2 pointsOk, I've mostly solved my eyestrain issues. I'm using an Oculus Rift CV1, and using DCS for comparison, since DCS gives me zero eyestrain. Here's what I changed: Vorpx: Pixel: 1:1 Image Zoom: 1.0 3D Reconstruction: Z Adaptive 3D Strength: 0.99 Depth Weighting Near- Far: 0.44 (ETA: I'm still playing with this setting.) Depth of Field: Off Focal Offset: 0.01 (this one was important. I had to set it to 0.01 and then adjust everything else. 0.03 was much too strong for me.) Strike Fighters 2: -Options.ini: DisplayWidth=2400 (This res is effectively super sampling since a Rift CV1 is 1080x1200) DisplayHeight=2400 AspectRatio=1.000000 -Viewlist.ini: FOV=96.0 (I found that the FOV here seems to refer to vertical, not horizontal FOV) MaxFOV=96.0 OffsetDistance=0.001 (This is a universal setting that controls fore and aft camera offset. Positive numbers move the camera in front of the pivot point. Default value has you swinging your head around in VR like a turtle. Nausea inducing.) -[aircraft]_cockpit.ini As mentioned above MaxYaw=360 MinYaw=-360 MaxPitch=360 MinPitchFront=-360 MinPitchRear=-360 Plus adding and tweaking the following value, per [aircraft]_cockpit.ini: Offset=0.0,-0.1,0.0 (This changes the pivot point of the camera, as opposed to the Offset value in Viewlist.ini. I use this value to sit a little further back from the dash in the F-4, for instance.) Now all I need to do is search the forum to find out how to modify view distance so aircraft models in-game aren't going invisible only half a mile away. :) Thanks for finding a way to get Vorpx working with Strike Fighters guys! It's SO hard to go back to Track IR once you've flown in VR. :)

1 pointThe training missiles have them as those are the forward fitting points of the wings on the live ones, on those the 'motor" section is replaced by either instruments or just ballast weights. The one on your pic is some sort of hybrid, as the motor section seem to be shorter - that appearance probably coming from the differently mounted wings position. The fully winged ones with the black stripes (airshows and static display items) - if I know correctly - are dummies or ballast versions so practice flights are more realistic for wight load but not using up the 'live' missile's carry hours.

SF2 DHC-1 Chipmunk Pack 2/25/2020 -For SF2, Any and All (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended, plus Exp 1) This is a remake & reissue of the the DHC-1 Chipmunk trainer aircraft first released in 2008 by "Big Al". It has been reworked to bring it more into compliance with SF2 standards, as best as possbile. Be advised, there are a number of issues & flaws; they are enumerated in the "Notes" section. This is the full aircraft, with all necessary parts. The skin maps, still in bmp format, have been slightly repainted to allow the use of decals for insignia, 'plane-in-squad' letters and serial numbers. Serial numbers, while historically accurate for the version depicted, should be considered generic in nature. Decal randomizaion is TRUE. As exported is TRUE, a user list has been created. It does not list all the Chipmunk's export users. End Users (tm) are encouraged to fill it in as needed. While this is an exceptionally old model, the canopy does work via standard manual animation keystroke (Shift/0 -zero). Expansion Pack 1 is required for the destroyed model (Spitfire). If you do not have it, you'll have to find another to use in it's place. As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. Please see the "Notes" section for a list of changes to make the aircraft more SF2 compliant, and certain other explinations. The original release readme, from 2008, is included within the aircraft's main folder. Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein -

SF2 Vichy French Air Force, Tiger Moth Skin UPgrade 2/25/2020 -- Something for Fun -- = For SF2 Any and All= A small upgrade for LloydNB's Vichy French Tigermoth, as used in Indochina in the early 1940s. It is, obviously, for use on RussoUK's DH Tigermoth. The aircraft itself is available at the following URL: https://combatace.com/files/file/14081-sf2-ww2-dh-tigermoth-by-russouk/ This is a very simple mod; just a quickie repaint to remove the original painted on fuselage number, and the addition of 18 "plane-in-squad" numbers. No historical accuracy is claimed, as I've only found one image of the aircraft, and it had the number 5 on it. As said above, something just for fun! Enjoy! Wrench Kevin Stein -with thanks to LloydNB for the original skin!!- -
