Italy, Southern Europe (1963-1991) Terrain September 13th, 2022 (1st Release) by Menrva and tiopilotos >For Strike Fighters 2, Recommended Full-5 Merged I am very proud to release a long awaited, brand new terrain made from scratch! The result of many years of dedication and sweat starting in 2017, it features thousands of manually placed tiles reproducing Real World river courses and lakes, not to mention tons of cities all accurately placed in their correct locations. This terrain portrays a pretty complex area, no wonder it never got made properly in two decades of Strike Fighters modding. It is my hope you realize the amount of time and hard effort that I have put to reproduce it with much care and detail. The terrain completely covers Italy (with the exception of Sicily, which is included in my Libya terrain), Yugoslavia, Albania, Corsica (France), Liechtenstein and nice portions of Austria, Hungary, Switzerland, Greece and even a bit of Romania. The tileset, based on one of Stary's GermanyCE tilesets, has been recoloured and expanded with needed transition tiles and features beautiful, unique tiles by tiopilotos which reproduce real islands. Expect long and very accurate river courses, all major and some minor lakes, and tons of islands in the Adriatic Sea. Numerous target areas have been added in order to expand playability, targets of opportunity and year range; those include more than 140 airports, more than 100 SAM sites and more than 70 EW-GCI sites, all placed accurately in their correct locations as shown by well-made SAM site datasets for Google Earth. This terrain features a fresh new 250m resolution heightmap (instead of the stock 500m resolution), allowing for greater details and precision in elevation changes; overall it provides the whole terrain with a better look. The terrain spans from April 7, 1963 (the day the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia was introduced) to June 24, 1991 (the day before Slovenia and Croatia declared independence). This terrain is adapt for Cold War scenarios pitting NATO forces against the combined Red Side forces of Yugoslavia, Albania, Hungary and Romania. Airfields in Austria and Switzerland have been set to Neutral, so the AI and the player will never spawn on those by default. Targets reflect Real World events as accurately as possible. Having SF2NA is a must, as I have enabled naval ops; if your mod folder contains American, French and Italian aircraft carriers, sometimes you'll see fleets being generated in single missions. NOTE: The terrain is not fully finished. It currently misses targets for cities, such as bridges, warehouses, factories etc. If time will allow, maybe someday it will be completed properly. >Credits (in no particular order): -tiopilotos, for working on very well done island tiles which offer more unique sights in the Adriatic Sea. -swambast, who provided me with invaluable help in tracking and fixing common and uncommon bugs. -gerwin, whose TFDtool has proved to be essential in today's terrain making. If the terrain is pretty accurate to RL it's also because of him. I included his very nice Airfield 7+8 Addon Pack, too. -mue, for the improved shaders he made, which I have included and reworked for the terrain, and for the tools he made for SF2 modding. -JSF_Aggie, for his Hi-Res Runway Textures package which I have included and slightly reworked. -Coupi, for his Soviet style repaint of the stock Runway3 airfield. -luk1978, for the waternormal bitmap he shared at the SF2 screenshots thread. Your mods are very interesting! -Stary, for an old version of his GermanyCE tileset included in the Anatolia v1 terrain by PureBlue. -Gepard, for his great tutorials about terrain making, in the SF1 Knowledge Base at CombatACE. It's a gold mine! -krfrge, who has produced a tutorial for recreating SF2-like planning maps, which prompted me to work on templates and my own high quality planning maps. Thank you very much! -comrpnt, for his Approach and Airfield Lighting Pack mod packages for SF1 series, which I reworked and included. >Trivia: Some statistics of the amount of work that went into it, gathered thanks to gerwin's TFDtool. I placed manually one by one: more than 8600 rivers tiles, more than 1100 road tiles, more than 2000 city related tiles! This is just the tip of the iceberg, not counting other thousands of tiles that have been placed manually on the tilemap to better reproduce coastlines, islands and lakes, and not counting the endless hours of research since 2017 into adding all possible airports with much accuracy. >Disclaimer: This is a freeware; you are NOT allowed to redistribute it without my prior explicit consent. Any changes to the terrain package's files and/or any copy-and-paste attempts of their contents are NOT authorized if you plan to release them in other mods. But permission might be granted to those who request it to me at CombatACE. This terrain may NOT in any way, shape or form be used in any payware additions. -

