Awesome! I'd never heard this story. Do you happen to have any references, just in case someone wanted to learn more? Edit. Nevermind, just saw which forum I was in. Dangit, thought I had something new to research.

Israel Aircraft Industries 'Yeger' - Hunter Aggressor Flight, Israeli Air Force In the aftermath of the 1973 Yom Kippur War the Israeli Air Force examined it's aircraft losses (officially 102 aircraft but considered by many to have been higher) and in very much the same way as the USAF and USN had done they decided to embark upon an improved air combat training programme. In early 1974 four unmarked Hawker Hunter fighters in standard RAF camo arrived at Be'er Sheva Airfield where the Israeli Air Force had constructed a small temporary hangar adjacent to the Israel Aircraft Industries facility at Be'er Sheva. Whilst the UK Government consistently denied the supply of the four Hunter aircraft it would later be revealed that the aircraft were drawn from the Hunter wing at RAF Wittering and flown by civilian contractor pilots normally attached to BAC. The Hunter aircraft were quickly refurbished to emerge as the IAI 'Yeger' (Hunter) and equipped the Israeli Air Force's Hunter Aggressor Flight based at the nearby Hatzerim Airbase providing dissimilar air combat training for the Israeli Air Force. In 1976 the Hunter Aggressor Flight was boosted by the arrival of two ex-Kuwaiti Hunter FGA.57's and operated the type until 1991 when the unit disbanded.

The only version of Strike Fighters officially supported for Windows 10 will be released after May 2020: Some people might have SF Project 1 running on Win 10 - however if something breaks the game there is little you can do................ so in the long run best to get the newer version that is supported on Windows 10...............that is the best advice I can give you.

Technically Strike Fighters Project 1 and the rest of the first series were for Windows XP (and some earlier versions of Windows only) and are NOT SUPPORTED on Win 7 or later. What version of Windows do you run now? - the easiest thing would probably be to buy a version supported on your OS - I have never tried that version on Win 10 myself.

Your picture shows not a weapon, but a soviet version of the "Sänger Projekt", called "Kosmoljot". The vehicle shows civil markings, the soviet flag and the cyrillic letters "CCCP", transfered to latin letters "SSSR" or translated into english "USSR".

Maybe he is hero ? He dropped canopy and seat to make plane lighter and went to engine section to check what is wrong ? Another option ... it was too big G during ejection and he is still on seat, but so flat that invisible ?

Slowly it goes on. redone all decals & stencils. Now only the F-16 sheme (including stencils) is left for KLU NF-5Bs

Hmmm, let's say, combining all binaries, tools, installs, storage and version controlled stores... Behold my insanity, mortals ! Files : 5 041 927 Folders : 361 580 Size : about 2.57TB And that's fairly conservative because the largest part resides on a compressed partition and half of it are archives (the largest being one 24GB file, which unarchived would be 160GB and about 400k files). To be fair, that also includes some research material mixed in. The oldest file is from January 2003 (Deuce's Euro Terrain). Even for the part that is properly tagged, indexed and linked to my search engine, it takes quite some time to find anything. Never worry about the space you devote to your hobbies, there's always a madman out there who will make you look reasonable. :D

somewhere around (or soon after) 1959, the VPAF started with some transport aircraft. No.919 Transport regiment had a gaggle of AN-2, Li-2 and IL-14. These are not what ifs, but real(ish) Here's a Li-1 "cab" from Paulo's Li-2 shin pak This is a rather generic looking Il-14 'Crate'. I found no information, other then the regiment, no picutres not a thing! ANd I can't find my copy of the Red Star book on the Crate that I used when Veltro built it!! So, it has stock 3W VPAF serials.

No. Sf2 community/modders have bigger fetish for realism...

I see I have to change the tail code; I went the "traditional" method of individual letters. Easy fix. I (re)used the stock Matra 155s, renamed and created a A-A rocket (like I did for the Scorpions) from the 68mm SNEB. The sites I saw for the 26N said 8 aircraft converted. I used generic serial, except for 2 seen in a photo, and another a profile. Easy enough to make new decals of the serials listed above. Left the wing guns in place, as we don't have a dual-50 cal gun pod. this is just one of those "make do" projects, while I'm waiting for the Vietnam 48 to be fixed by Menrva. It will, however, BE release when I'm (more or less) satisfied with it. Don't know how it'll be used in game...with no proper NW Africa terrain..sigh. this is a GREAT help!!!
