I never joke about terrain objects well, the objects themselves are the jokes...

Thank you @MenrvaI just found out after reading what you stated that I have it set as CarrierBaseSize=SMALL for the helicopter taking off and landing that made it an aircraft carrier and that only allows me to have only one. so I needed to make another set of the Niteroi Frigate without a helicopter command to make a formation.

Novalogic terrains ported by gerwin (while Menrva took design decisions on matters such as target areas, terrain surroundings, water maps, etc.) are great for getting nostalgic and solving some grudges

This was solved several yrs. ago for FE2, also on several prop aircraft in my small, early WW2 prop packs for SF2. The trick is to include "MaxG" entries for various lift/flying surfaces in the data inis, such as for wing inner, middle, outer panels, etc., as well as for the left/right stab entries for the horizontal stabilizer - the value may also be introduced for control surfaces such as elevators, ailerons, etc. The "StructuralFactor" value helps somewhat - but the main solution is to implement "MaxG" entries across several sections of data inserts in the data inis. Usually there is only one "MaxG" entry under the "Flight Control" of a stock data ini - but that is largely there only to limit the AI behavior. For a more thorough post on the subject, I recommend this old FE2 thread: https://combatace.com/forums/topic/90029-tweak-for-more-dangerous-power-dives/?tab=comments#comment-727517 Happy flying and MaxG testing, Von S

Ahh I don't push my jet that hard to break it. I fly normal FM so that's probably why I never broke a wing or the jet.

Yeah American tanks never used a ranging machine gun to my knowledge as technology was quite advancing pretty rapidly. Matter of fact the M1 Abrams revolutionized tank warfare by being able to shoot on the move, or was the first tank to do so.

As far as I know, formation types for ships are only meant for cargo ships (ShipConvoy) and patrol boats, both types are used as random target objects during anti-ship missions. Warships such as Frigates have no formation type assigned, it's the game that automatically creates naval fleets depending on the terrain's nature (NavalMap=TRUE) and on the terrain's nations list. If you use the Mission Editor, you must go to the other tab which lets you create a naval fleet instead (it's that button with an aircraft carrier and other ships around).

Seems to be the MiG LMFS prototype or mock up. The russians are working on this plane since a couple of years. This plane could be seen as a confession, that the Su-57 is to expensive for a nation with mediocre economic power like Russia.

You can play SF2, Ace Combat, Project Wingman, Vector Thrust, et al with gorgeous looking Phantoms with various degrees of complexity now, *OR* You could spend the next month grinding 10 hours a day, 7 days a week, battling ping, lag, rubberbanding and dodgy players who never run out of ordinance and never seem to die to see what WT has on offer on either side of their paywall. Entirely up to you dude, we're not going to judge either way. Personally, I'd like to give WT a crack, but our flash new whizz-bang (and strategically knobbled) $60 billion dollar broadband service here in Oz has only just reached 1992-era levels of latency, so it'll continue to be a what-if for most of us here for the foreseeable future.

Unveiling a new fighter, or a new PR campaign directed at the West? Where Russia falls short on technical acumen (the fantastic Su-27/30/34/35 series notwithstanding), they more than make up for it with flashy media releases that overstate their technical prowess and military strength. It's interesting this is happening now, after a tumultuous year of widespread civil unrest...

View File SF2 F-102A (v2k) 159th FIS Fl ANG Skin & Decal Pack SF2 F-102A (v2k) 159th FIS Fl ANG Skin & Decal Pack 7/14/2021 -For SF2 =ONLY= (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended) This package contains a replacement skin and decal set for Veltor2K's F-102A Delta Dagger. This skin represents the 159th Fighter Interceptor Squadron "Boxin' Gators" of the Florida Air National Guard from 1960 thru 1974. The original skin is found in the "Operation Tainted Cigar" campaign. The remake of this skin was inspired by some screenshots Viggen posted in the CA SF2 Screenshots thread. Since the decaling was totally inaccurate, I took it upon myself to "make it correct". 26 all new, 100% historically accurate serial number decals were created, including the correct Air National Guard fuselage tag. Decal randomization is TRUE. On the skin/unit selection drop down menu, on the Loadout screen you'll see: 159th FIS FL ANG (60-74) With luck, this change will not effect the OTC campaign data ini. If so, End Users (tm) may have to do a little text editing to correct the skin's folder name or displayed name in campaign data ini. I don't know enough about campaign structure to give any real advice. As is always recommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE read them, before installing!!! Happy Landings! If i remember correctly "Opie" was the american spelling of the german word "Opi", what means "Grandpa". The car, a Sachsenring P601 Trabant, was bought by the Squadron and was used as "Follow Me" car in the early 1990th. The picture was taken at Jacksonvill AFB Florida. The name on the door is "Col Chuck Ickes". He was commander of this Airbase. He retired in a rank of Major General. I dont know, wheter the car is still in use.

Mirage F1ED This mod is dedicated to BPAO, nothing would have been possible without him. Libyan Air Force received 16 F1AD, 6 F1BD & 16 F1ED aircraft. All were grounded but twelve were contracted for refurbishment, of which only four were returned to service.Of these twelve, two were taken to Malta when their pilots defected. France will renovate Libya's small fleet of Mirage F1s and train its personnel as part of a defence co-operation agreement signed in 2012. Three Mirage F1 were reported lost during the western 2019 offensive. Covered unit : 1012th Fighter "Interceptor" Squadron. GAN post 2012 aircrafts. This addon is and will in all cases remain freeware. Released under CombatAce Fair-Use terms. Enjoy The Mirage F-1 Team.

Thanks to you for the feedback! We're glad you like it. The January release was kind of rushed, so that version is filled with bugs here and there. If all goes as planned, this August a much better package will be released!
