Vipers Over Bosnia Part 1: USAFE F-16C/Ds During Operation Deny Flight In April 1993, NATO had documented over 500 unauthorized military flights over Bosnian airspace since the United Nations passed Resolution 781 that prohibited those flights. The Umited Nations then passed Resolution 816 that extended the flight ban to all fixed and rotary wing in the country and authorized memeber states to use all measures need to comply. On 12 April 1993, NATO began Operation Deny Flight, combat air patrols to enforce the no fly zone over Bosnia Herzogovina. In June 1993, Resolution 836 allowed NATO to also provide close air support to UNPROFOR on request (This was not often used because requests had to go to the UN in New York, then to NATO then back to the pilots and ground forces involved). As a result, the typical loadout was of air to air missiles as well as a pair of bombs and jaming pod. The closest American air base to the conflict zone was Aviano AB in Italy. Many US Fighter units forward deployed there at the beginning, including elements of the 86th Fighter Wing (512th and 526th Fighter Squadrons) which was transitioning from the F-16C Block 30 to the F-16C Block 40. This unit was in the middle of that transition on 28 Feb 1994 when elements of the 526th FS engaged 6 Serbian J-21 jets with the USAF claiming 4 downed (the Serbs claim 5 were lost). Later in 1994, the 86th Wing ceased fighter operations and the two squadrons were moved to Aviano to become part of the 31st Fighter Wing (510th FS and 555th FS). These squadrons continued operations over Bosnia through the shoot down incident on 2 Jun 1995 and the air strikes conducted as part of Operation Deliberate Force. With the adopting of the Dayton Peace Accords, Deny Flight was determined to no longer be necessary and terminated on 15 December 1995. This mod represents the four USAFE main F-16 squadrons that took part, the 512th FS Dragons, 526th FS Knights, 510th FS Buzzards, and 555th FS Triple Nickel. It also covers the two different blocks of F-16 flown at the time (30 and 40) Included F-16C Block 30 and 40, F-16D Block 40 new F-16D Block 40 various period specific weapons and pilots various ini edits to match the era new hangar and loading screens NOTE: The D models have very few serial numbers to each unit. most units only had one or two family models. Speaking to Breaking Defense, Ali Al Hashim, a Kuwait-based defense analyst has said that the US Marine Corps (USMC) is interested in taking over kuwaiti F/A-18s when they are retired from service (the country is currently fielding 27 legacy F-18 Hornets, plus six F-18D trainers). Malaysia and Tunisia are said to be interested in acquiring those legacy Hornets, however, the USMC will have priority as approval is required from the US government before Kuwait can sell the jets to other nations. “Kuwait cannot sell the legacy Hornets to another country without the prior approval of the US Navy,” said Hashim. “There are reports that the US Marines command appears to be interested in acquiring the Kuwait fleet of Hornets, and negotiations were underway between the two sides.” According to Alert5, the USMC is planning to retire its F/A-18s in 2030 and has given its existing F/A-18 fleet some upgrades such as a new AN/APG-79(v)4 radar and ejection seats. The Kuwait Air Force received the first two of 28 Typhoon jet fighters being built by Leonardo were last December, while the 28 F/A-18E/F Super Hornet block 3 were reportedly delivered last September by Boeing to the US Navy. Kuwaiti pilots training on the Typhoons will start flying the fighters to Kuwait during this year and well into the next one. Hashim explained that transferring the Super Hornets to Kuwait will take longer than planned due to the delayed infrastructure work at Ahmed Al Jaber Air Base because of the pandemic. According to Abdullah Al Foudary, the former Kuwait Air Force commander, selecting the Super Hornet to replace the Hornets was a “natural and logical move.” Instead he said that the additional selection of the Typhoon came in line with a policy to “unify the platforms with other members of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC),” an alliance of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman. "Saudi Arabia and Oman had procured the Eurofighter Typhoon and Qatar was considering it and recently proceeded with the purchase,” Al Foudary pointed out. “The idea here is that GCC air forces would be easily interoperable and will also be able to support one another with spare parts if they all purchased the same platforms.”

Your remod is for the old version of Julhelm's 3d model (from 2006 I think), which is pretty different and low-poly. As I stated, this one I'm reworking is an HD model that was only released as part of the RSR mod. It never got remodded nor re-released so far.

