So...thank goodness I didn't get all .ini happy. I went into the attic, grabbed another keyboard. And it works fine with SF2. Odd thing is..the one that isn't working (Saitek) DID work with my older computer and SF2. So it must be a somewhat newer driver or something that isn't playing nice with the Saitek keyboard. I'll do some further experimenting, but I definitely found my problem.

Absolutely outstanding Wojtek! Just took her for a bombing run, the sounds (comms and music!!), effects, and warnings make the experience very immersive! (seriously .. it's quite cinematic!) Excellent work to all involved!

Looks like something out of a Hunt for Red October scenario where Tom Clancy had A-10s on anti-ship patrol just-in-case... I also admit to some late night A-10 fun as if I was playing in a Red Storm Rising scenario, but with F-4Fs escorting my A-10:

Hi All, I think I started this very low-poly, "photoreal" fort years ago but it's somewhere stashed on one of my old hard drives. Are you guys all set on Forts? I thought Geezer put out a bunch of them and his stuff is of the highest quality already. Anyway, if there's still a need or interest I can try to hunt it down but if not that's perfectly fine too, just thought I'd check!

No. It is more enjoyable...but You can also set up everything on a keyboard. years ago when I was traveling a lot at work and i wanted to work on mods as well - I was using a laptop. And testing - playing without a joystick. And It is not hard, not so hard. I would say it is easy like brushing teeth. You just need to have comfy key mapping. I had no single issue with that. I was able to fly, here and there, do some dogfights, strafe ground targets, etc. All sorts of stuff as with joystick but on keyboard. still have my Test fighters install on laptop. throttle + / - (Z and X) rudder (A and S) general movement on arrows...the rest is just matter of easy access on the keyboard more like first-person shoooter....easy peasy.

Progress with the terrain is slower than expected. I have to change the tileset from bmp to jpg because the fps rate became to low.. Full squadron take off from airfield everywhere in northern France.
