15 pointsHello and Happy Happy Holidays to everyone, I wanted to take a moment and wish you all a blessed holiday season with happiness and health for you and your family throughout the new year to come in 2021. It's times like these that we look back in amazement and disbelief of the times we're living in. 2020 was hard on everyone and if things could go wrong it went wrong in 2020 with Corona Virus and Politics being front and center here in the United States. We've now spent months away from family and friends in isolation as we have learned to live in our new normal. These are unprecedented times that I for one will never be happier to put behind us. 2020 was especially hard for businesses and I feel fortunate that CA survived for now. Over all our donations last year brought in $615 to offset operating costs, thank you to all who helped out. Our advertising dwindled to almost nothing, specifically we received 28% of what we made in 2019 for advertising income as advertisers ran from expenses and businesses failed. Our subscriptions saw the lowest year on record and our cost of doing business went up 9.5% in July as costs of failing businesses got passed on to those of us who remained. This was definitely the year not to remember yet still with all the horror and red ink we consider ourselves lucky to still be standing. Yes it was bad for CA but there are many of us who saw worse times this year. People stood in voting lines and food lines here in America during a pandemic for the first time ever. We lost loved ones around the globe as we were divided with fear and misinformation. Jobs and businesses were lost all over our countries leaving tomorrow uncertain for many but throughout it all in a weird way we found some humanity. We reached out and helped where we could and lifted lives and spirits, I hope that continues. In the spirit of giving this season CA will be donating to Feeding America, Covenant House BC, The Trussell Trust UK, Banques Alimentaires FR, Tafel Deutschland, Leket Israel, and UNICEF to help feed those who need the assistance this winter. I wish we could do more but we're hoping doing our small part contributing to the whole is what matters. Merry Christmas everyone, E

The Fiat G.91 is an Italian jet fighter aircraft designed and built by Fiat Aviazione, which later merged into Aeritalia. The G.91 has its origins in the NATO-organised NBMR-1 competition in 1953, which sought a light fighter-bomber "Light Weight Strike Fighter" to be adopted as standard equipment across the air forces of the various NATO nations. After reviewing multiple submissions, the G.91 was picked as the winning design of the NBMR-1 competition. The G.91 entered into operational service with the Italian Air Force in 1961, and with the West German Luftwaffe in the following year. Various other nations adopted it, such as the Portuguese Air Force, who made extensive use of the type during the Portuguese Colonial War in Angola and Mozambique. The G.91 enjoyed a long service life that extended over 35 years. The G.91 remained in production for 19 years, during which a total of 756 aircraft were completed, including the prototypes and pre-production models. The assembly lines were finally closed in 1977. 1 pointSome were, others were fitted for but not installed as a cost-saving measure. Pretty sure they were installed on the IIIOFs, but not the IIIOA/Ds. I'm certain this didn't change when the fleet was standardised to the multirole IIIO standard in the 70s. The RAAF had to deal with a lot of cost cutting measures throughout the 70s and 80s, and a lot of planned equipment and upgrades like RWRs, ECM etc was never installed, or only installed as needed-- the F-111Cs never had RWRs, for example. It wasn't until we started deploying aircraft overseas to peacekeeping/joint task forces in the late 90s that things like RWRs began being fitted across the fleets. I think the F/A-18 was the first platform that had them equipped as standard. If you want a definite answer, there's a group on FB called Friends of the RAAF Mirage IIIO & IIID that's comprised of former pilots and ground crews who could tell you what's what. They're a pretty good bunch. :)

Proper mods take a severe toll in my laptop, so these are ini edits to provide a cockpit and make stock aircraft flyable using only stock resources. That being said, there are much better mods that are much closer to the real thing, i only provide this in case normal mods cause performance issues in your install These are a few files to make DLC28 LARAF and EAF Mirages flyable Requires SF2I and Mirage3EL DLC, as it uses Nesher and Mirage3EL cockpits I just added dtmdragon's sight fixes for Nesher and Mirage3Os, and audio RWR. There are more juicy mods around, but if you like keeping it down to a few INI fixes, this does the trick. Just drop contents in your SF2 mod folder and everything should go where it has to. If something goes wrong, blame me and me alone, and please send a PM with the issue, will fix ASAP. Can't promise anything since I've become a mature and dependable professional and I'm supposed to be busy all day, but tell me anyway. -

1 pointIn a campaign the squadrons are operating from airfields. In the data.ini of the campaign you can define which squadron is operating from one airfield. An airfield can operate only a certain number of squadrons. How many squadrons per airfield you find in the targets.ini of the terrain. For instance: [TargetArea001] Name= Lympne Position=839000.00,611000.00 Alignment=FRIENDLY Location=1 AirfieldDataFile=RAF_Lympne_Airfield.ini ActiveYear=0 Radius=4242.640625 NumSquadrons=4 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< This is the number how many squadrons can be operated from this airfield When the campaign is started, the game engine sometimes moves the squadrons to other airfields. If there are airfields without squadrons you will see no parked aircrafts. Only airfields with squadrons have parked airplanes.
-
1 pointTry setting the terrain INI to NavalMap=FALSE and in the campaign data.ini file, under [CampaignData], set NavalCampaign=FALSE You won't be able to fly off a carrier, but you may get parked aircraft on the land airbases.
-
1 pointthe game generates the parked aircraft automatically, via the Options/GroundObjects/setting extracting each airfield ini and raising the ParkedChange= to 100 will (ok, should!) create more parked birds. It also causes overlap issues with the larger aircraft (c-130s and up, including any add-on transports & bombers) why it's not doing it in campaigns, which should be using the same in-game setting for objects is something I don't know the why of!
