Well, folder support would actually be useful, it would allow us to replicate the stock game's .CAT archives. I think it's worth having. It depends. I experimented with a terrain packed into a CAT and there was no such gain. The real gain, if folder support is added, is to have identical textures be shared between objects instead of having dozens of copies of the same texture. That would bring some gain. An effective way to optimize stuff would be to map aircraft and object 3d models to a limited number of texture files. Having 4 or 5 bitmaps for each aircraft skin surely offers best quality but at much expense of VRAM. That is why sometimes you get black/missing textures in ODS and in other bigger mods. How the game loads textures into VRAM is not in our control and from what I see the game is ineffecient on this end; play consecutive missions in a campaign and it feels like VRAM is filled with textures loaded from those previous missions, even if certain objects are no longer present in the new mission. Unfortunately it's not like we can remodel and remap hundreds of aircraft. Resizing all textures to 1k or 512 resolution is out of question for ODS, I already lost weeks in resizing most of them manually to reasonable values as a compromise between quality and performance.

Well i have to disagree. If us modders can create cat file - creating complex mods would be much easier. I could make 6 versions of one cockpit but still use majority of skin jpges from one dedicated cat file...and then few aircraft can use same cockpit which result in saving disk space in case of big mods...one harrier can use one dedicated cat file cockpit in few different game mods ...not to mention easier life for ground object modders and terraformers.

This has been a labor of love for my all-time favorite fighter aircraft. The service period of this aircraft fits perfectly with the time period that the Strike Fighters 2 game engine gives its best: Gun armed jet fighters with short range missiles and early/ limited avionics. Changes: - The ‘SF2V Air & Ground War Expansion v.2.0 Gold’ and ‘F-8 DATA & LOADOUT v1.0 update’ here at CA were used as a starting point for this project. - Maximum G has been changed to 6.3 which is the airframe structural limit in all NATOPS publications. - There are automatically operating ‘fake’ leading edge droops (slats) that simulates the pilot being able to lower them a few degrees with a button on the throttle for cruising flight and manoeuvring flight (aka dog fighting). By ‘fake’ I mean they are not player operated in SF2 or linked to the 3D model but the aerodynamic effect is realistically simulated. You will notice the droop indicator in the cockpit will change with them however. If they were manually controlled in the game the AI would not use them correctly. - Single AIM-9 missiles and rails can be loaded instead of the Y-racks on all F-8 variants. This is done at the loadout screen (and by the loadout.ini file) it is set up so you cannot load single missiles/ rails and double missiles/ Y-racks at the same time. - Cannons harmonized as per NATOPS manual and gun accuracy adjusted to real world levels. - Adjustment to most decal positions and inclusion of Squadron codes on the wings. - Additional details added to most stock skins. - Additional squadron specific higher resolution skins with more accurate markings for that particular squadron. - Included for F-8J (69) is a proposed SEA camo overpaint for the VF-211 aircraft on detachment at Udorn in early 1972 to school USAF pilots in Dogfighting. The repaint was initially agreed to but it would have added 1200lbs so it was abandoned. If you wish to use it and fly DACT against USAF Phantoms you can load the extra 1200lb at the load out screen via a unique station specific hard point. - Overhaul of each data.ini and avionics.ini to bring them in line with the information in the F-8 NATOPS manuals, NATOPS supplements and F-8 Tactics manual. - More detailed pilots and ejection seats. - Fully compatible with ‘SF2V Air & Ground War Expansion v.2.0 Gold’ or Third Wire SF2V campaigns. - Additional year specific aircraft to better reflect physical and avionic changes. As well as correcting a few mistakes and omissions by Third Wire. - Below is the updated list of F-8 Crusader variants with the original Third Wire description where appropriate and the specific major changes made in addition to the general ones listed above: F-8C The F-8C (F8U-2) entered service in 1959. F-8C is powered by J57-P-16 afterburning turbojet and can reach speed of Mach 1.6. - Missing radar symbology added and radar performance/ parameters corrected. The