I just completed the model and had the first test in the game after completing the work. Next, I will send the files to Coupi, to work on the data files. One last thing we had the pilot sitting outside to get a better view of the Su-35 and report back.

Even if it's an AI jet, it looks pretty good.

Something that happens to me with the F-35 that does not convince me is the canopy, when this model came out there were surely not many photos of that detail and the glass ended up with the very angled front frame, it reminds me a bit of the F-117 . In my pending ideas was to redo the 3d with a smoother arc and add it as a false seat, but I would have to assume that I would lose the canopy opening animation. Another detail that I discovered is that the F-35C (naval) has 2 wheels on the front landing gear and not one as the model turned out, but hey, this is being picky Congrats on the work it looks much nice, in my short time I will see how the idea of the cabin canopy is turned around and I will tell you how it goes with it

MB-339 Release The MB-339 is an Italian, single engine, twin seat, jet trainer and light attack aircraft that was derived from the Cold War MB-326. The aircraft entered service in the early 1980s and quickly became the primary trainer of the Italian Air Force. The MB-339 was exported and many are still in service. Flown by the Armada de la República Argentina (Argentine Navy), this aircraft took part in the Falklands-Malvinas war. It was also used by the Eritrean Air Force against rebels, smugglers, and the Ethiopian Air Force. Historic operators of the A version of the MB-339 were the Air Forces of Italy, Malaysia, Nigeria, Peru, United Arab Emirates, Argentina and Ghana. Thanks to its superb flying qualities, the MB-339’s PAN aerobatic version is also used by two national aerobatic teams: The “Frecce Tricolori” (Italian Air Force) and the “Al Fursan” (“The Knights” – UAE Air Force). The MB-339 is the only jet aircraft capable of performing the famous Lomcovák maneuver. The MB-339 will be released in an almost feature-complete state. Some of the most interesting features available at release include: A highly advanced Flight Model based on performance and engineering data from the real aircraft. Furthermore, the flight model has been deeply tested by former MB-339 Frecce Tricolori pilots. Extensive and detailed simulation of all flight systems: Flight control system. Full electrical system including circuit breakers logic. Detailed hydraulic system. Fuel system. Oxygen and pressurization systems. Navigation systems: TACAN, VOR/ILS, and AHRS/GPS including the possibility to load a custom data cartridge. Blind flying hood. Radios compatible with SRS and DCS voice. Internal and external lighting. Armament system. Smoke system. A highly accurate 3D model that is based on blueprints and surveys of the real MB-339. The model includes a complete set of animations, lighting and a detailed damage model. A very accurate 6-DOF (Degrees of Freedom) cockpit with realistic and detailed instruments, controls, and textures. The cockpit is VR-ready. Weapons: Anti runway Durandal. Cluster Belouga bombs. BAP-120 and BAP-100. Pod conformal cannons DEFA 553 30mm. Pod conformal machine guns AN-M3 12.7mm. Pod conformal camera (only visual at release). Travel pod. SAAB J29G - 117 Squadron, Israeli Air Force, 1967 During 1956 and 1957 SAAB converted 308 J 29B and J 29E aircraft to J 29F's. In late 1957, with the imminent entry into service of the J 35A Draken, the Swedish Government declared that 40 J 29F's could be offered for export to the Israeli Government who had already made tentative enquiries about the type. Despite having only recently been upgraded the aircraft were overhauled by SAAB to emerge as J 29G's with new Israeli specified inboard missile pylons initially for the AIM-9 Sidewinder short-range air-to-air missile (which had entered service with the US Navy in 1956) but also suitable for the proposed indigenous Shafrir-1 air-to-air missile. Entering service with 117 Squadron of the Israeli Air Force in October 1958 the J 29G's equipped two squadrons (117 and 119) before being retired from service in 1968.

