6 pointsGreat screenies all ... here are a few of mine too - had a bit of free time recently for some quick missions in the Italian theater. Great AI and immersion in FE2 - tweaks in the pics. are as per the latest mods. in my ver. 9.9 FM pack - LOD Bias is set to "-1" on my ATI graphics cards, by the way - for crisper graphics at distances. The other great thing about FE2 is that it's not taxing on GPUs or other computer hardware - reasonable core temps. maintained and only about 50% of CPU and GPU usage, even at max. settings in the FE2 menu. 4 pointsHi everyone, I have been working on a few (yes... only a few ) models for my failed attempt to make a map, To make the story short no map for the Caribbean and northern South America is available in the site, so I decided to make one... but being a terraformer is only for a few .. , later I decided to start with something easier and mod a campaign, so I came up with and idea to make a regional conflict in central America between a China and Russian backed NIcaraguan and US allies in the region for the control of the zne where the new canal was planned to be build. But there is one little problem with this idea.... We have very few PLAN and PLAAF units, and even fewer modern ones, so I returned to my roots and started to build some ships... But wait... what about Russia, Will the russians allowed the Chinese to start something this big just in uncle Sam's backyard? Of course not, so they need a couple f ship as well, OK, everything is well now... the task force is on its way to the Caribbean and the eastern pacific shore of Nicaragua... But they will need a strong AA umbrella to protect their assets in the region, but again the same old problem..... don't worry with this lock down we have plenty on time.. ok.. now we are taking.... but what about the weapons? Do we have the newest Chinese and Russian weapons?... we only a few so... What about PLAAF attack helicopters and UAV? nothing ... But I had a couple of free models from 3dCadBrowser modded to make them work with the sim, so lets make them usable here 9 and filled the hole of a cheap LIFT for China allies in the region Nicaragua and Venezuela) so here is the work so far, Right now I am working on a little issue with the Panama map, when you are flying near the loks the FPS drops a lot, I presume this is a object lod with a lot of polys, I suspect of the dam object but right now I am not able to work on that since I dont have a game PC, only a laptop and the integrated video cards can't handle the game I also have sme other models, so if anyone think this models could help in any install or if someone wants to help in paint or teach em how to do it , feel free to write me

3 pointsI am thinking of making the M163 VADS and I would like some help if anyone can find a good blueprint as I have searched the net but didn't find any good ones. I also have a question regarding the radar dish does it moves with the Gatling gun or is it is stable.

I does NOT replace any of the previously released work, it is an entirely separate aircraft. Most parts reworked, remapped, bump & spec maps, new pit. 2 pointsHi, I am not an expert, but just checked a couple of Youtube videos, showing the system in action, and the radar dish moved both horizontally and vertically together with the gun and they always pointed in the same direction.

2 pointsThe cityblocks are so bright only in sun. When in shadow they looks so: The roofs match more or less with the color of the tiles. Maybe i should make the cityblocks all of brickstone color.

2 pointsCorrecting the Radar screen indicator lights/ lamps. TW has them set up as green range indicators on the left with a yellow radar lock and shoot que light on the right. Each light is actually a lamp with a symbol on it. Unfortunately there are no working lights in the F-8D cockpit so I have just put the un-lit symbols in the correct place. However for the F-8E/J/H the lights are functional so I have corrected them as follows: On the left from top to bottom is: - "Extended Range lamp" (as in real life) lights up when the radar is in the 40 mile range on the F-8E/H and the 30 mile range on the F-8J. - "T (Lock-on) lamp " (as in real life) lights up when the radar is locked on to a target. - "In-Envelope lamp" functions as a shoot que in the game, in real life it would light up when the radar was locked on and a missile (IR or SAHM) was within range and its launching parameters. On the right from top to bottom is: - "J (Home-on-jamming) lamp" this is not functional in the game but in real life would light up when the radar was locked onto a jamming source. - "IR (Lock-on)" or IRST (Lock-on) this is not functional in the game but in real life would light up when the aircrafts IRST was locked on to a heat source. However on the F-8J/H_69 It functioned as a SEAM lock on light when a AIM-9G had locked on to a target (with or without a radar lock). As such on the F-8J/H_69 it functions in the game a second shoot que. P.S. all lights/ lamps are now green (no yellow).

1 pointI was flying a recon mission in a Rumpler C.I. We had just reached our target when we were jumped by four Nieuports. One got on my wing man's tail but I was able to drive him off. I chased the Nieuport around for a while; I fired at him several times, but never came close to hitting him. Another Nieuport got on my tail; I broke off the chase and started dodging and weaving. My gunner got several shots off and finally brought him down. The Nieuports broke off and we returned to base. I guess I'm better at dodging and weaving than I am at chasing.