radar cursor for selecting a target is a long horizontal line that moves up from the bottom of the scope and is only adjustable in range and not azimuth to select a specific radar contact. F-8C (66) In 1966, F-8C received ALQ-51 ECM and chaff dispensers under project "SHOEHORN", after A-4 and F-4 were upgraded. The cannon ammo capacity is reduced slightly to make room for the ECM black box. - Uses the TW F-8D model modified into a F-8C in order for it to have the Y-rack Fuselage weapon rails. F-8D The F-8D (F8U-2N) was the all-weather interceptor version, entering service in 1960. It is equipped with AN/APQ-83 radar and more powerful J57-P-20 engine. - Missing radar symbology added including steering circle, aiming dot, break X and missile max range. F-8D (66) F-8D also received ALQ-51 ECM and chaff dispensers under project "SHOEHORN" in 1966. The cannon ammo capacity is reduced slightly to make room for the ECM black box. F-8E The F-8E (F8U-2NE), entering service in 1962, was the final production version of the Crusader. It is equipped with better AN/APQ-94 radar, and two underwing pylons for air-to-ground ordnance. - Radar frame lock, range and shoot cue lights all completely changed and now function correctly. See screenshot for more information. - Missing radar symbology added including range rate circle, which also doubles as the steering circle, aiming dot, break X and missile max range. - Missile firing order and cockpit weapon station section dial corrected. F-8E (66) F-8E also received ALQ-51 ECM and chaff dispensers under project "SHOEHORN" in 1966. The cannon ammo capacity is reduced slightly to make room for the ECM black box. - Significant use of the AIM-9C as after a lot of research it turns out they were commonly carried over Vietnam in this period, notably by VF-211. F-8E(FN) The F-8E(FN) is the French Aeronautique Navale version of the F-8 armed with Matra R.530 missiles. Nicknamed "Le Crouze" by the French crew, it operated off Clemenceau-class carriers from 1964 to 1994 until they were upgraded to F-8P standard. F-8E(FN) introduced many of the features, such as double-hinged leading edge flaps and drooping ailerons, that were later incorporated into remanufactured F-8J for the US Navy. - Equipped with the nose mounted IRST system like the USN F-8D and E. - This is the TW F-8J model modified into a F-8E(FN) so the DLC is NOT required. - Radar frame lock, range and shoot cue lights all completely changed and now function correctly. See screenshot for more information. - Location of Matra R.530 missile rails corrected. F-8E(FN) (70) - The nose mounted IRST system is removed from all French aircraft. F-8P(FN) - 17 F-8E(FN) are upgraded to extend their service life, included is the Sherloc RWR system. - This is the TW F-8J model modified into a F-8P(FN) so the DLC is NOT required. F-8P(FN) (94) - F-8P(FN) are fitted with a GPS navigation system and antenna. F-8H Starting in 1967, F-8Ds were remanufactured as F-8H, with improved AN/APQ-149 radar, ALQ-51 ECM, and the same underwing pylons as F-8E. - Retains the AN/APQ-83 radar from the F-8D but uses the physically larger and higher resolution cockpit radar display from the F-8E. - Missing radar symbology added including steering circle, aiming dot, break X and missile max range. - Radar frame lock, range and shoot cue lights all completely changed and now function correctly. See attached for more information. - Missile firing order and cockpit weapon station section dial corrected. F-8H (69) F-8H is re-engined in 1969 with more powerful J57-P-420 engine. It also has improved ALQ-100 ECM in a larger pod, and full cannon ammo capacity restored. - Improved AN/APQ-149 radar fitted in place of the AN/APQ-83. - Additional missing radar symbology added including separate larger range rate circle and separate smaller steering circle. - A lot of fleet F-8H around this period have had their Nose IRST system (temporarily?) removed. - Retains the ALQ-51 ECM. F-8H (74) - After the Vietnam war F-8H has the improved ALQ-100 ECM in a larger pod installed, and full cannon ammo capacity restored. F-8J F-8J is a remanufactured F-8E with improved AN/APQ-149 radar, ALQ-51 ECM, and other improvements such as double-hinged leading edge flaps and drooping ailerons. However, its performance has suffered significantly due to increases in its weight. - Improved AN/APQ-124 radar installed. - Radar frame lock, range and shoot cue lights all completely changed and now function correctly. See screenshot for more information. - Missing radar symbology added including separate larger range rate circle, separate smaller steering circle, aiming dot, break X