3 pointsIn summer 1940 the Battle of France was fought. British, belgian, dutch and french troops were defeated by the "Sichelschnitt", a surprising move invented by General von Manstein. In his book "Verlorene Siege" wrote v.Manstein, that his Divison got the order as part of the 9th Armee to take part in the invasion of England in an area between Bexhill and Eastbourn, Beachy Head. Close to Hastings, the last battlefield where a invasion of the islands was succesfully. Manstein wrote, that the german leadership had, after the surprisingly fast victory over France, had no plan how to continuing the war. So it came to a delay till the decision was made to try the "Operation Seelöwe" and as preludium the Air Battle of Britain. Manstein said, that if the decison to engage England would have made one or two weeks after the victory over France, german landing forces would have landed on Englands beaches around August 15th 1940. Mansteins idea to fight England was a surprise attack with no previous Air Battle. All should end in a major Battle, The Luftwaffe, Heer and Kriegsmarine should attack at the same time. For Manstein the british ground forces were the minor problem. They lost nearly all heavy weapons in Dunekirk, so that the Royal Army would have been no real danger. Dangerous could become the Air Force and the Royal Navy. But Manstein wrote, that the Royal Navy would come to late to prevent the landing of the first german wave. The Royal Navy would try to stop the second and all other landing waves. At this time it would be the job of the Luftwaffe to sink the british ships and the job of the Royal Air Force to protect the british ships. In the last weeks i have started to rework the tileset of my very old Battle of Britain terrain and soon i will start to rebuild the target areas, so that we have the chance to fight a "Operation Seelöwe" style battle in SF2. Here some screenshots while WIP. New farmtiles, but still old airfield tile. New airfield tile. A mixture between old and new coast tiles. View from high altitutes. Test of a London tile. Buckingam palace is not yet on correct place.

3 pointsBeen tinkering some more with the environsys files for FE2, also for WW2 and Cold War installs in SF2 - will eventually include this with a ver. 10.0 of the FE2 FM update pack. Have now gotten a more subtle blue color for noon and afternoon skies in FE2, and a slightly more subtle horizon color (always thought the default blue was a little too saturated). Will also tinker further with explosion effects for observation balloons soon...ideally I'd like to get an effect between the one included around ver. 9.0 of my FM pack, and the very small effect included around ver. 9.5. Notice also the nice spiral that the downed Mosca MB-bis is making in one of the pics. - that's one of the many things I love about FE2 - destroyed aircraft follow the physics of flight - no scripted crashes in FE2/SF2 that use only a limited number of patterns. There was also a Spad A.2 that went into a flat spin after being flamed but I didn't have time to take a pic. in the excitement of the battle. Happy flying, Von S P.S. 1 pointlo se Stratos , el terreno nuevo es uno doble de la Malvinas y posguerra, los probé y no son malos (siempre refiriéndome a la topografía) pero el de Kesselbrut es el mas acertado. en esos últimos terrenos se agregaron nuevas target áreas y se cambiaron varios azulejos. yo estoy creando todos los objetivos lo mas históricamente realistas pero no se crear mapas y Robermirage logro un mapa con topografia muy realista, la idea era si alguna persona aceptaba el desafió de poder crear algo así, ya que tengo todos los elementos para un nuevo mapa de esas características

Hello everyone! Here is an updated version of the Rockwell's B1-B Lancer as demanded. I want to make you who download this bird enjoy it as much as I do or even more if this is your favourite aircraft! B-1B Lancer for Wings Over Europe (Only tested there, I have no idea if it's gonna work elsewhere) I am not an author of this masterpiece. I just tried and succeeded in converting it to SF1/WOE and made it playable, not AI anymore. Very special thanks goes to Dels and the Bone Team! Without them, some (including myself) would only see this Lady on Google images. Also big thanks to the unknown author for making cockpit, and the guy who uploaded it, alvatototal! I am really sorry if I forgot to put other names to the list... So, few words about the aircraft. I have tested it as mention before in WOE only (patch October 2008). Tried it out in Normal flight mode, as I found it the best, so I have no clue and I am lazy to check out how it performs on Hard flight mode. New things: There is a RADAR added to it! Looks a little bit primitive tho, but it works, and if it's stupid and it works, it's not stupid! :D The engine power is buffed slightly, and oh boy, the maneuverability! At least it's good for my taste... Also added some magic of mine ;) I wonder if you could tell from the new screenshot I put but if you can't... Check out the afterburners :) Installation instructions: 1. put B-1B folder into your "Aircraft" folder 2. put content from the "Sounds" folder to your "Sounds" folder 3. put content from the "Effects" folder into your "Effects" folder 4. This is a modification of the F22A that I have done. It is the futurist F-22 that appears in ace combat 3 electrosphere. It is faster and it can carry more fuel and ammo. I tried to make it a cockpit like in the game but i couldn't. Enjoy it I would like to thank usafmtl to allow me to use his work in this mod.