Kesselbrut Me 109 cockpit textures pack for Strike Fighters 2 (WW2 modded games). I finished a pack for Kesselbrut's Me 109 cockpit, with new textures and new painting approach. Releasing, optional textures for early Me 109 cockpit. The first Me 109s (B/C/D and early Es versions) had their interiors painted with the RLM 63 (grüngrau) which was later replaced by the RLM 66 (schwarzgrau). This option could be, very useful for the Me 109 made by Monty CZ. The size of some instruments was slightly increased and TGA figures as well, for a better view of them. The cockpit 3D LODs are setted to use jpg files. I'm including also, 5 optional textures for the pilot's legs (Ger_legs). You will find it in the folder (OPTIONAL LEGS). To use one of them just rename the file at your choice to ----> Ger_legs. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Installation instructions for Strike Fighters 2: First make a back-up or rename your "original cockpit folder". This is just in case you wish return with your former cockpit later. Then just drop or copy my folder "cockpit" in your Bf 109 aircraft folder of your choice. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________ *OPTIONAL* I slightly modded my MinPitchFront & my GunsightMilSize for a better cockpit and Gunsight views (see the screenshots). If you wish to use my MinPitchFront & GunsightMilSize edition ini, Open your Bf-109 cockpit data.ini and make these following editions: [GunsightFront] GunsightMilSize=125 <----------------- you must to add this valor. [CockpitSeat001] MinPitchFront=-57 <----------------- you must to add this valor. This is not mandatory. All cockpit files will work normally without this edition as well That's all. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Credits: - Julio Junqueira skin textures (JPG & TGA files) for Me 109 cockpit. - Kesselbrut for the Cockpit 3D LODs. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________ - Thanks to Kesselbrut for the excellent Me 109 cockpit model. - special thanks to CombatAce.com hosting the files. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________ These textures are freeware; you are allowed to use it as you wish, but The names of all contributors listed here, must be added in any new released readmes. These textures may not in any way, be used in any payware additions. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________

I refuse to believe that this was a scam/money grab .. maybe I'm naive, but I truly think that he was serious about the update. I know he didn't raise what he expected, and this is the result .. I guess I'd better resign myself to the fact that SF2 will remain as is .. it's a crying shame though because this game is so bloody cool!

Unfortunately, I have to agree. I suppose we were all pinning our hopes on the release of the windows 10 update; but this has not materialized and I've given up hope that it ever will. If something miraculous happens and we see an update then maybe all the work we modders put into the game will have some purpose .. but as it stands, I have to concede that we modders are working inordinate numbers of hours to please only ourselves, each other, and the handful of users left. I wish TK would read these forums and at least give us a clear idea of what to (or not to) expect.

Sorry but no. These versions I've uploaded are not even complete as I already explained in the first post. I'd rather complete them someday rather than starting a new one. They were started in 2017 and only got released in 2022. A WW2 version would require even more researches from zero and lots of free time I lack. Strike Fighters 2 is pretty much dead, we few remaining modders can keep it alive only for so long. A mere hundred downloads don't justify spending some years behind the development of a new terrain. Sometimes it feels like a waste of effort to my eyes. I wish the community was still active as it used to be. These days it's mostly about end-users asking for such free additions. Unfortunately this stuff doesn't grow on trees and actually is very annoying to develop in the long term.

Thanks to the kindness and work of @Dels, the F-19 now features two different cockpits, the end-user can choose which one to use. Here below, screenshots showcasing the different skins for the aircraft. I didn't get any response from Julhelm yet to the PM I sent him. I would like to re-release it but I would also like to have his explicit permission. I'm not sure if he would be fine with it. EDIT: I managed to ask @Julhelm for permission on TW's Discord server. I got the green light. It'll be released when it's time. My thanks to him.

SWOTL: Battle of Britain Despite having their backs to the wall and operating from bases in Germany itself, the Luftwaffe's wunderwaffen still have the ability to strike back at the allies, and the RAF rises to the challenge once again... Jet combat over the English countryside... Of course it wouldn't be the Battle of Britain without Spitfires taking on the Messerschmitt escort...
