4 points@Viggen Check the AI performance figures in the data.ini and make sure they are the same as the stock TW lighting F1. I remember reading long ago that the AI uses the [StrafeAI] figures for air-to-air rockets so you want that to be the same as the Lightning. Pay attention to rocket/ gun boresight angles, aim pitch offset, the actual rocket attachment angles, and angles in the rocket pod if its a separate pod. Mimic what the lightning has and then see how the AI goes against bomber formations. I have done this with the Sabre dog and it does get kills. Check all the cockpit view/ aiming/ offset angles match the Lightning as well for when you are having a go yourself as a player controlled aircraft. Alot of the AI performance figures for these 3rd party rocket interceptors in SF2 were set up for when guns that had rocket effets were used to mimic air to air rockets, because TW hadn't implemented the Lightning and the air to air rocket feature yet.

3 pointslast batch for the Vietnam air war. for now, I am missing A-6C and KA-6D. Some squadrons did not go color frenzy, so not much extravaganza here... --------1969 A-6A VA-145, CVW-9 USS Enterprise 1.6.1969 - 7.2.1969 A-6A, A-6B PAT/ARM VA-85, CVW-14 USS Constellation 8.11.1969 - 5.9.1970 A-6A VA-35, CVW-15 USS Coral Sea 9.23.1969 - 7.1.1970 A-6A, A-6B mod0 VA-196, CVW-2 USS Ranger 10.16.1969 - 6.1.1970 -------1970 A-6A, A-6C, A-6B PAT/ARM VA-165, CVW-9USS America 4.10.1970 - 12.21.1970 A-6A, A-6C VA-145, CVW-2 USS Ranger 10.27.1970 - 6.17.1971 A-6A, A-6B PAT/ARM VA-52, CVW-11 USS Kitty Hawk 11.6.1970-7.17.1971 ----------------1971 A-6A VA-115, CVW-5 USS Midway 4.16.1971 - 11.6.1971 A-6A,A-6B mod0/1 VA-196, CVW-14 USS Enterprise 7.11.1971 - 2.12.1972 A-6A, KA-6D VA-165, CVW-9 USS Constellation 10.1.1971 - 7.1.1972

2 pointsLower your settings to the lowest setting possible, even if your machine should be able to handle it. Play the mod at the lowest settings and see if it CTD. If it does not, then the engine is overloaded at the higher settings. This can be from things like selecting the wrong video card in the settings or selecting auto for some of the settings. There are very few issues with the mod, 95% end up being user error. Since this is an ISO file I don't know if there's a readme in the folder, I haven't looked, knowing @Menrva it's there. All the things that would be in the readme are in the mod description including the potential fixes for some issues. I suggest you start there and read it thoroughly, this is just a snippet of the text. After all these years I still have no idea why these support topics are posted in the file announcement or in the comment section of the file. We have a perfectly good place to keep all the support tickets if we could get everyone to use it. Go to the file on the right big green button it says, "Get Support" which is a slight bit under the "Download File" button. E

1 pointIron Tadpoles. Intruders of the Vietnam War. 1 pointI'm still on placing the TOD objects on the map. It's a boring job, progress is slow. Unexpected and very rare thing happend during a testflight. 40 mm Bofors Flak really hit a plane.

1 pointIt looks amazing! Only thing they should add in the instructions is if you are having the 80% CTD check your C:\Users\"your computer name" \Saved Games\ThirdWire\OperationDesertStorm\ version for missing strikefighters2=TRUE as well as Israel and North Atlantic It's like a new game, fantastic! Thank you for the development.

1 pointI'll try to walk you through this. 1. Download all four parts of the file. I put them on my desktop so it's easy for you to see, but you could put these files anywhere you want as long as they are in the same folder (directory) on a drive. 2. Make sure you have the latest version of 7zip installed. Go to https://www.7zip.com/ and download what you need. Install or update as necessary. 3. Make sure you have all the required Thirdwire Strikefighters 2 games installed and patched correctly. 4. Go to the directory where you put the downloads. For this instruction set they are on my desktop, I can move the install files after I've installed the mod. Right click the main file ODS_30AE.zip and choose to Extract to "ODS_30AE\" ** NOTE ** My right click menus look like Win7 on a Win11 machine because I hated the new right click menus in Win11. Your Windows will not look the same as mine but should function the same. 5. You should now get a new folder called "ODS_30AE" in your directory or desktop like my example. 6. Double left click that folder to open it. You will get a view of the contents in the file explorer window. 7. Right click the ODS_30AE.ISO file. From the menu that appears you can you do two things. Mount the ISO which we will do in this example or Burn the ISO to a CD like we used to do in the old days. 8. Select "Mount" and you will see that your computer mounts the ISO just like it's a new drive on your computer. For me it appears as new DVD Drive (F:) Operation Desert Storm 9. Double left click the "installer.exe" and follow the onscreen instructions. 10. When you're done installing you will need to unmount the file. Open the file explorer window where you double clicked the installer.exe file. On the left right click "DVD Drive (F): Operation Desert Storm" and chose "Eject" 11. Now you can move the files anywhere you want for safekeeping. **Note we did nothing with the files ODS_30AE.z01, ODS_30AE.z02, ODS_30AE.z03. The installer needs those files but you don't need to do anything with them other than have them in the directory where the main download file is. I'm sure someone will do this differently than I do and if I need to update my instructions I can, just let me know. Be nice I'm not much of a computer guy. And just as I finish this tutorial you got it to work. Glad you were part of the 95% and the installer is fine, which I suspected. E

1 pointwell, it all started as skin pack for thirdwire Intruders. And It was nearly done, but then GKABS released his model. So soon after I started to import my work onto new skins for his model. We made some changes, lot of changes to data and now I have bunch of skins for all A-6 deployments during Vietnam War - compatible with my previous work on A-7 and some other ongoing WIPs (full CVW set for specific cruise). It will be available soon, or little more than two weeks. Still researching some serial numbers. Noteworthy is that those camouflaged birds are made via decals, so we have only few birds with famous experimental camouflages within squadron. It is not perfect, but it is good enough in my opinion. You will see. I think I still have some data work to do, just to add more compatibility to A-7, A-4 in matter of MER and TER racks.

1 pointMy thanks to you for this post! Our intention has always been to provide as much accuracy as possible into the order of battle of both Coalition and Iraqi forces. In my view it would have been disrespectful to represent only one side of the conflict; I like to think that also the Iraqi people can remember the history of their pilots and soldiers with this mod. The Arabic speech pack is the work of fellow @GKABS; some voice files are still missing for airports and ground units. I hope we can get some recordings in the future in order to complete it fully. Cheers!
