I also made some tanks and armored cars for the Spanish Civil War. They're both in the First Eagles, Golden Era downloads section. Gterl was working on a terrain for SCW, I don't know where he stands on that.

I discovered another stock SF2 bug in the _NATIONS.ini file; the Republic of China Air Force (Taiwan) is always using the late roundel, instead of using the old, correct one which TK created but left unused by this mistake in the .ini: [Nation024] Name=Taiwan DisplayName=Republic of China Air Force Alignment=FRIENDLY PilotNameList=NamesChineseWG.lst RankList=RanksUSAF.lst CallsignList=CallsignsUS.lst Formation.Fighter=USFighter Formation.Attack=USFighter Formation.Bomber=USBomber Formation.Transport=USBomber Formation.Tank=USTank Formation.MobileAD=USAD PilotTrainingStandard=NORMAL GenderRatio=0 DebriefSuccessMusic=DebriefSuccess.wav DebriefFailMusic=DebriefFail.wav DebriefKilledMusic=DebriefKilled.wav SpeechFile=USAFSpeech.cat SpeechTextFile=USAFSpeechText.str There's no call to the following decal; [Nation117] Name=Taiwan_OLD21 It has been addressed in my latest version of the mod, be on the lookout for the next release. I realize it's a bit off but the way that the skin is setup it works like this. I can move the slimers down and see if it looks better but here it is colored.

Fully traced on the tail. The colors won't be too exact, more like that reference photo of it in the air, just as a fair warning even though it has a gradient color scheme applied to it. However, the end of the braid is going to go lower (the whole slimer needs to be moved down as well) so it looks to scale with the part on the tail.

Hello, friends, Just came back from my long vacation to Turkey Istanbul, It was a really great one I should post some photos. Back to 3d work, I will try to complete the civilian airport terminals I was thinking off having them separated models so users can shape the terminals and the gates the way they like. I should have them after maybe a week. then I will try to catch up with some requests that I have not completed. Seven Lakes National Park

Did some flying again this weekend, first in ROF, but then I ended up spending more time in SF2 and FE2. ROF is definitely a respectable sim with great damage modeling, but I had much more fun in SF2 and FE2. Also the AI is I think noticeably better in the TW sims, particularly in FE2 where, depending on skill, aircraft sometimes disengage and try to head for home, or temporarily disengage and then jump back into the fray. Spent some time again this weekend in the Pacific theater and managed to capture a couple of nice shots of the early Tomahawk. I should probably start doing some FM tweaks for a small selection of two-engined aircraft, for an extension of my 1937 - 1941 package for SF2, but the flying is just too addictive. Von S

On the long flight across Ethiopia the passengers aboard the CH-53E, a US Navy SEAL team, reflected that it was a little over 24 hours since they had been checking into a luxury hotel in Dubai. They had just started a well-deserved spell of R&R after a particularly intense period of operations in the Persian Gulf. Operating from Navy ships and aircraft they had been part of the protection for international shipping from Iranian aggression As well taking on the occasional covert recon of Iranian facilities.. (But that's a screenshot story for another time.) It seemed like no sooner had the SEALs checked into the hotel in Dubai when the call came that they were to be picked up and flown back to Bahrain as a matter of urgency. Transport was enroute and they were to grab their gear and head to the roof ASAP... 'Hey pilot, don't go yet. We're missing a couple of the Team that went straight to the beach to hang with some air hostesses we met on the flight down.' 'No problem, we'll pick them up on the way' A flight to Navy HQ in Bahrain, a hair-raising transit by speeding fully-loaded SUVs to the airport, and the SEALs were climbing aboard the Boeing 707 charity-chartered aid flight to Djibouti... 'Skipper, why couldn't we have just taken that flight?' ''We don't know who's watching flight arrivals in Djibouti. And in any case we're being met at the airport there for a connecting flight. that we don't need the other passengers to see. Now shut up and get some sleep. You don't know when you'll get another chance.' Turbulence shook the SEAL leader from his thoughts. The CH-53E was taking on fuel as it continued it's journey to Gondar, hub of USMC operations supporting the aid operation in-country on Ethiopia.. He opened the intel package that he had been handed on boarding the helo to find out just why he and his men had been plucked so urgently from the lap of luxury to exchange one desert battlefield for another. To be continued...

I am with you on that! I really don't get the need for in-flight refueling. Users seem to forget that TW's terrains are not full size. All terrains are about 60% of real scale size. By asking TK for a feature like this, you also ask him to remake his terrains from zero in real scale. Not really worth the effort. I'd rather have a refueling and rearming the moment I land at an airbase, arcadish ala Novalogic's light flight sims.
