I got a fairly decent laptop recently, able to play modern stuff, but still i get issues with FPS in the game when i have mods in, specially those which take more space. Looks like it is due to using Win 10 with the Win 7 generation. So either i run very few mods, and have parts of the game contrast heavily with one another in the game, or i keep close to none. So what i do on my install is to make certain "mods" that are mostly nothing but ini edits and reused stock stuff to get some slight improvements in the game while keeping the mod folder as light as possible. Examples of this include an expanded campaing in Iceland or Mirage cockpits adapted to make DLC 28 Mirages flyable, but i have several others in use in my install. So what i was wondering is if anybody was interested in "fixes" like that in order to get them more or less polished and shared here

Something to remember, SARS-COV-2 is the VIRUS and COVID-19 is the DISEASE. We spread and are infected with SARS-COV-2 which then develops into COVID-19 exactly like being infected with HIV which then develops into AIDS. Like all diseases we never know if we've cured them or simply pushed them into remission. Remission is the likely stage that people get to when they return to some type of health, similar to having AIDS or even cancer. That's why it is so important to not get infected with the VIRUS SARS-COV-2 in the first place. I wish our government had drilled this fact home for the non-maskers and led with truth and knowledge not the subversion, masking, and lies we got. I argue they are complicit in every single death from COVID-19 to date in the US and other nations. The long term affects after people have COVID-19 is known as Long Hauler Syndrome and it's causing all kinds of problems in the vascular system and within organs of the body. Blood clots, heart issues, lung issues, and kidney issues have all been reported so it's important to monitor your health after being ill and to take the time to recover even if that's months.

That's true and I'm very glad of the job you're done! I love that finally can use the F-8C with four 'Winders with the VF-24 for example ( love this squadron and made the appropriate change in the number list to have it in the 4xx range of Modex). What I mean is if you or someone else know how work the assignament of the decals to specific squadrons by the game ( I know that can be edited the appropriate lines in the decals inis). As you already knew, the squadrons rotated on the various 27C carriers during the Viet War, and this is a complication for the decals, but have the correct carrier name on the planes will be great ( for other planes also) Last stuèid thing,I'll expect that also the basic F-8C will be able to load the Y rack,is there a specific reason to ignore it? Only couriousity

I wish you luck. My sister was at the frontline too and she was miserable for several weeks after killing the bug off, while she is 26, the thing is people take time but usually get to recover fully, i hope you can do too.

or the old fashioned way of having a custom mission, and then manually editing the 'start position' of you aircraft over the specific target area (@ 500-1000m alt), and locating the offset -write it down!!- and then editing the targets ini. (past master of this I am!!! )

You have to add the data to the types.ini first, then add the objects individually to the targets.ini. There is a discussion about how this is done somewhere in the SF1 knowledge base. Mue also made a Target Area Editor to simplify this. (Mue's Target Area Editor does not work on my machine so I do it with a text editor.)

I work at the local drive-in Testing Unit (as a steward) and went 14 weeks without an issue but my luck ran out and I was sent home on Christmas Eve eventually testing positive on the 26th. The first few days were nightmarish and I've blanked them out. I turned a corner on New Years Day and my sense of smell/taste quickly returned. My health is so far behind where it was (I was cycling in and working an 11-hour day) and my employer (NHS) don't seem that bothered about me so I might just send in an email confirming my poor health and asking for support.
