So, tried my hand at a F1 EQ-6 skin in fictional french colours (defending the Falklands in an alternate history scenario) , with help provided by Ludo.54. Not entirely satisfied with the drop tanks and the decals, but i guess it already works well enough.

Came across some EA-18G decals, and the resolution is good enough to work with. First is the replacement of the old VAQ-130 skin that was "default" for the download:

In 1987, India sold some of its F-4E's to Argentina. These F-4's were also upgraded to the E2 standard by Israel in the year 1997, giving them the same air superiority grey paint-scheme and AIM-120 capability. The difference between Argentinian and Indian E2's was that the Indian Phantoms could carry some russian missiles and precise guided weapons. The planes flew together over Israel in 1997, when the last E2 was delivered to India.

SF2 TMF Boeing 707 300 Series Update Pack 5/14/2023 -For SF2, Any and All (Full 4/5 Merged Recommended) This is the complete aircraft, set up as to NOT conflict with the mods of the 707 produced by DaddyAirplanes. Some renanming has been done to make sure of the lack of conflicts. This is a fairly small modification of the Boeing 707 jetliner released many years ago by The Mirage Factory. What this mod does, is using ONLY the 4 original skins, adds 100% historically correct registration numbers, and in the case of PanAm, the "Clipper" name of the aircraft. Just in case you've forgotten what skins there are ... BOAC - 14 aircraft 1960-86 El Al - 12 aircraft 1961-2018 Pan American - 18 aircraft 1958-99 TMA Air Cargo - 6 aircraft 1965-2004 All these markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. The Data ini has some edits, adding the "Exported to Enemy = TRUE" line. The nations used for these 4 are STOCK in game ones. (RAF=BOAC, USAF=PanAm, Lebannon=TMA). A userlist in included, that is by NO MEANS complete. End users are encouraged to add skins, "air forces" and whatever is required to expand the line. A cockpit is included, but as this bird is mostly for eye candy, player flight is not reccomended (no defenses of any kind!!). As such, there are NO hangar or loading screens. When in game, you'll see Boeing 707-300 Series (TMF) on the aircraft selection drop down menu. This should (and will) deferentiate it from DA's mods. This aircraft DOES represent many different versions of the 300 series, so the name is fairly accurate. As is always recommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein

Yeah, and I just met with one of them. I gave Stratos a heads-up because the guy was looking for a moderator to unban him, but after this, I doubt it'll happen, of which I don't care about.

Just a heads up from the Thirdwire Discord. There's a dude named Gryphus who friended me and wanted to be unsuspended from here because he fucked up and probably used multiple accounts and banned from here. He may approach you if you're on there to download files from here to him and homie don't play that as I don''t want my account banned because he can't get unsuspended.

And the drop tank texture. It'll be in the next update. With FastCargo working on the 3D model stuff (I don't know how long it will take) I'm going to upload the mod with those updates so it's a more refined package and so on.

How true!!! When I was looking up the PanAM and BOAC birds, a LOT werent' -300s!!! That's a great suggestion; all I have to do now is write the readme, and take some screenies! Thanks DA!! You know how I HATE wasting work!!

or release it as a 707-310 or -321 or such. the -3xx number was different for alot of airframes with Boeings customer codes for the original airframes

oooooorrrr (and im just spitballin here) use this for real aircraft tga base liveries, El Al is on there for all eras that they flew big Boeings. if you want to use as a static, take the tga from the above, and adjust it onto the skin itself

That's exactly what I've done with a lot of my objects, its not too difficult really.

one wonders, that for parked vehicles in a parking lot, if a single lod could be made for that. having various sizes and shapes from vans, light trucks, 2 door and 4 door vehicles. the mapping would be a nightmare, having to have all kinds of different colors for the various meshes. (like the piles/stack of containers we have already) just tossing that out

For global 360 head movement Extract Viewlist.ini, stick in the "flight" mod folder, and change these to FALSE in each relevant section: LimitPitch=FALSE LimitYaw=FALSE For side to side head movement that needs individual changes for each aircraft (needed for some ) #35 on here: You can limit yaw movement for each aircraft also to some extent IIRC individually.

So far I've got nearly 28000 objects placed on my Vietnam map. Da Nang airbase has 500 on the right side alone as I've split the base into 4 separate target areas and everything appears to be showing as it should. There's still a lot more to add so I dont think I've hit the limit yet. I must admit that I've limited my TOD's to about 1400 trees per tile maximum.

Sorry it took so long to answer, I've had health issues - in and out of the hospital, etc. If you want the Ford FT-B to operate as a tank, showing up in ground attack missions, simply drop the folder into your GroundObject folder. If you want to place static vehicles around the terrain, you need to have in your GroundObject folder, then add some lines to the Types.ini in your Terrain folder. I used the data for trucks in the stock game and modified the code. Add this to the end of your Types.ini - [TargetTypeXXX] Name=FordFTB DetailLevel=1 FullName=Ford FT-B TargetType=TANK ActiveYear=0 TargetValue=0 UseGroundObject=TRUE GroundObjectType=FordFTB RepairRate=0.555 StartDetectChance=0 StartIdentifiedChance=0 IncreaseDetectChanceKey=0 MaxVisibleDist=8000.0 DestroyedEffect=MediumFire SecondaryEffect=SmallRocketGroundExplosion SecondaryChance=100 Change the "XXX" to the next consecutive number in the Types.Ini. list Then you have to add the vehicle to the Targets.ini in the places you want it to appear, like any other target. I hope this isn't too late to be helpful.

I'm working on a 1983 version of the F-15A, which has TWS ( there was a TWS mode pre-MSIP, I re-checked my sources, dont know the exact time when it was available but 83/84 is a good estimate ) I've also added IFF function to normal search mode, IFF isnt limited to TWS on the real thing. My F-15A avionics enhancement will be updated too. The IFF function in the game is a 100% method, it sorts contacts into friendly and enemy symbols. From my F-15A (83) mod escort mission, the circle left low on the screen is a friendly F-4 bomber flight.. the diamonds near the top are mig-23 and 17 flights .. enemy same scenario in TWS, the F-4 bomber flight is outside the TWS scan volume (60° scan), not visible anymore, I have selected the mig-23 flight - center up - and right low corner are my #3 and 4 heading for the mig 17's ... migs are rectangles and friendlies are dots the exact type of the enemy aircraft was found out by locking them and using the radar target keyboard command , kinda a "lite" enemy IFF interrogator ~