OFFICIAL USAF DOCUMENT CLASSIFIED: TOP SECRET Ground Strike Mission Orders Ha'il - Jan 17, 1991 PRIMARY TARGET INTELLIGENCE SUMMARY: Saddam's Elite Republican Guards are known to be the primary threat to our ground forces when the ground war begins. Accordingly, CENTCOM has ordered the destruction of these units by our air forces to commence immediately. OBJECTIVE: Photograph the Rep. Guards at Baiji SECONDARY TARGET INTELLIGENCE SUMMARY: An experimental search and tracking radar system is being installed at an enemy SAM site. Sources indicate it may already be operational. Detailed, low-altitude photos are required as soon as possible. OBJECTIVE: Photograph the SAM radar at Al Kumayt I usually don't like what ifs, but a funny take on the ODS 30AE mod brought me to rediscover @Julhelm's fantastic F-19, which was released as part of the RSR mod by eburger68. I've been making lots of changes to it, including adding proper hit boxes and collision points, reworked skins and aircraft characteristics and loadouts meant to resemble the ones of Microprose's F-19 Stealth Fighter game. Julhelm's original F-19; missing hit boxes and featuring a bubble canopy Reworked F-19 featuring a caged canopy ala F-106 (by repainting the canopy glass), proper hit boxes, more collision points and reworked skins (euro camo skin by kblomkvist, no markings skin by yours truly) It still features two weapon bays (unlike Microprose's exaggerated four bays), but with properly reworked limits; you can have 4x Sidewinders or 3x AMRAAMs in one of the bays, 2x bombs and AGMs (sometimes just 1x), depending on overall weight and size. A 20mm cannon is on the nose with 680 rounds, and an extra 1,900 lbs fuel cell has been added for a total of 11,800 lbs of fuel; non-afterburning engines. An (invisible) arrester hook has been added since Microprose's version could also operate from aircraft carriers. I'll be asking Julhelm for his permission to eventually re-release it, with due credits to him of course. I wish the 3d model could be edited, so we could have a proper caged canopy instead of a painted bubble canopy, as well as a visible arrester hook. We have no proper fictive cockpit for it, ideally I'd like to have the canopy frame of an F-106 and MFDs of an Hornet.

Hello WOFF Pilots, A new exciting FREE update to V1.33, is out now for Wings Over Flanders Fields Between Heaven and Hell II with new features! Changes; Version 1.33 2 August 2022 1) Implemented graded maneuver ratings for all WW1 Aircraft as they improved over time. Lower Maneuver ratings means the A.I. carry out less complex maneuvers. 2) 2 Seaters that were used as 'fighters' will now behave more historically correct. 3) Pilot Skill Morale and Health now directly affects the A.I. aircraft maneuver capabilities dynamically in runtime- a wounded/injured pilot will start to carry out less complex maneuvers. 4) Fixed an issue that prevented the Sopwith Pup skins from changing correctly. 5) Aircraft model fix for the DH5 - converted it from pedal power (feet sticking through the floor), into a full adult version using an engine instead, and some other very minor tweaks to blurred engine, and wing tips. Some other misc fixes for other aircraft models.

If you want to save your nervous system healthy, just forget about this site. You just waste time for nothing and you don't even get access. Kapun once didn't like my email address. I didn't write anything on the forums, I just downloaded some files. Kapun wrote to me and said that my address is not good for. I asked why? He replied that he simply did not like it and I had to re-register from another. I realized that we we are not right for each other , me and that site. There are things in the world that cannot be changed. It's hurricanes, rain, moon phases, and the A Team Skunkworks site.

This is the latest (and my final) version of the Desert terrain. After months of tweaking and testing I've come to realise that this is as good as I'm going to get it. So thus I've decided to just release it to the masses and see how it goes.... Desert 4 is similar to Desert V.3 albeit with a few important differences: 1. MOST IMPORTANTLY!!! - This terrain has been navalised, so you'll need to have SF2:NA in order to have missions work the way they should. As to whether this terrain will work without SF2:NA , I'm not sure and I can't guarantee it; but you're free to give it a try. 2. This terrain is based on the STOCK DESERT TERRAIN, so DON'T use the tiles from V3 as that mod is based on Polak's desert terrain. The tiles along the coast will be totally messed up. 3. D9 and D10 Airbases are still based in the mountainous north-western region of the map. However, the problem of having AI flights crashing into a nearby mountain soon after take-off from D10 has been solved by removing the hill in question. Huge thanks has to go to to Baffmeister for his work with that! Credit also has to go to Baffmeister for the surface levelling and re-tiling work around those and other airbases, as well as his work on the islands. 4. The tiles are the work of JSF_Aggie, which are a huge improvement from the stock ones. Note: the tiles within the terrain folder have been resized to 512 X 512 pixels for better framerate performance. But for those with higher spec PCs, you can get the full size tiles in the download section here: http://combatace.com/files/file/12368-hi-res-desert-tiles/ 5. I've used Stary's excellent Desert Ground Environment mod, which for that region of the world, brings 110% more realism to town and city regions, with more realistic buildings and trees. 6. More target areas have been added, as well as a few more "Easter Eggs". So get flyin' and start lookin'!
