10 pointsok i think i com in to this conversation i have the 3ds max file for the RNoAF_68_F-5A made by Sophocles and i do have the cockpit for it ( but not the max file for the cockpit ) , i dont know if i´m allowed to release it as it is , i dont have any contact to Sophocles the cockpit is not yet finish as you can see in the picture the caution and status lights are all on , to solve this i would need the mesh name / node name of the parts to add them in to the Cockpit.ini stick and throttle are working , but some gauges need to be activated

If there's been no contact with Sophocles for a "great deal of time" -- for argument's sake, lets say 12 months, given the age of this thread, I would say it's up to the modder with the parts to make the decision on weither to release "as is" or not. Let's give Sophocles some time to respond to Ravenclaw's message, say 7 days, and then the ball is in his (RC's) court. //Admin Mode Off// I do hope we can finally get this bird!!!

1 pointIt's been a busy day. Earlier today the UPS that supplies power to all our equipment failed while in service. By failure I mean it went poof, sizzle, spark, and dark dropping all power to the machines it supports. It took a few hours to purchase a new one and have it installed in our rack. The overall downtime was approximately 3 hours 45 minutes. I apologize for the downtime. This was an unforeseen event that had no early warning signs or diagnostics. Our UPS is only designed to take over should a power outage happen at the data center and only sustain us for the thirty or so seconds it takes the data center to auto switch over to their diesel backup generators. Secondly Google Ads has made some changes that are not integrating into our site. I've been working on resolving this and all changes I make take an hour or so to take effect. This will be ongoing work until I'm able to resolve the problems.

1 pointHello everybody, After releasing 3.001 update and going wild with the celebration - having 5 work days in a week instead of 7 - we continue the further development. Thankfully, 3.001 release went ok and didn't require any urgent critical hotfixes, which is strange for such fundamental changes, to be honest. Anyway, at this moment we already have around 40 changes and enhancements we plan to release in the next 3-4 weeks. Graphics, Career, AI, multiplayer and some other stuff will be addressed. In parallel, we're developing the next big thing, Bodenplatte. The work on the map, buildings and its first planes has already started. We have a huge task in front of us, but we already got used to big plans and we know how to follow them. Soon we'll tell you about the other projects of IL-2 Great Battles series - the work is going on them as well. Meanwhile, today we can show you the first WIP screenshots of Spitfire F/LF Mk.IXe and Bf 109 G-14 fighters from Bodenplatte aircraft list - we're working on their 3D models and FMs. We plan to start the Bodenplatte Early Access program when they are ready. 1 pointIm talking about the correct ID setting in the cockpit ini Example: [Canopy] Type=EXTERNAL_ANIMATION_LINK NodeName=GlassBack MovementType=ANIMATION AnimationID=3<<----------------------------------this is the animation number/slot used in the cockpit lod ItemNumber=3<<----------------------------------this refers to the animation number/slot used in the aircraft lod and must be set to the correct ID used for the canopy animation You can check the animations from within the lodviewer tool

1 pointlol Its probably this: the entry in your cockpit ini (the animation link) refers to another animation (slats maybe) which deploy/retract in flight... and thats causing your wild canopy movement. Change the value to 7 if this is the canopy animation ID of the aircraft model Further, to prevent the canopy from opening in flight. add following to the [Canopy] section in the data ini: MaxDeploySpeed=5 This sets a limit of 5 m/s (about 10 knots / 18 km/h) and the canopy will close automatically if this speed is exceeded. You can double the value if you want to taxi faster with the canopy open. And for info, the CanopyNodeName=Canopy entry in the [Pilot] section tells the game which part of the aircraft is jettisoned when the crew ejects. For some aircraft (eg the Mirage F1) the canopy glass node is used there, if ejection (on the real thing) is through the canopy without jettison it first.

1 pointUpdated Tempest FM attached. This new FM includes the work around to eliminate the asymmetric bomb weight issue. Some adjustments to the AI as well as a revised engine table similar to the Typhoon. A new loadout ini is also included but you will need the Typhoon upload to get the bombs and rack. Engine exhaust smoke and prop inertia effects are turned off but can be activated in the engine section of the Tempest data ini. Here it is: TempestUpdate0.96.zip

Hello to all and here is my Euro/Med buildings mod V3 this updates the buildings in WOE and others .The updated buildings are based on real buildings in Germany and adds a more modern feel . I have also add Mediterranean buildings too . Just unzip and drop them in the CEGermany/Anatolia terrain folders and go fly.. Buildings V3.zip
