This aircraft mod represents Dassault's what-if Mirage 4000M naval figthter and its dual seat M2 variant in the French Navy service. This package comes with 2 skin sets for each variant, 2 squadron specific for M (15 planes), and 2 sets for single squadron (6 planes) for M2. This model is meant for SF2 games only, SF1 variants will be uploaded at the SF1 section. Install is the regular dropping the contents in their respective places. In case you have the previous variants you can skip the overwrite prompt of weapons, effects and flight folder contents as those items are identical. Please note: The model can be quite heavy on FPS in large formations on weaker machines, so if required, either resize skin files or use lower lod(_nd) as lod1. The model uses the general french weapons, either as part of weapon packs or the Mirage 2000 family. Important: The M2 variant comes with 2 types of cockpit, the basic setup will use a simple pit that has only the pilots cabin instrumented. The other is a fully modeled front and rear compartment, in which you want to fly you should activate the proper line in the AC's.ini file. CockpitDataFile=Mirage4000M2_Cockpit.ini <---- basic setup ;CockpitDataFile=Mirage4000M2_Cockpit_full1.ini <------ front seat ;CockpitDataFile=Mirage4000M2_Cockpit_full2.ini <------ rear seat Be aware - the piloting seat position can not be changed during/in game, so chose wisely! Make sure to read the manual included with the package. ---------------------- Creators of these Aircraft mods as members of CombatAce site: Original 3D work: Cocas Aircraft 3d update and additional changes: Logan4 Cockpit 3d work: Logan4 Aircraft FM: Cliff7600 Aircraft avionics: Loborojo, Cliff7600, logan4 Skin files and decals: Flogger23, Cliff7600, logan4, loborojo Cockpit files: Logan4, Cliff7600 Thanks to Crusader for additional brochure files Big thanks to members of CombatAce for helping and answering our questions and in sorting out some of the issues we got while creating this mod. 2 pointsThey are not missing, they are stock game's TGA files. They can be extracted from FlightData.cat. Always repeating the basics, here...

1 pointMi-24B was never in operational use. It was only prototype because the pilots disliked the glashouse style cockpit. Thatswhy the Mi-24D was developed. It had the weapon system of the Mi-24B and the new cockpit design. The MI-24A was used by the Soviets and Afghanistan, as far as i know.

1 pointI already knew that. It was a desperate measure. Not such a good advice indeed.

1 pointTK has no reason to be bothered by this issue. Bomber aircraft were not meant by him for player use, they are for AI use only. There are more important issues that TK should fix instead.

1 pointFor dog sake. Do you really need to quote the whole post with all those screenies? We have seen that nearly a year ago...While allenjb42 post was enjoyable at the time ...your quote is not. Definitely not. Really hard to see a point of copying those pictures and asking questions while you could use a private message system - which works perfectly fine on this forum. not to mention ...You did not bring anything valuable to the screenshot thread from yourself. as for screenie.. my new substitutes for the most common stock ground objects...

1 pointLook what arrived in the post just in time for the weekend! Michael, this is a great book, very readable and really nicely set out. Do you have a reliable list of users by model? At the moment I'm interested in who operated the early versions, Mi-24A and Mi-24B. Once again, well done on this.

PBP-2-3S Monsun dual IR rack A dual Atoll missile rail that was designed and used outside the USSR during the 60's with the Polish and East Gearman (LSK) Air Forces on the MiG-21PF(SPS) fighter jets untill the MiG-21MF/Bis versions entered in service. Model was created based on the few available pictures and scale model brochures so could have minor diferences. The rack model is for Thirdwire SF2 series. Installation: Follow the content of ReadMe file Copy all files into specific folders. Optional: In case you want to use this pylon on MiG-21MF/Bis versions you can find the relevant setting data in the given txt files - only for outside pylons. If you have a stock _data.ini then simply copy each section (systemname/station) to your main AC file and save it. In case you have an edited _data.ini file then change station and pylon ID-s as required. For stock set simply copy over the loadout.ini and allow to overwrite. In case you have a modified loadout file then copy over the relevant sections and renumber as required. The weapon data.ini is set with "SpecificStationCode" so it will only show up on those weapon stations where the parameters are set so no double loading will happen. Credit: Model, texture, ini edits by me. Previous testings done by Gepard, dast24 and me. Stock files: TW This addon to be used/modified according to the CombatAce Freeware Agreement. Enjoy! Logan4 -