and missile max range. - Missile firing order and cockpit weapon station section dial corrected. F-8J (69) To restore lost performance due to increased weight, F-8J is re-engined in 1969 with more powerful J57-P-420 engine. It also has improved ALQ-100 ECM in a larger pod, and full cannon ammo capacity restored. F-8J (75) - In 1975 the remaining fleet F-8J (along with the RF-8G) receive the ALQ-126 ECM and ALR-45/50 RHAW RWR. The nose mounted IRST system is permanently removed. F-8J (75) [w RWR] - Identical to F-8J (75) above except: - The cockpit radar display functions as a Vector RWR and not a radar. This is because in real life the pilot could change the radar scope from displaying radar images or displaying the RWR images. The F-8J did not have a separate RWR display. There was a setting in which it would be displaying radar images but if a missile launch was detected the threat bearing line would be displayed flashing over top of the radar images. Not possible in SF2 unfortunately. To install: 1, Unpack and drop into your main mods folder. 2, Override when prompted. Credits: - ‘F-8 DATA & LOADOUT v1.0 update’ by FANATIC MODDER. - ‘SF2V Air & Ground War Expansion v.2.0 Gold’ by Eburger68 and team. - ‘F-8E(FN) Crouze & F-8P(FN) Crouze Prolongé 1.1’ by Paulopanz, Denis Oliveira & Coupi. - Weapons by Ravenclaw_007. - Template by Geary. - Blade. - Wrench. Wait and see what pans out really - I think they are just developing one for now. Yes they could export the settings out like TW did - like everything needs time and will to do it. It just goes to show you how much of the source code has been rewritten because if you ever played with the source code like I have............even doing the GUI was major challenge because it was all so entangled with other classes.................. and at the same time you are having to convert it over to use modern C++ syntax and concepts.

My original plan was to release a simple version of the Rio de la Plata terrain for X-Mas. But i'm still debugging the files. Mostly it are parked aircrafts, which appear, where they are not should be. I hope i can finish it till end of the week. The scenario so far is: 1982. After the argentinan attack on the Falkland islands the Royal Navy is striking back, with an invasion of Argentina. Beachheads were formed and the Argentinian Army is trying to push the British out of the land. For the RoyalNavy and the allied Brazilians you can fly: SWEEP,CAP,ESCORT,INTERCEPT,STRIKE,SEAD,ANTI_SHIP,RECON,CAS,Armed_Recon For the Argentinians you can fly: SWEEP,CAP,ESCORT,INTERCEPT,STRIKE,SEAD,ANTI_SHIP,CAS Since british and argentinian carrier groups are in the area STRIKE missions are always flown against the enemy carrier. Dagger over the Pampa, hunting for british tanks.

Journal of FSLt Douglas Bell-Gordon, RNAS Part 9 Thursday 30 November 1916. Vert Galant aerodrome. “Naval Eight” has become home in a remarkably short period of time. It’s a jolly place populated by truly fine fellows. We are now comfortably lodged in our Nissen huts. Mine is shared with only three others, although we could accept two more in a pinch. Farthest from the door on the left is Huntington, a bank clerk from just outside London. He is forever banging on about Eliza, a girl back home whom he is “ever so fond of”. Of course, we all make terrible fun of this and have tagged poor Eliza with a reputation vile enough to match her taste in men! It’s great fun to watch Huntington turn purple with rage until he realises that we are simply winding him up. Across from Huntington on the right is Simpson. He is a Londoner as well and speaks with a very posh accent. From what I gather, his family has a few bob to rub together. Since he was born in Australia, I have taken to referring to him as our escaped convict. To the left as you enter the hut you will find Reggie Soar, a Yorkshireman. He has been flying since rather early in the war and was with 3 Wing in the Dardanelles. Reggie is a bit of a character. Put a few pints of beer in him and you can’t understand a word he says. That leaves me – my little piece of France is just to the right of the door. Last Sunday we escorted three BE2s over the lines to drop some bombs and had a very brief run-in with a group of Halberstadt scouts. A Flight joined in and our Flight Commander, Flight Lieutenant Goble, signalled for us to break off and remain with the two-seaters, leaving all the fund to A Flight. It then rained Monday through Wednesday. It was during that period that we moved from the house on the main road into the hut. On Tuesday, we were able to get a ride into Amiens and do some serious shopping. After loading