1 pointIn passato ho giocato tanto a SF2. Veramente tanto. È partito tutto da un DVD di Strike Fighters Gold trovato per caso in edicola nella mia ultima estate "di libertà", quella tra l'esame di maturità e l'inizio degli studi universitari. È stato una droga per me. Come mod c'era TUTTO.

Nieuport 27 skins of 81a Squadriglia for EmID Nieuport N27_FAS First Eagles 2 This is a pack of skins focused on the history of the 81a Squadriglia. Historical notes: 81a Squadriglia of the "Corpo Aeronautico Militare" was founded at the Central Flying School in Arcade, Italy in March 1917. The squadron was displaced at the Battle of Caporetto. 81a Squadriglia joined 6o Gruppo at Istrana. The move would put them in position for the great air battle over their base on 26 December 1917. In February 1918, the squadron began replacing its Nieuport 17s with Hanriot HD.1s. Hanriot supplies being insufficient, some Nieuport 27s were also brought on strength. The squadron served on through Summer 1918. Then, on 26 October 1918, it was included in the Massa da Caccia (Fighter Mass) that supported the victorious final Italian offensive at Vittorio Veneto. When the war in northern Italy ended on 3 November 1918, the 81a Squadriglia had flown 4,118 combat sorties, engaged the enemy 230 times, and were credited with 34 aerial victories. The squadron suffered four dead. It still had 21 Hanriots and a Nieuport 27 in service. You will get better profit of these skins with the campaign "Armchair Aces Over Italy" by Ojcar. 1 pointYour progresses and awardes is in PilotData folder in *****..plt file but ther are no written missions. You can edit mission generator in compigne only. if i dont like weather or aircrafts i change it in campaigne****_DATA.ini file. to look at GermanyCE.INI, GERMANYCE_MOVEMENT.INI, GERMANYCE_TARGETS.INI, GermanyCE_nations.INI at Terrains folder is very useful. but this is all you can change. You can use tools for opening maps and extracting these files if you dont have it in your mod folder using Mues MuesToolBox. This tooll is here at Combatace. search it.

1 pointI assume you are talking SF2. You can save a campaign mission at mission completion. Easiest thing is to open the campaign, start a mission and hit Esc to end the mission. You should see a floppy disc icon that you can click to save the mission. That mission should be ready for edit by mission editor or simply notepad.

