    EF2000 Typhoon Add-on February 13th, 2025 (1st Release) by GKABS, Bongodriver, ace888, compufat and Menrva >For Strike Fighters 2 games This is a complete add-on of the EF2000 Typhoon aircraft, featuring all of its Real World operators. The original model by Bongodriver has been overhauled by GKABS with additional details, including a proper PIRATE System built into the aircraft's 3d model. The package currently includes the following operators and relative skins produced by ace888, GKABS and compufat, with tweaks by yours truly where needed for quality consistency: -Royal Air Force, 15 skins -German Air Force, 14 skins -Italian Air Force, 9 skins -Spanish Air Force, 5 skins -Austrian Air Force, 2 skins -Royal Saudi Air Force, 2 skins -Kuwait Air Force, 2 skins -Qatar Emiri Air Force, 1 skin -Royal Air Force of Oman, 1 skin I further polished the package by adding historically accurate weapon loadouts for all operators throughout the years, my own selection of sounds, new cockpit and HUD textures and other smaller tweaks here and there. The incredibly detailed weapons included in the package are the courtesy of ravenclaw_07. Notes: -The aircraft folder is named "EF2000". In order to avoid mismatches and bugs of any sort, it's highly suggested to either remove or rename any pre-existing "EF2000" folder you might have. -You need to tweak the SoundList.ini file in order to fully experience any new sounds. Read "(Add to SoundList)" for further details, and remember to extract the SoundList.ini file from the FlightData.cat archive, if you do not have a custom one in your mod folder already. >Credits (in no particular order): -GKABS, for reworking the original aircraft 3d model by Bongodriver, for skins and decals for Kuwait and Qatar and for his reworked templates. -ravenclaw_07, for his fantastic high quality recreations of missiles, bombs and pods. -ace888, for reworking the original add-on by Bongodriver with several new skins and decals for all operators of the time. -compufat, for supporting this project with skins of special liveries. -Bongodriver, for his original EF2000 aircraft and cockpit 3d models and for the skin templates. -My girlfriend, for supporting me in all of my endeavors.

    ---------------------------------------------------------- STRIKE FIGHTER 2: AVIONICS COMMUNITY PACK (SF2: ACP) v0.4 ---------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to SF2: ACP first release of alpha. Before I explain about the pack, I want to express big thank to the wonderful communities and modders of Combatace and Combat Flight Sim Tavern (Discord), including Thirdwire for the simulation. You all are the reasons why this pack exists. I want to use the passions to improve SF2 into next level with avionics. This requires a lot of research, reading flight manual, and tons of tweaking the texture, and avionics and cockpit ini, along with countless of testing in-flight in SF2. The mods is not perfect, we do our best with the mods. We do it with the joys of our hobbies! This pack includes the following features: - New gunsight / optical sight - New texture for radar, RWR, and another avionic equipment - Improved cockpit and radar through cockpit and avionics ini tweaks for semi-realism (See note #2) - Improves glass texture (If possible) - Accessibility - Optional, includes the AAM firing cue on gunsight for people who can not hear the sounds of missile locking on targets. - Improved night lights inside cockpits - Tweaks to the view angle around cockpit NOTE #1: As mentioned in note #1, due to little resources (Information / data) on early cold war era radar, at least half or most of tweaks are based on an educated guess. For exampe, AN/APG-33 radar that is used with E-1 FCS in F-89B and C, there are some data on it, but no data on elevator nor azimuth angle limitation. ---------------------------------------------------------- ----------------- HISTORICAL VS FICTIONAL ---------------- ---------------------------------------------------------- Avionics overhaul for Historical vs fictional aircraft I am dong overhaul for both historical and 'what if' fictional aircraft. For example, in this alpha version, there are avionics overhaul for F-8A to F-8K, along with France F_8s. It also includes 'what if' JASDF F-8EJ Crusader. ---------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------- INSTALLATION ---------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------- There are readme inside each aircraft folder, please read the instruction to install the mods. NOTE: There is a folder "_OPTIONAL - RWR", by default, RWR always have texture. If you want TW style version of RWR, you can replace the RWR with the provided RWR texture from that folder. ---------------------------------------------------------- ------------- GUNSIGHT / OPTICAL SIGHT SYSTEM ------------ ---------------------------------------------------------- The new version of SF - CAP now have new gun system (texture and MILs) From now on, all guns have texture of 512 x 512, which is 150 MILs. In order, to use the new gunsight / optical sight, you MUST set MILs to 150 in cockpit.ini or ImageSize=0.2025 in avionics (HUD) When I created the optical sights, I measured the MILs of gunsight by pixels For example 512 pixel width is 150 MILs For example: For 100 / 50 / 25 MILs, it is 341 / 171 / 85 pixels ---------------------------------------------------------- ------------------- TEMPLATES SITUATION ------------------ ---------------------------------------------------------- Due to steer size of projects, I am more focused on creating texturs for avionics overhaul. It is taking a lot of my time and I rather to focus and finish the projects in time. Therefore, from SF - CAP v0.4 onward, it no longer have TEMPLATE folder. And to add, with the new gunsight / optical sight, it requires new templates too. However, if any of you want the templates for certain aircraft's avoinics, you can contact me by posting in SF - CAP thread or PM me in CombatAce.     