a tender with things we bought for the hut, we gave the driver a few francs for dinner and headed to find a dinner of our own. Amiens has a number of fine establishments. I’d already heard of Godbout’s. We decided against it. Too many senior officers and we were likely to be loud. It was Reggie who made the choice. He had received a tip about a place called Josephine’s on the Rue des Trois Cailloux – the street of the three pebbles. We found the street but needed to ask a few people before we found the restaurant. It was through a door off the street and up a winding stair. The place was already full and we were provided with glasses and a bottle of red wine and invited to sit on the stair until someone left. When at last we were seated, it did not disappoint. The floor crunched underneath with oyster shells and the smell of roast chicken and patates frîtes blended with the smell of tired subalterns, French officers, and their wives for the evening. We sat down to an absolutely marvellous feast of oysters, sausages, roast chicken, fried potatoes, and pickled red cabbage with chestnuts and apple. Bottle after bottle of vin rouge came and went until we happily emptied our pockets of money and bade our hostess a fond “à la prochaine”. Our shopping produced two stuffed armchairs, three wooden chairs, a round table with a red and white checked tablecloth, some bookshelves, and an oriental rug that looks marvellous if the lamps are turned down low enough. Now we have rigged some wooden frames on which we will hang printed material to form some sort of partition between our “rooms”. The iron stove throws out an acceptable amount of heat as long as one stays in the area of the carpet and armchairs in the middle of the hut. Our sleeping areas are not quite as toasty. I have got into the habit of laying my clothes out on the cot and spreading my valise and blanket bag on top of them. If I get into bed carefully I can pull my flying coat over top of me to keep the cold out, and in the morning I find my clothes warm and (after a fashion) pressed. That brings us to today. Goble led Huskisson and I on a line patrol at eight o’clock this morning. We flew a beat of twenty miles down and up the lines east of Albert. On our second go-around, Goble suddenly waggled his wings and began to climb. After a minute or two, I made out two machines about a mile and a half away to the south. We got within a half-mile when they saw us and turned to engage. They were two-seaters, very streamlined and nasty looking. Rolands! These were the first I’d seen. The entire time I had flown in Strutters, I had learned the better part of valour. This would have been the perfect moment to put one’s nose down and head for home. But now that we had these Sopwith “Pups”, as they were being referred to, running away was no longer on. Instead, one was supposed to smile cheerfully and exclaim, “Huns – good-O!” My own words were a bit less enthusiastic. I’ll leave them to your imagination. But the fight was on and I was in it. Huskisson turned to the right in a vertical bank to get behind one of these slim blue machines. I followed, taking care not to interfere with his shooting and especially not to collide with his machine. The Hun observer fired at Huskisson and then turned his gun towards me. Two or three rounds hit my left wings. I dived beneath the Hun and zoomed to find it turning left. I fired ahead of the enemy machine and let it fly through the stream of my bullets. They seemed to have no effect. The HA spiralled downwards. Huskisson got a crack at him and then I did. Then the Hun observer put more rounds into both of us. From time to time, I had to break off to find Huskisson and assure myself that we were not trying to use the same bit of sky. Then I caught the Hun in a sharp bank and hit him with a good burst from directly above. I had to throttle back and gently level off to avoid tearing my Pup apart. Where was he? I saw the Roland much lower down. He was spinning slowly with his nose down. Huskisson dived at him and fired a few rounds from a long distance. The Hun machine kept descending and finally smashed into a field just behind our lines near Fricourt. When we returned to Vert Galant we filed our reports. Huskisson (who is the squadron second in command) was a good fellow and freely stated that the Roland was completely out of control and irredeemably lost before his final burst. So, it seems that I have now achieved my first confirmed victory in a scout and my third overall. A great celebration is planned for this evening in the wardroom, and I have been warned to wear my oldest monkey jacket for the event.

