= For SF2, Any/All (Full 5 Merged RECCOMENDED!) = This is the release of Marcfighters Atlas Impala Mk.2, single seat COIN/Attack jet as used by the South African Air Force. This aircraft has/had languished for a considerable amount of time in that "hangar of forgotten & unfinished mods". I hope that this will correct that. This mod represents the Atlas Impala MK2, single seat attack jets. The mod uses all stock 3W weapons (which may need further research/adjustments). 25 all new historically correct SAAF serial number decals are included, and Randomization is TRUE These decals are used for both included skins. This is the SAAF -ONLY-, non exported version. No user list was created; the aircraft is single nation only. There are 2 skins, and "Early" and "Late"; the late uses the SF2-date switch and starts in 1982 When in-game, you'll see Atlas Impala MK.II (MB-326K SAAF) on the aircraft drop down selection panel. As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. The Uploader takes NO credit for the aircraft itself, only for those edits and adjustment to get it more in compliance with the SF2 Environment (tm). See "Notes" section for full change log and other VERy important statements. = Please Note: is models is released "AS IS". Anything that cannot be corrected/adjusted via ini edits will remain so for all time = Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein ** Important Note: if you install this to the Angola Mod, be advised that there exists an aircraft named Impala Mk.II. This should NOT conflict with it, but you may have some editing to do, as theirs is labeled "Stand In". It is not advised to just drop this one into that mod without further editing. ** UPDATED: 3/7/2019 "Early" skin has been repainted to remove national markings. All have now been replaced with decals. sf2_atlas_impala-mk2_v2_pack.7z -

1 pointHello everyone! Report for today: I have been quiet for a while. It has been a busy week with researching, talking with friends who have vast knowledge and experiences related to military aircraft, overhauling multi-nation F-4s, and overhauling the weapon pack so certain weapons are only available for certain aircraft. For example, the AGM-78 series are only available for A-6s, F-4G, and F-105G. At the same time, the only nations that operates AGM-78s outside of USAF and USN are South Korea and Israel. There is still a lot to do before I can finally move to A-4s, A-6s, A-7s, and other aircraft for weapon data and loadout.ini overhauls. You can see that the new loadout.ini are working now: ROKAF F-4D Phantom II with AGM-78s: ROKAF F-4E Phantom II There is one thing I realize, I often hit the wall where I need more information that is not easy to find. This is why when the next version of the beta gets released, the feedback will be very helpful for fixing the errors and inaccuracies in SFCE. Eagle114th

1 pointI just paint my roads onto the tiles as needed using layers in photoshop, once you get the knack of getting them to join up correctly it really doesn't take too long to do. So far in my Vietnam terrain I have between 15 and 25ish different road tiles for each type of surface.....grass, forest, fields etc etc, the stock ones are way to repetitive for my liking. I never use the TE.....it's waaaaaaayyyyy to much hassel for my simple mind, just paint 'em in PS & load 'em the the good old TFD tool & the jobs done......Then I make the TOD's to suit using Mue's superb Tod editor. Same goes for rivers, not rocket science really.

1 pointI have a flat object in the size 500x20 meters and one with 100x20 meters. This objects i place with target editor to create a road. But this will only work on perfect flat areas. Otherwise some parts of the road would sink in the hill, while other parts of the road are hanging in the air.

The Gloster Javelin was a twin-engined all-weather interceptor aircraft that served with Britain's Royal Air Force in the late 1950s and most of the 1960s. It was a T-tailed delta-wing aircraft designed for night and all-weather operations and was the last aircraft design to bear the Gloster name. Introduced in 1956 after a lengthy development period, the aircraft received several upgrades during production to its engines, radar and weapons, including support for the De Havilland Firestreak air-to-air missile. The Javelin was succeeded in the interceptor role by the English Electric Lightning, a supersonic aircraft capable of flying more than double the Javelin's top speed, which was introduced into the RAF only a few years later. The Javelin served for much of its life alongside the Lightning; the last Javelins were withdrawn from operational service in 1968 following the induction of successively more-capable versions of the Lightning. FAW 8 Upgraded Sa.7R engines with reheat, raising thrust to 12,300 lbf (54.7 kN) thrust above 20,000 ft (6,100 m); at lower altitudes, the limitation of the fuel pump caused a loss of cold thrust. New "drooped" wing leading edge and auto-stabilizer for better handling. Short nose. FAW 9 A total of 118 FAW 7s refitted with the revised wing and engines of the Mk 8. Wet pylons. Long nose. FAW 9R (range) fuel probe added. Special test modified plane. SF2 Hawker Sea Fury FB.11/Mk.60 DN (SB) Export Models Pack 1 6/21/2015 = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) = *Note: There is a distinct probability that this mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs at any patch level. End Users that attempt it, do so at their own risk. A Full 5 Merged install is reccomened at the LATEST patch level.* This package contains a NEW aircraft for SF2, the Hawker Sea Fury FB.11/Mk.60 Export, De-navalized versions by Skippybing. This is the reason the folder is named "Sea_FuryDN_sb". The "DN" stands for de-navalized. The tail hook has been removed by the data ini trick, and the wingfold deactivated. Skins included with the set are for the following units: Egyptian AF: No. 2 Squadron, REAF Iraqi AF (aka "Iraq Single Seat"): No. 7 Squadron, RIAF All skins are in jpg format, and Decal Randomization is TRUE. Almost all markings are decals (Iraqi serials are from PauloPanz' excellent upgrade of the orginal Sea Fury by Simon Porter; the EAF serials are mine), with the exception of the fuselage ID bands on both. Canopy operates via the 'standard animation keystrokes' (shift/0 for the window). Weapons are included (excepting the 60# rockets) as are the pilot figure and AvHistory engine sound. New DDS damage textures are included. These can be used on the other Skippybing Sea Fury's too. There are no hangar screens. When in-game, on the aircraft selection menu you'll see: Sea Fury FB.11/Mk.60 [sb] This not only tags is as "skippybing", but will diferentiate it from Simon Porter's older one, AND tells you it's the de-navalized, export version. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, take note of the "Legal and Usage Disclaimer', it's been changed for this aircraft. Good Hunting! Wrench Kevin Stein
