4 pointsthe 3rd and latest update is a digital AN/ALQ-131 EAPUP , the contract is from 2019 worth 44 million dollars and this pod will replace all existing AN/ALQ-131 pods , no idea if there will be a shallow version of it

2 pointsFor the skins to show by just clicking on the LOD you need to have the actual skin files "loose" in the same folder as the lod itself, not in a skins folder. Otherwise you have to go through the lod viewer but first you can either add the skin folder manually to the aircrafts main .ini or run the game to add it automatically.
-
2 pointsI had the same issue with my Super Hornets. Try the ini itself, not the LOD. I think that's what I did to see the textures myself.

1 pointi knew that. my confusion was if you were or were not firing the game up, even if for a few seconds, between major skin changes (non imagery based) you could type it in the aircraft.ini, but the game will do it as well and that way you only have one thing to focus on not getting typos

1 pointHas your aircraft ini file got the skin details? [TextureSet001] Directory=10TFS Name=10th TFS, 50th TFW Nation=USAF Squadron=10TFS Specular=0.200000 Glossiness=0.200000 Reflection=0.150000

1 pointi found more on the EAPUP , the contract to Northrop-Grumman for the upgrade was awarded in 2012 , the 44 million contract i mention above is the 3rd additional order placed this is the original text from Airforce Technology " the US Air Force (USAF) has awarded the third production order to Northrop Grumman for the Electronic Attack Pod Upgrade Program (EAPUP). The $44m order is part of an existing contract and will significantly increase the number of EAPUP systems for the USAF. In April 2012, Northrop Grumman secured a $52.8m, 27-month engineering and manufacturing development (EMD) contract to upgrade the USAF’s electronic attack (EA) pods. The programme included EMD, a low-rate initial production phase (LRIP) and five production options. Northrop Grumman’s upgraded, digital AN/ALQ-131 pod is designed to operate in support of A-10, C-130, F-15 and F-16 aircraft and aircrews. The EAPUP solution will replace the service’s current EA pods. " so this pods may be in service already for some time , sadly i cant find any pictures of them , if you find one please send it to me

1 pointThis doesn't answer any of your questions, but I thought this was a very informative sales-brochure from Northrop-Grumman: google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwiI-rCQ49WEAxW0RDABHYkYAVoQFnoECCkQAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fdefense-arab.com%2Fvb%2Fattachments%2F61036%2F&usg=AOvVaw3-UqYWhEYhVEBzcohb5wUd&opi=89978449

1 pointI'm still playing from time to time. Mostly on the Eastern Front and the Spanish Civil War. Still modding a little bit too.

1 pointSu-25 Czechoslovakian Air Force end 1980th. The insignias on the right wing are in wrong direction. The basic rule for czech insignias is, the Blue is always to the front, the Red is always toward the fuselage.

1 pointWhy not just add an invisible skid? Just add this under the landinggear section of the planes data.ini and adjust the ContactPoint-values and it should work. luk1978 posted this as a solution for belly landings a while ago and it works very well. [Skid] SystemType=LANDING_GEAR Retractable=FALSE IsSkid=TRUE NoContactOnGround=true HideGearNode=true ModelNodeName= ShockStroke=0.05 SpringFactor=0.2 DampingFactor=2.1 ContactPoint=-0.64,-2.5,-0.85 RollingCoefficient=1.0 MaxLoadFactor=25.0

1 pointCheck the entry MaxPitchForAltitude= in the [AIData] section of the aircraft's Data.INI. The stock figure from AircraftAIData.INI is (from memory) 15, which is too high for WW2 aircraft. Try reducing it to 10 -12 for a WW2 fighter, and 8-10 for a WW2 bomber, and see if that fixes the problem.