SF2 F-16A Block 1 (TMF) Pack 6/28/2024 -For SF2, Any and All-(SF2:I Required, Full 5 Merged Suggested) - Another 1stGen Salvage Operation - This is a rebuild of TMF's F-16A Block 1 Fighting Falcon. This is =JUST= the block 1, with its short life span (78-90, including exported/European built versions). Having SF2:I is required, as this mod makes use of the Netz's destroyed model. This mod is set up and labeled to cause =NO= conflicts with the myriad of F-16 mods, both based off the Third Wire Netz or any add-on Vipers. Skins remain in their original bmp format, in their original size and resolution. Most markings are decals, with the exception of some painted on national markings. Decal Randomization is TRUE. Each skin is provided with 24 historically correct serial number decals (for the A block 1). All necessary items are provided; drop tanks. decals, pilots, sounds, and so forth. Weapons used are all stock in-game items. If I missed anything, PLEASE let me know and I'll get it fixed. Please read the "Notes" for how to select the alternative STRIKE loadout. The canopy operates with the Standard Animations Keystroke (tm), Shift/0 (zero). The refueling door operates with the Shift/1 (one) keystroke. This also makes use of the expanded RWR listings, and hopefully I've gotten all them tgas together. The aircraft is supplied with 3 skins for the original "starting" Air Force users: USAF: 16th TFS, 388th TFW Belgian Air Force: No.359 Squadron (<1979) Netherlands Air Force (KLU) No.322 Squadron (<1980) Those squadrons in the stock 3W squadronlist.ini (BAF & KLU) have their displayed name activated via either my (patent pending) fake SqTail decal, or a squadron badge decal, or both. When in-game, on the Aircraft Selection Drop down you'll see: F-16A Blk 1 Fighting Falcon (TMF) So you can't mistake it for anything other than what it is. This will also differentialize THIS one from the many other Falcon mods zipping around, including the stock 3W one. As always fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included.     The Sukhoi Su-17 (NATO reporting name: Fitter) is a Soviet variable-sweep wing fighter-bomber developed from the Sukhoi Su-7. It enjoyed a long career in Soviet, later Russian, service and was widely exported to Eastern Bloc, Arab air forces, Angola and Peru as the Su-20 and Su-22. It is the first variable-sweep wing of Soviet origin. These are earlier models. In fact I saw a lot of fantastic pictures about it, but years went by and no Sukhoi was realised. So I lost any hope about it and decided to finish up my very ancient skinpack using Y. Gordon book. This plane has the same dorsal antenna I wanted to delete, but I think is quite good, now in a far better dressing than original one and this is the only one Sukhoi we have to fit in all comunity scenarios.     Not another Sea Harrier FA2 I hear you say.........well...yes. Original Mirage Factory max file extensively rebuilt by me, too many modifications to mention, same goes for the pit. Backup any other versions you may have as unlike a lot of mods posted on here nowadays I'm not telling you to dump other folks hard work because mine is better.....you decide for yourselves (rant mode off). You WILL need Thrust Vectoring set up in your controls to fly this thing. Please read the ReadME......without it this thing would not of got released.. Mirage Factory product. Have fun.

    Mirage IIIC (SEPR) The new fighter design was named the Mirage III. It incorporated the new area ruling concept, where changes to the cross section of an aircraft were made as gradual as possible, resulting in the famous "wasp waist" configuration of many supersonic fighters. Like the Mirage I, the Mirage III had provision for a SEPR rocket engine. The prototype Mirage III flew on 17 November 1956, and attained a speed of Mach 1.52 on its 10th flight. The prototype was then fitted with manually operated intake half-cone shock diffusers, known as souris ("mice"), which were moved forward as speed increased to reduce inlet turbulence. The Mirage III attained a speed of Mach 1.8 in September 1957. The success of the Mirage III prototype resulted in an order for 10 pre-production Mirage IIIA fighters. These were almost two meters longer than the Mirage III prototype, had a wing with 17.3% more area, a chord reduced to 4.5%, and an Atar 09B turbojet with afterburning thrust of 58.9 kN (13,230 lbf).     The Farragut class was the second destroyer class of the United States Navy to be named for Admiral David Glasgow Farragut. The class is sometimes referred to as the Coontz class, since Coontz was first to be designed and built as a guided missile ship, whereas the previous three ships were designed as all-gun units and converted later. Ten Farragut-class ships were ordered between 1955 and 1957. Each ship displaced 5,800 tons under full load, with a length of 512 feet (156 m), a 52-foot (16 m) beam and a top speed of 33 knots (61 km/h). Originally commissioned as guided missile frigates (DLG), they were redesignated as guided missile destroyers (DDG) under the fleet realignment in 1975. They were also the only redesignated ships to be renumbered as well under the realignment, with the first unit changing from DLG-6 to DDG-37 and all subsequent vessels being renumbered upwards in order. All ships of the class were decommissioned between 1989 and 1994 and subsequently scrapped.
