A few days back, i had the chance to travel to Europe, this was a long delayed (for several reasons) trip i had and had also the opportunity to meet some of the CA old timer guys, must say pics speak a thousand words, so, i will spam with some: The first guy i met as i arrived to Amsterdam was my master @logan4 and we made a visit to the Lelystad Museum, my first time watching up close with a MiG-21 Love at first sight! Many More planes seen that day Next day i met another long time friend @Muesli and went to met some places: And the next day, we had a very nice day, we mat @Derk and he kindly made a guided day on the National Militair Museum, 4 CA team members together! Later in the week we met @76.IAP-Blackbird and headed for Germany, no planes this time, but good plans (and stairs) and good times! After some (not much) days, i moved over to Cracow to met the final guy, our very @Stary and we were able to have some good time (eating pierogis) that night Next day, i HAD TO pay a visit to Auschwitz and Birkenau Museums And for the last day, we met again with Stary to go to the Lotnictwa Museum in Cracow, where i was a kid in a candy shop with so many MiGs, Sukhois and others around! All in all, it has been a hell of a trip, and, once again, i would like to thank you guys for making it to happen! And the saddest part of the trip... Thanks CA for the friendship!!!

Great trip. Happy that you enjoyed Krakow and the museum there. It is nice to see "my backyard" again, even in photos. Although it is painful to see that condition of aircrafts still deteriorates.

I guess a very brief description of the differences would be that provided in Wikipedia for EQ-6 - new Sherloc digital RWR, new Cyrano IV-SP1 radar, and capable of carrying two Exocet missiles at once. 30 built Mirage F1EQ-5 is capable of carrying a single Exocet under the fuselage. Other sources indicate Cyrano IV-MR radar with terrain avoidance capability for the EQ-6. An interesting piece of information on the EQ-6, that I came across, is that back in 1989 those were equipped with rails to carry and launch Kh-29L soviet/russian laser guided A2G missiles. On a different note, I am happy to see new Mirage F1 variants with later cockpits and more recce, ECM, etc. pods included in the weapons list, so I hope we are close to the moment when it will be time for updated Mirage F1CT/CR versions.

Outstanding work, Gepard! It's a tragedy that all of that is a current warzone, but in a way you're giving light to it with such artistic work. Props to you.

View File SF2 3W B-52D/F Upgrade/Mod Pack SF2 3W B-52D/F Upgrade/Mod Pack 9/28/2022 -For SF2 (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended =MUST= have SF2:V installed!!)- This pack contains some mods to the stock 3rd Wire B-52D & the user made B-52F model "Stratofortress" as used by SAC during the 1950s through the 1980s. There are actually 3 aircraft in this pack; due to "oddities" with some loadouts, I found this was easier to do: B-52D (57-64) nuclear strike B-52D (64-83) conventional, with "Big Belly" mods B-52F (58-78) conventional & Nukes. The F, while retaining is nuke abilities, is mostly for conventional iron bombing after 1965. Almost all markings are decals, with very few things painted on. All serial numbers are historically correct for the models depectied. BUT the D cereals should be considered 'generic' in nature as they represent no particular unit. The F serials, OTH, and the nose arts, are also correct, but not 'per squadron/wing'. It should be noted, the F gets all serials for the 89 aircraft produced. These are updated version of the originals issued in 2009. The D model gets all new decals, made for this mod. Decal randomization is true. Most skins remain in their 1stGen bmp format. New sounds, effects, pilot/gunner figures, weapons, and hangar & loading screens. Various effects are included for the nuclear weapons. The SF2 date switch is used for some skins, and also in the loadout ini with year-specific loadouts. These aircraft are equipped with an "optical" bombsight for you perverts that inisist on flying the Heavies <g>. In each aircraft's folder is an instructional jpg on "how to". There are also different loadouts for conventional or nuke, accessable through the games' mission editor. An example of the skin listing, from the 52F: 2nd BW >1964 7th BW (3960th BW) <1964 the >1964 (less than or 64 and eariler) and <1964 (after 1964 ie: 65 start date). This should give the general idear. As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE read them, before installing!!! As always, =PLEASE= read the "Notes" section for various thoughts and musing on this mod. There might even be valuable data/information for you to find! ALL original readmes have been included, when discoverable. Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein Submitter Wrench Submitted 10/07/2022 Category B-52

and then it was October. the necrothread rose from the depths.... with a low gutteral breathe it kept calling out... Moddddds.... and with that the bump. we have a damn good terrain for this finally, and many objects and skins since this was last visited. any (serious) thoughts on getting this back on track? not trying to rush it at all here. 30th anniversary of Banja Luka engagement (NATOs first active combat action) isnt for almost a year and a half. but It would be nice to revisit the major military actions that were ongoing in the 90s (besides occasional actions in Iraq) its a good excuse to break out the Euro Herks too going into Sarejevo

The town of Energodar is finished now. 481 buildings. It looks like a typical soviet town of the 1980th.

The original version had only one location on each terrain for the fight to be held. Now, if the terrain has a types.ini or dogfight.ini (or both) file then they are read and added to the locations list for that terrain. Once a location is selected you can also modify the x and y positions for that location with two coordinate buttons. But the major reason for the change, as far as I'm concerned, was to allow different textures to be applied to all flights of aircraft. Yes you can do this for the players flight inside strikefighter/firsteagle but this allows you to select the texture of your other allies and enemies. This allow me to make more use of the wonderful textures from Julio Junqueria, Eugene2, Gertl, Trokski00, Stephen1918 (Planes too!) etc etc (I'm mainly a First Eagles player).

File Name: Fouga IAI Tuzkit File Submitter: paulopanz File Submitted: 05 March 2015 File Category: Israeli Origin The Israeli Air Force operated a license-manufactured version, the IAI Tzukit. While principally a trainer, it was used in the 1967 Six Day War by 147 Squadron as a close support aircraft, attacking targets on the Egyptian front during the first day of the war, when Israel's more capable combat aircraft were deployed on Operation Focus against Arab air bases. They were then deployed against Jordanian forces, including armour, on the West Bank. The Magister proved effective at the close-support mission albeit with heavy casualties, with six being lost. 9 former Israeli and 3 French Magisters were acquired by the Salvadoran Air Force and used as both trainers and ground attack aircraft in the Salvadoran Civil War using bombs and nose-mounted 7.62mm machine guns. None are recorded as being lost to enemy fire, but only five were in operational condition by the end of the war. What's in: - A new plane; - 9 skins; - Historical decalsets; - Open canopy 10 key auto closing at take off; - Weapons - "real" sound; - Screens; - Loadout.tga; Credits: - Veltro2K - plane model; - Coupi ini edits, 1 Salvador Skin; - Paulopanz Templates, IDF skins, decals; - Baffmeister final data.ini and proper FM; - Spillone104 - sound; - Guyran & Nesher proper IDF writings; Install: - all mod folder content in your mod install - overwrite This is a dream gone true.