Vipers in Reserve F-16s in the USAF Reserves in the 1990s This mod is to represent the F-16 in AFRES service in the early 1990s. The loadouts are the same so you will be able to load the same weapons. ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************* NOTE 2: The F-16A Block 10s do not have corresponding B models at this time. The existing Generation 1 models in my opinion need more work than is feasible to bring them to SF2 standards. There are entries in the numbers.lst for B models in the event a new Block 10 two seater becomes available. ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************ LOADING SCREEN NOTE: I will be including various loading screens with the diferent packs available. different load screens will be available within each aircraft ini if you already had a different version and prefer that one, simply remove the "//" from the one you want and add to the one without. ************************************************************************************************************************************* Credits Viper Team F-16C Block 15,30,32 ravenclaw_007 F-16D Blocks 30,32, templates (C and D) killerbee331 original weapons pack that many armaments are drawn from here malibu43 2_LAU-88 mod to carry 4 Maverick rather than 6 daddyairplanes skins, tga work, much research, various ini edits, new TW inspired loading screens test team NightshadeP/R, allenjb42, Niels, bigstone, Wrench, Coupi, Svetlin I hope you enjoy this mod. daddyairplanes aka Kevin Unruh 13 Sep 2022 ************************************************************* This is freeware; it CANNOT be distributed unless permissions are granted by myself. The Petlyakov Pe-2 was a Soviet light bomber used during World War II. It was regarded as one of the best ground attack aircraft of the war and it was also successful in the roles of heavy fighter, reconnaissance and night fighter. Several Communist nations flew the type after the war, when it became known by the NATO reporting name Buck. This is the post-war plane. WHAT'S IN: - a new plane (*) - 19 skins (VVS, BVVS, CVL, PWL, ML, JVL, PLAAF) - decals - weapons, pilots, sounds - screens etc. CREDITS: - original plane A-TEAM / CAPUN (readme, copyright inside) - skins, decals, inis, srcreens etc. paulopanz INSTALL: (*) this is not a complete model: you need these files Pe-2-R4.LOD Pe-2-R3-MR80a.LOD Pe-2-R3-MR60a.LOD Pe-2-R3-MR60a.LOD Pe-2-R3-MR40a.LOD from the WWII Russian Install here: http://cplengineeringllc.com/SFP1/ (You have to be registered to D/L) Put them inside Pe-2 folder Then transfer all the files in your mod folder as usual Enjoy @ paulopanz -
1 pointDecided for a role reversal and take the KF2 on again. Last time it took me only five minutes to kill him but it can be done. Suffice to say that you need a good maneuverable plane to shoot it down. Most of my Blue on Red engagements are all standard fare with the Super Hornet. I take off from the carrrier and the opposing aircraft is already flying and I meet up and go there. Year: 2011 Aircraft/My loadout: F/A-18F with EPE/4 x AIM-9X, 4 x AIM-120. M61A1 Full load, 1 centerline tank Aircraft/Opposing loadout: KF2-HAMMER/2 x M61A1 For a BVR engagement the KF2 has a good stealth profile you're looking at WVR engagements if he hasn't already shot you down (the weapons are overmodeled but hey it is a What-If plane anyways) brecause you can pick up the radar but not lock it up.. Lock on with an AIM-9X is about ehh... five or so miles reliably, enough to shoot at him. I didn't bother with the AMRAAMs since I was close anyways. In the knife fight it is of course a beast, able to turn with you (much like my modded Super Hornet) and get in a good jockeying position. Eventually he got into a turning fight and I nosed up for the sky and managed to turn back into him, fired one 9X and missed. Re-attacked and got him with a 9X shot only by pushing my nose parallel with his flightpath generally and getting a good enough angle to shoot him down (third to last image). End opinion the KF2 is a very well designed and maneuverable aircraft, but don't bring an elephant gun to a pistol fight. Lighter, more maneuverable aircraft and off-boresight missiles (not sure how the AA-11 would do, maybe in the future) will get you a win against this if you make it into the WVR fight. And you'll notice the shots are out of sequence but not my fault...

Italy, Southern Europe (1993-2006) Terrain September 13th, 2022 (1st Release) by Menrva and tiopilotos >For Strike Fighters 2, Recommended Full-5 Merged I am very proud to release a long awaited, brand new terrain made from scratch! The terrain completely covers Italy (with the exception of Sicily, which is included in my Libya terrain), Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Albania, Corsica (France), Liechtenstein and nice portions of Austria, Hungary, Switzerland, Macedonia, Greece and even a bit of Romania. The terrain spans from April 12, 1993 (the beginning of Operation Deny Flight) to June 2, 2006 (the day before Montenegro declared its independence). This terrain is adapt for the Yugoslav Wars and for what-if scenarios pitting Serbia against NATO. For gameplay purposes, Bosnia is set to Red Side alongside Serbia and Montenegro. Slovenia, Croatia and Macedonia are set to Blue Side. Airfields in Austria, Switzerland and Romania have been set to Neutral, so the AI and the player will never spawn on those by default.