HQ-9 Self Propelled Air Defence System The FD-2000/HQ-9 was developed to provide a long range SAM capability, distinct from the medium range capabilities of the HQ-12/KS-1 series. The FT-2000 is a derivative which is fitted with an anti-radiation seeker and intended for engagements against AEW&C/AWACS and stand-off jamming aircraft. The HQ-9 is supported by the HT-233 phased array engagement radar, like the H-200 modelled on the MPQ-53 and 30N6E designs, carried on a Taian TAS5501 series 10 x 10 high mobility vehicle, common to the HQ-9 TEL and similar in design to the S-400's BAZ-6900 series vehicle. Chinese sources claim C-band operation with 300 MHz receiver/antenna bandwidth, detection and tracking range of 150/100 km, and monopulse angle tracking to resist jamming. The design bears considerable similarity to the 30N6E series, especially in the antenna design. Recently disclosed imagery shows the use of the self-propelled Type 305A, Type 305B and Type 120 radars as the battery acquisition radar component. The designation FD-2000 is for export configurations of the HQ-9. Instalation: ------------------------------------------------------------- Put the content of the objects/ folder in your mod folder. YAK-130 (NATO code name MITTEN) by UllyB May 1st 2021/ver 1.0 **************************************** The Yak-130 combat trainer was selected as the winner of the trainer competition of the Voyenno Vozdushnyye Sily, Russian Federation Air Force, in April 2002. The aircraft is also actively marketed for export by Yakovlev, the Irkut company, and by Rosoboronexport. The Yak-130 combat trainer was selected as the winner of the trainer competition of the Voyenno Vozdushnyye Sily, Russian Federation Air Force, in April 2002. The aircraft is also actively marketed for export by Yakovlev, the Irkut company, and by Rosoboronexport. The Russian Air Force has a future requirement for 300 Yak-130 aircraft that can be deployed as a light strike aircraft or as a trainer for a range of fourth or fifth-generation fighters. An order was placed for the first 12 aircraft to replace ageing Aero Vodochody L-39 Albatros in 2002. The aircraft entered service in the Russian Federation Air Force at the military pilot training academy in Krasnodar in July 2009 and was showcased in the MAKS 2009 air show. The production line for the aircraft at the Aviation Plant Sokol in Nizhny Novgorod, known as NAZ Sokol, is fully operational and the roll out of the first production series aircraft took place in May 2003. A series of flight tests of the serial production aircraft was started in April 2004. The Russian Air Force ordered official testing in May 2005. The full trials of the advanced combat trainer, including spin and combat tactics trials, were completed in December 2009 prior to delivery of the first two production aircraft to the Russian Air Force. The first Yak-130 ordered by the Russian Air Force completed its flight acceptance test at Sokol in August 2009. The Russian Air Force received the first four of 12 Yak-130s between February 2010 and April 2010. Another five aircraft were delivered in April 2011. In December 2011, the Russian Ministry of Defence placed an order with Irkut for the delivery of 55 Yak-130 combat trainers by 2015. The first batch of six aircraft was delivered to the Russian Air Force in October 2012. The second batch of three Yak-130s was delivered in November 2012. The aircraft deliveries were completed in early 2015. The Russian Air Force commenced pilot training operations of the new Yak-130 combat aircraft in April 2013, however a Yak-130 plane crashed near Akhtubinsk in the Astrakhan region in April 2014. The aircraft performed a flight with advanced digital avionics suite developed by KRET in June 2014. *********************************************** Finally the bird is here! I confess that I did all that I could and depended on me for that aircraft to be a winner. I couldn't have done that without the help of my chosen team and some other good guys from CombatAce who helped also to the big push. I also included a custom setting version of the plane as I let you all know from the aircraft thread.Essentially the same plane with some custom decals, custom adjusted paintjobs, DDS/DXT3 aircraft holes textures, aircraft texture tweak (engine exhauster fake mesh) and an Insky Team cockpit (edited to have characters in Russian rather than Chinese).I also included a set of some stock white Arab serial numbers for the Syrian paintjob. Aircraft general features: - canopy animation (SHIFT+0) - aircraft workable slimmers (CTR+L) - two different fueltanks models (see aircraft texture folders) depending on the chosen aircraft skin. - custom fueltank to match the default aircraft texture colors/paintjob. - YAK-130 gundpod model special crafted for this edition - bump maps (normal maps) - Custom modified entries on aircraft wing to match ECM symetrical pods models (TALISMAN). - some