My 13 year old got into DCS this past October, so this was our Christmas break project. Don't judge the carpentry too harshly. All I own is skill saw, a jig saw, and a drill....and I'm a software guy.

For some reason Simulation was not detecting my GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card. Went to settings and made sure the computer was using that card. Now simulation loads fine. Running at High Graphics setting in game. Display Resolution at 3840 x 2160 x32. Simulation is "Rock Solid" at 60 frames per second. Thanks for the help...... Now to Explore.

Just completed the Howitzer it will be a low ploy model as having a full set of models as a set need to be low otherwise the game will run slow (thanks to swambast for the information)

War is random, doesn't matter how experienced, or good you are , eventually yer toast !! Richthhofen, a prime example, many factors also contribute to the outcome of a fight, technical problems, just having a shitty day, terrible hangover from that knees up in the mess last night, battle fatigue, overworked and under payed mechanics, bloody infantry taking pot shots at any aircraft that is unfortunate enough to fly over them ...Richthofen !! Yes of course if you have a superior machine, then you have an edge, as long as you go into the fight with a tactical advantage, if you get bounced by Snoopy in his dog house though whilst you are pootling around in the clouds minding your own business , then chances are you are buggered. So, the answer to your question is a resounding yup !!!

Looks very nice, but I'd like the option in Photoshop of changing the sectional map from Vietnam to say... the Kurils or the Middle East :-). Otherwise, perfection.

Just lower graphics settings. The mod features many custom 3d models with high quality 2K and 4K textures. If your graphics card is not good enough, it can easily run out of memory. The mod does not work with Intel's integrated graphics card, you must use a proper GPU. Your Event Log is useful, as you can see the crash is due to GraphicsEngineDX10.dll, which is the game's library responsible for the game engine using DirectX 10 libraries. DX10 was implemented rather poorly in SF2. I am hoping a proper Win10 update for SF2 happens, so that mods such as this can perform better on all PCs. That being said, a patch is in the making; the mod's quality has been improved even more and many bugs have been fixed. No release date yet, we're taking our time to do some quality work.

Trotski00; Maybe the observers don't have enough confidence in your pilot to take a chance flying with him!! Sorry,....I couldn't resist

As mentioned in another topic, I've been mulling over doing a Block III version of the Super Hornet, just to keep up with what's been going on. Right now I don't have a timeline (just been thinking about it) given that the Block III is still a work in progress in itself. The main issue has been the conformal fuel tanks that the Block III will supposedly have. So far the US Navy has been having issues with it and may axe them. I'll keep Googling it to catch any news often on but I want to wait until a final decision is made. If they go with it then there will be a new model (hopefully FastCargo can do it, or somebody else with the source models can do it) as well as a new cockpit for it. Again this is all a matter of conjecture right now as said, there isn't enough information around to make a final decision yet. The other issue will be the fuel tanks, but if FC can work on it we'll see what we can do.

Hello everyone, I have created three versions of aircraft sorting list for SF2 clean installation. Please note, I am using the symbol '>" at the end of the aircraft name to tell you if the aircraft contains the skin for another branch or nation. NOTE: (Nation) tag before aircraft name is directly based on what is coded in _DATA.ini. For example, A-4A is tagged as "USN" as nation in DATA, hence I tagged A-4A as (USN) instead of USMC. '>' = For aircraft that have skins for another branches '>>' = For aircraft that have skins for another nations '>>>' = For aircraft that have skins for another branches AND nations. For example, (USN) A-4A have a skin for USMC, hence it shows up as: (USN) A-4A Skyhawk > Il-28 "Beagle" have skin for other nations, it shows up as: (VVS) IL-28 "Beagle" >> (USN) A-7E Corsair II have the skins for another branches AND nations, it shows up as: (USN) A-7E Corsair II >>> Here are each versions of Aircraft list designed as: Version #1 - There are tags for a multi-branches. For example (USN / USMC) and (RN / RAF). it have '>>' tag only for aircraft with another nation skins. Version #2 - Uses '>', '>>', and '>>>' for aircraft that have skins for another branches and/or nations. Version #3 - A copy of version #2 with simplified years. Instead of using [Year], it uses 'year (last two decimals) Here are screenshots with new aircraft sorted list:

I fully understand vision loss!! My right eye started "coming apart" in late 2012. The layers of the cornea started seperating ("recurent cornea erosions") sort of like a CD/DVD de-laminating, or tire treads seperating. The pain was so intense, it felt like a railroad spike was being driven into my head, with constant tearing. So much so, I though I would dehydrate! AND....I'm the only driver for several people (wife, mom) After multiple lazic procedure to try and smooth it out -- which only worked temporarily, they did a partial corneal transplant, only on the region effected. They go in, suck out the layers of detached cells, implant donors, put an air bubble inside the cornea to help them bond. (oh, and btw, like cataract surgery --which I also had on that eye due to steroid crystilazation of the lens, you're awake through the whole things. watching from the inside. freaky man, i'm telling ya). Several more lazics were preformed, as the central area of the cornea dropped, instead of rebounding (the scans the Dr. showed me looks like a coral atoll, with central lagoon - the low spots But still, because the first opthalmalgist gave me wrong instructions for the post-op steroid drops, my eye pressures skyrocketed into the high 50s (10-15 is considered normal). This forces the eye back into the skull, pressing on the optic nerve. Thus, damaging the optic nerve, and costing me about 1/3 of my field of vision due to nerve death. That "blind spot" is in the upper left quadrant. Finally, in 2017 I was able to be treated with PROSE full scleral contact lenses (for that that don't know, they sit out on the white part of the eye, NOT on the colored cornea like regular lenses). This, at least gives me better vision, but not perfect in that eye. That'll never come back. so, I can feel you, man

Those of us that have (literally) spent a lifetime studying aircraft, already know "who has what". And we know "where" the aircraft are on the list because it's alphabetical by name. Easier to look for an aircraft name -which is far better known-, then the country. ------ For the in game screens, why not have them on opposite upper corners? keeps things at "eye line", radar t the left, rwr to the right

Added also the correct gun vents ( how sexy are the Tomcat lines in the second shot!)
