Northrop/IAI F-23I Black Widow II, 101st Squadron "The First Fighter Squadron", Heyl Ha'Avir, 2004 I know Spinners had released his version time ago... but it itched me to start my own approach to it. Hope you don't mind, Spinners.

Hello ! A fast attempt in order to have a new high altitude pilot for the P-51D Mustang. You need the oooold WW2pilot.LOD file created in 2004... In my opinion we need a cute new WW2 USAAF (high altitude/G force suite, mask, visor, etc...) pilot for our beautiful P-51D mustangs (TW and FastCargo ones). I have not the "green light" to upload the LOD file. ww2Pilot.bmp

Finally we now have a modern train model. Thanks to my friends Angela and Gkabs, for the help. I hope you'll like it. If anyone wants to make a better skin, I thank you in advance.

Having some fun in an SE5a campaign. Lots of power and great field of view. Just need to Boom & Zoom rather than turn fight usually. At least until I have them nicely damaged.

Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IA - No.87 Squadron, RAF Fighter Command, 1940 When No.87 Squadron returned from France in May 1940 they were seriously depleted and after a brief period at Debden they were sent north to Church Fenton to recuperate and re-equip before moving south to No.10 Group on the South West coast. In early August 1940 the squadron began to receive new black-painted Spitfire Mk.IA's and immediately started day and night patrols before commencing night intruder operations over enemy airfields in northern France in October 1940. More then the current 1024 you mean? I suppose one could try. When you download the TFDtool again, it includes a special version where I set texture limit to 1600 instead. I have not stress-tested this new amount though, you will have to test it yourself.

Trying to create a somewhat reasonable stand-in cockpit here...we'll see, if it works.

Even before the chinese civil war ended, the americans knew they will need to fly over mainland China in order to gather as many intel as possible. Daylight flights would be too much a provocation, so the USAF was tasked with finding a plane that could fly at night, fast and capable of being updated with several intel gathering equipment. USAF took its job seriously, but the existing bombers altough providing enough room for new equipment are too slow for chinese defenses, then a WW2 veteran came with an idea, why not to upgrade the existing P-61 airframes existing in USCON storage sites? The crews must be all american, but the planes will fly with Republic of China markings, soon the new EP-61W as the "new" version is to be known was flying tests over Taiwan getting ready for its incoming task. Apart from the new antennas that tell everyone the new plane main task, the EP-61W were updated with new external fixed wingtip tanks, and several wet hardpoints to carry external tanks. Want to say thanks to AngelP for work on the existing SF2 mod, new antennas, wingtip tanks, drop tanks... Soon, more pics of operational history to come!

BTW. I was going through the process of changing things up to fly out of Da Nang but figured let me not screw things up. Anyway, who would expect a Navy squadron to be based in the Central Highlands?