modified textures for the cockpit to match Russians language. - regular aircraft night lights. - a suitable weapons collection hand picked by me for this very plane. - constructor logo special decals - special Russian Airforce decals - original paintjobs, including the factory prototype one. - superb/realistic pilot models - engine smoke/vapors realistic effect - custom made engine intake decals - special/bonus BELARUS paintjob custom made for the launching aircraft event. - Data.ini (engine section) /optional entries for an afterburner version. - Two cockpit models available, one for the custom edition, one for the 1.0 regular version. CROTALE mod by GKABS 1) Historical background The Development of the Crotale Surface-to-Air Missile system began in 1964. The Crotale is a very short range SAM system (Sol-Air à Très Courte Portée or SATCP). It was said that South Africa paid 85% (France: 15%) of the first step development costs of this SAM System. The Crotale was named "Cactus" for South Africa. Thomson-CSF for the radar and the electronics, and Matra (Engine division) for the R440 missile were the two prime contractors. South Africa received the first systems in 1971. In 1971 France placed the first order for operational tests: 1 Acquisition Unit and 2 Firing Units. The Armée de l'Air bought this SAM system in order to protect their airfields. The Crotale in this first opérational version (Crotale 1000) was above all engaged for the Egypt-Libya and Angola wars in the 1980s. Further developments were launched for several customers among the 15 ones which ordered this system. 2) Installation in your Strike Fighters 2 installation(s) There are 2 options : - The "Sand" version in order to put in any "Desert" type SF2 install, - The "Green" version for any "European" type SF2 install. So you'll find them into 2 separated packs ready to play :) If you need any further help please read the Knowledge Base at: https://combatace.com/forums/forum/268-thirdwire-strike-fighters-2-series-knowledge-base/ 3) Credits - Coupi for suggesting the model, document, creating the data files, and testing. Sukhoi Su-25T Tankovy & Sukhoi Su-25SM Frogfoot for SF2 The Su-25T (Tankovy) is a dedicated antitank version, which has been combat-tested with notable success in Chechnya. The design of the aircraft is similar to the Su-25UB ( unification of 85%). The variant was converted to one-seater, with the rear seat replaced by additional avionics. It has all-weather and night attack capability. In addition to the full arsenal of weapons of the standard Su-25, the Su-25T can employ the KAB-500Kr TV-guided bomb, KH-58 ARM, R-73, MPS-410 ECM Pod and the semi-active laser-guided Kh-25ML. Its enlarged nosecone houses the Shkval optical TV and aiming system with the Prichal laser rangefinder and target designator. It can also carry Vikhr laser-guided, tube-launched missiles, which is its main antitank armament. For night operations, the low-light TV Merkuriy pod system can be carried under the fuselage. Three Su-25Ts prototypes were built in 1983–86 and 8 production aircraft were built in 1990. With the introduction of a definitive Russian Air Force Su-25 upgrade programme, in the form of Stroyevoy Modernizirovannyi, the Su-25T programme was officially canceled in 2000. The Su-25SM (Stroyevoy Modernizirovannyi) is an "affordable" upgrade programme for the Su-25, conceived by the Russian Air Force in 2000. The programme stems from the attempted Su-25T and Su-25TM (aka Su-39) upgrades, which were evaluated and labelled as over-sophisticated and expensive. The SM upgrade incorporates avionics enhancements and airframe refurbishment to extend the Frogfoot's service life by up to 500 flight hours or 5 years. The Su-25SM's all-new PRnK-25SM "Bars" navigation/attack suite is built around the BTsVM-90 digital computer system, originally planned for the Su-25TM upgrade programme. Navigation and attack precision provided by the new suite is three times better of the baseline Su-25. A new KA1-1-01 Head-Up Display (HUD) was added providing, among other things, double the field of view of the original ASP-17BTs-8 electro-optical sight. Other systems and components incorporated during the upgrade include a Multi-Function Display (MFD), RSBN-85 Short Range Aid to Navigation (SHORAN), ARK-35-1 Automatic Direction Finder (ADF), A-737-01 GPS/GLONASS Receiver, Karat-B-25 Flight Data Recorder (FDR), Berkut-1 Video Recording System (VRS), Banker-2 UHF/VHF communication radio, SO-96 Transponder and a L150 "Pastel" RWR. The R-95Sh engines have been overhauled and modified with an anti-surge system installed. The system is designed to improve the resistance of the engine to ingested powders and gases during gun and rocket salvo firing. The combination of reconditioned and new equipment, with increased automation and self-test capability has allowed for a reduction of pre- and post-flight maintenance by some 25 to 30%. Overall