5 pointsAt the end of the day, there is a plague.....lets call it one as for all intents and purposes it is one, although on a much lesser scale, there is no cure for it, it is transmitted by human contact, and it kills, ok, not a biblical scope of death toll, but still, it kills, and the ONLY way of containing the damn thing, is by reducing contact and therefore risk of either exposure, or, if you are a carrier, of passing it on. Therefore If by ignorance, stupidity, or just not giving a flying fuck, or because you believe its a huge conspiracy, and the evil empire is out to fuck you over, cause finacial problems for the medical services, and for businesses as a whole, maybe if it goes on for any protracted time, then you are first delusional, secondly selfish , thirdly a potential murderer , as if you ARE a carrier, and you pass it across to your elderly or infirm relative, they stand a good chance of contracting the thing and also of dying from it. So instead of moaning whining, and complaining, all actions which will have zero effect anyhow, just fuckin' deal with it, and fuck off with any conspiracy theory bollocks , deal with it ffs it aint fuckin' hard !!

4 pointsyour post wasn't deleted, just hidden ======= we've had the same fuck wits here in Los Angeles. Approx 10 days ago, even under the "stay home stay safe' order, thousands of morons were out wandering around on the local beaches and parks and hiking trails. The Mayor order them shut down. If one wants to commit suicide, please do it in the privacy of your own home, ok. As to conspiracy theories, well, I've never seen a "theory" kiil before. I guess there's always a first time.

3 pointsView File DHC-1 Chipmunk T.10 - Repacked The de Havilland Canada DHC-1 Chipmunk is a tandem, two-seat, single-engined primary trainer aircraft developed and manufactured by Canadian aircraft manufacturer de Havilland Canada. It was developed shortly after the Second World War and sold heavily throughout the immediate post-war years, being typically employed as a replacement for the de Havilland Tiger Moth biplane. The Chipmunk was the first postwar aviation project conducted by de Havilland Canada. It performed its maiden flight on 22 May 1946 and was introduced to operational service that same year. During the late 1940s and 1950s, the Chipmunk was procured in large numbers by military air services such as the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF), Royal Air Force (RAF), and several other nations' air forces, where it was often utilised as their standard primary trainer aircraft. The type was also produced under licence by de Havilland in the United Kingdom, who would produce the vast majority of Chipmunks, as well as by OGMA (Oficinas Gerais de Material Aeronáutico) in Portugal. NOTE: This mod was done during COVID-19 lock down. It helped me to spend my time with out thinking all day long about it. I never planned to skin this plane, but Kevin and mostly Daddyairplanes upgraded and put it on my desktop, so I made a pair of skins using Daddy great one and day by day the skins went 28 (!). So the skinpack became a whole repack ... All serial numbers are historical ones, but not all the skins, as I can't find Jordan and Syrian pics. I made them looking at similiar planes dressing, but If someone has some references or books (like Warpaint n. 123 !) the pack will be very soon upgraded. This is a very nice model, mapped like a dog .... so skinnig sometimes it was like a puzzle, so I thik that whitout COVID-19 home rest this job'ld never be done. WHAT'S IN: - a flyable plane - 30 skins all around the world (see pictures ...) Early Irish and Saudi added in V. 1.1 thaks to Menvra! - hangars - historical decals - lights tweaked - autoclosing canopy CREDITS: - bigal 1 and team (see original readme included) for SF1 realise; - Wrench for SF2 porting; - DaddyAirplanes for great Brixmis skin (not included) I used as a base for mine; - paulopanz for skins, decals, hangars, tweakings etc. INSTALL: - delete any previous chipmunk folder from your aircraft folder, all you need (except Daddy skin) is here. - enable, if you haven't done before, Irish Air Corps Add this to yours NATIONS.INI in FLIGHT FOLDER to the list bottom XXX = the last entry +1 [NationXXX] Name=EIRE DisplayName=Irish Air Corps Alignment=FRIENDLY PilotNameList=NamesBritish.lst RankList=RanksRAF.lst CallsignList=CALLSIGNSRAF.LST Formation.Fighter=USFighter Formation.Attack=USFighter Formation.Bomber=USBomber Formation.Transport=USBomber Formation.Tank=USTank Formation.MobileAD=USAD PilotTrainingStandard=EXCELLENT GenderRatio=0 DebriefSuccessMusic=DebriefSuccess.wav DebriefFailMusic=DebriefFail.wav DebriefKilledMusic=DebriefKilled.wav SpeechFile=USAFSpeech.cat SpeechTextFile=USAFSpeechText.str Medals=MedalsRAF.ini MedalTextFile=MedalsRAF.str - put all in your mod folder and overwrite OPERATIONS: Open canopy = 10 key God speed. @paulopanz Submitter paulopanz Submitted 04/02/2020 Category Other

2 pointsI remember as a kid in 60, I had a toy of the Mojave. The "mouth" opened up and I could stuff my Plastic Army Men (tm) inside!!!. Also had the Remco H-21, with working winch, and was motorized to run around on the floor, with the rotors spinning. Good times!! :)

1 pointalways loved this one. this is the helicopter my uncle was injured on. not clear on the details since i was pretty young when he told the story but he was injured in a loading accident. He said that because of that injury he was in an even worse motorcycle accident a week or so latter accident that ended his military career. the reason I know the chopper is that he scratch built a wooden model of the helicopter while he was rehabbing from his broken back.

1 point21 years ago on March 27, 1999 A formation of 4 F-117As is about to take off for another strike mission near Belgrade... That night escort jammers EA-6B were grounded due to bad weather... So the Nighthawks had to rely exclusively on their stealth characteristics... F-117As were basically following the very same routes... The 3rd Battalion of the 250th Air Defense Missile Brigade managed to acquire and track the "Vega-31"... At about 8:15 pm local time, with a range of about 8 miles 2 V-601P missiles were launched... The first one passed very close but didn't detonate... and the second gets very close... The second missile detonates causing significant damage to the aircraft and causing it to tumble out of control... The aircraft crushed near the village of Budanovci... The shotdown of "Vega-31" was the first and only verified combat kill of a stelath aircraft and interestingly that kill was achieved with outdated 60s era surface to air missiles.
