that would be another TK suicide. At least not worth any penny unless the whole sack of bugs would be addressed. new theater, campaign, and again players would complain about historical accuracy, phases of the moon, and birds chirping - and started to mod it anyway. I said it before and will say it again. This game in versions 3, 4, or even 5 would not require new aircraft, objects, or terrains. This can be handled quite easily. And this site/forum is a quite decent example. If we look at the aircraft library not sure how 'developer' could surprise us.... What this game needs is.... and here I will stop.

is this the new metric to complain by? have rivets become last century? and why do the birds chirp in mp3 rather than wav in Iceland?!?!?!?

This ! ...is the #1 issue to address. It completely ruins the immersion of the game. I'm about to rage-quit / uninstall everything if a fix isn't available in the next 2 weeks. *

OK for those unfamiliar with the New Order, It's a Mod for the grand strategy game Hearts of Iron 4 set in a universe where Nazi Germany won World War 2. The Soviet remnants managed to retreat fairly intact and wage an effective resistance culminating in the West Russian War in the 1950s which saw Nazi German government almost collapse due to an Economic Crisis and the rebellion of SS units under Heinrich Himmler (exiled to create his own giant SS concentration camp/state in Burgundy). Only the splintering of the Soviet remnants prevented their victory and saw Russia balkanize into warlord states (some with their own air forces). England is a vassal state in this Universe under Edward VIII and in a tense standoff with an independent Scotland and Wales. Ireland is within the German Sphere, while Italy, no longer a German ally after Mussolini's death, largely controls Mediterranean and is heading towards a confrontation with a United Iberia and Turkey for total supremacy in the Mediterranean. the Empire of Japan has managed to escape Germany style stagnation and become an industrial power rivaling the United States (thanks to its corporate tech innovation and brutal control of China and Maritime Southeast Asia) and is increasingly trespassing in German affairs in colonial Africa, and U.S affairs in Latin America. The 1950s west Russian War campaign would be fairly easy to create, with just Me-262s, Arado Jet bombers for the Luftwaffe and some P-80s (lend-lease) and Mig-9 Fargo for the Red Air Force, perhaps a squadron of some MiG-15s (due to Soviet defeat and German economic crisis, European aviation industry severely lagged behind and in the start of the game only few Russian warlord states have aircraft inventory while Nazi Germany still largely operates somewhat modernized versions of Schwalbe and Hortens.) The start of the 1960s Cold War would be the most interesting part due to the German Civil War, Great Afrikan War (West, Japan and Germany's proxy conflict strongly mirroring the Vietnam War) and the Oil War of 1970 but would be far harder to emulate as that's where newer fighter models of the Luftwaffe begins to enter service (not available in the downloads section lol!) but I guess there could be some stand-ins (Mirage F1s and Super Etendards since the Vichy French regime aren't allowed an Air-Force and their military uses German gear so it's not Far fetched French Aviation engineers would be closely tied with the Luftwaffe.) There are a lot of potential to utilize the extensive array of fictional and What-If aircraft in the download section, and I'm curious what are your thoughts on this? well who's to say how European aircraft developemnt would go in such a scenario? The engineers and designers of the Mirages would be working for Messerschmitt rather than Dassault. Take some time to change the names of various weapons and aircraft and boom, Wunderwaffe 1961. Works for traditional aircraft reimagined (Spinners is a master at doing that) or the what if's

Dornier Do-17K - 1st Bomber regiment, Parani Army Air Force, 1941 In June 1936, the Yugoslavian government ordered 36 Do 17E bombers from Germany and following protracted negotiations they eventually succeeded in obtaining a production licence to build the majority of these as the Do 17K variant powered by the French Gnome-Rhône Mistral Major engine. After production for the Royal Yugoslav Air Force was completed in April 1939 the Yugoslavian government were approached by Paran who wanted a new modern bomber aircraft for the rapidly expanding Parani Army Air Force and the sale of 24 Do 17K's was agreed. Entering service with the 1st Bomber Regiment of the Parani Army Air Force in early 1941 the Do 17K's were first used in anger in a successful attack on the Al'Mahrag Docks in northern Dhimar on September 21st, 1941. With only a handful of P-36's defending northern Dhimar, the Do 17K's of the 1st Bomber Regiment roamed virtually unchallenged over northern Dhimar until the arrival of the Republic P-43 Lancers in the Spring of 1942. Cool pics! First found this on Il2: 1946, where the plane came with the belly metal plate simulated with a cool effect, and even the small deflector on rear wheel being that one solid to avoid problems with heat, nice details for such an old sim.

Another opera omnia-like release by Jarek. The amount of research and development is mind-blowing. Users, don't forget to read the description entirely.

One thing, which i had forgotten, when i released Battle of Britain 2 Operation Sealion terrain some years ago, was to make correct TOD files for some farm tiles. That caused trees and buildings at the wrong position. Now i made new TOD files for that farm files and it looks better now. I think i should release a small patch for BoB2 terrain.

Soviet Spitfires x 2 for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2 This is a simple mod of the stock Spitfire IXc and clipped-wing Spitfire IXe to create flyable Spits in service with the Soviet Air Force in the 1943-1945 timeline. I've chosen to put these into the 'what-if' hangar due to the very generic nature of the 'winter' schemes and markings but please note that both of the 'summer' schemes are based on real aircraft and include Spitfires flown by the famous pilots Juan Lario Sanchez (Yellow 3) and Alexander Karpov (White 32). INSTRUCTIONS 1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the Spitfire9c_Sov and Spitfire9e_Sov folders into your Aircraft folder. 2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the Spitfire9c_Sov and Spitfire9e_Sov folders into your Decals folder. That's it! Please note that you will need a suitable 'prop' pilot. Please also note that you should really create a new nation for a WW2 Soviet Union. Experienced WW2 players will probably already have one but check your nation name as it might be different from my preferred nation name of 'SovietWW2'. CREDITS As always, thanks to Third Wire for a great little game/sim. Extra special thanks to Starfighter2 for the Spitfire cockpit. And, finally, thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community.