weight savings are around 300 kg (660 lb). Su-25SM weapon suite has been expanded with the addition of the Vympel R-73 highly agile air-to-air missile (without helmet mounted cuing) and the S-13T 130 mm rockets (carried in five-round B-13 pods). Further, the Kh-25ML and Kh-29L Weapon Employment Profiles have been significantly improved, permitting some complex missile launch scenarios to be executed, such as: firing two consecutive missiles on two different targets in a single attack pass. The GSh-30-2 cannon (250-round magazine) has received three new reduced rate-of-fire modes: 750, 375 and 188 Rounds per Minute. Like the Su-25T it can carry the MPS-410 ECM Pod. The eventual procurement programme is expected to include between 100 and 130 kits, covering 60 to 70 percent of the Russian Air Force active single-seat fleet, as operated in the early 2000s. The Su-25SM has been operating over Syria in 2015. Special note on the Vikhr rocket launcher tubes: TLR/ ATR weapons rack can only carry a maximum of 6 LGR missiles but the Vikhr rocket launcher for the Su-25T carries 8. As a work around there are two 8 tube ATR launchers that are different 'rack specific' weapon stations but have the exact same position. One of the launchers holds 6 LGR the other holds just 2. The missiles are positioned on the ATR racks so the one that holds 2 fills in the empty tubes of the ATR that holds 6. The Loadout.ini will loads both racks correctly but it is not possible to manually load them and get 8 rockets in the tubes, you will only get 6 if you do it manually. To install: Drop into your Mods folder Included in the ‘optional’ folder is a modified NATO Fighters 5 1986 Red Storm (WP) Campaign to include the Su-25T. It will show up an extra campaign named “861019 Red Storm (WP) Su-25T” and will not affect any of the other NATO Fighters campaigns. The two ships in the class may be described as an hybrid between a Frigate and military transport ship with multi role capabilities, with the capacity for being transformed from a combat ship with the firepower of a traditional frigate to a hospital ship within a day The class is based on a frigate-like design, but built with an internal multipurpose deck (flex deck) and a stern vehicle ramp. The ships can serve as command platforms for a staff of 75 persons (naval or joint staff) with a containerized command and control centre, transport and base of operations for a company-sized landing force of some 200 men with vehicles. Alternatively, the flex deck can be used for mine-laying operations with a capacity of some 300 mines, or be fitted out for mine-clearing operations and launch and recover mine detecting and clearing equipment via a retractable gantry crane, adjacent to the stern vehicle ramp, which also is used for launching and recovering the fast landing craft. Furthermore the flex deck can support a containerized hospital or simply transport a number of ISO standard containers or some 55 vehicles including, up to 7 MBTs. The ships can carry two LCPs (Storebro SB90E), two rigid hull inflatable boats and two EH101 helicopters. The standard weapons of the Absalon class can be supplemented through the use of StanFlex mission modules. A special weapons deck (nicknamed the 'Bathtub') is designed with five StanFlex module slots.[7] Because of the Bathtub's position, only missile-firing weapons modules can be installed Both ship have seen action in counter-piracy operations in the Horn of Africa, as part of the international effort to fight the piracy in the region, one of the most active maritime routes of the world. Notes. This version includes a new sound for the Millenium CIWS, so you need to add this lines in the SOUNDLIST.INI file, located in the Flight folder Under the [soundList] section add SoundFileXXX=35mmOerlikon where XXX is the next number in your list. Go to the botton of the file and add these lines at the end. The Command and Air Defense Frigate DeZeven Provincien area series of 4 ships build in the Netherlands to provide the Royal Netherlands Navy with a modern Air defense ship. Its armed with the RIM-66 Missile (32 Missiles in MK-41 VLS ) controlled by a Thales Netherlands (former SIGNAAL) APAR radar. also it has one (provision for two) Goalkeeper CIWS, HMGs and provision for 32 ESSM missiles ( 8 quad vls launchers). She have been in service since 2002, and recently were deployed in the Counter Piracy operations in the Gulf of Aden and Horn of Africa. This model was made possible thanks to the help of my friend WhiteBoySamurai, who edited and improve my original 3d model, made textures, edit and correct ini files and put everything in order to release. Without his help this project will be still in the dry dock. Again any critics or constructive critics will be welcomed. Enjoy it Credits: Model: WhiteBoySamurai, angelp Skins and textures: WhiteBoySamurai Ini files: WhiteBoySamurai, angelp Decals: angelp Weapons; WhiteBoySamurai
