    1. Fw-190 Cockpit Repaint for Torno's FW190's

Here is a (decidedly average) repaint of Torno's FW-190 cockpit for use in his excellent range of Fw-190's. I made it for my personal use but maybe the five of us (me, Kev and other kindred spirits) who still use SF2 to sim WW2 can get some use out of it.
Made for SF2, it's the needed jpg's ONLY.
Which 190 is it? Well, I started with the A as a basis but you can use it in any of Torno's beautiful Wurgers. The one here is the one featuring "moar gunz" - of course.
Not 100% accurate, there's always compromises that have to be made, but it is what it is.
      INSTALLATION:
Copy and paste the jpg's from this file into your 190 (of whatever flavor) cockpit folder. Back up the corresponding original files in case you want to revert.
      That's it.
      CREDITS:
       - TORNO for the great range of Fw-190's. Excellent work amigo. Torno's work is for CombatAce ONLY, these are NOT to appear elsewhere.
       - CombatAce for being a bastion of Strike Fighters for these many. many years.
       - TK for creating SFP1 and SF2 for all of us to enjoy.

    2. SF2 IAI Saar (EG) Pack

SF2 IAI Saar (EG) Pack       6/14/2024
      -For SF2, Any and All- (Full 5 Merged Suggested -SF2E &/or SF2I  )
      -Another 1stGen Salvage Operation-
This is a rebuild of EricGen's 1stGen Dassault/IAI Super Mystere 'Saar', as used by the Israeli Air Force and Honduran Air Force from the 1970s through the 1990s.
This mod is set up and labeled to cause NO conflicts with the Super Mystere Saar available from within the game (Third Wire) or any mods of the stock bird that may exist.  Skins remain in their original bmp format. Most markings are decals, with the exception of the orange colored ID bands on one of the IDF skins. Decal Randomization is TRUE.  All necessary items are provided, decals, weapons, pilots, sounds, and so forth. Some you've probably got already. If I missed any, PLEASE let me know and I'll get it fixed.
The canopy operates with the Standard Animations Keystroke (tm), Shift/0 (zero). The cockpit provided is one of Stary's superb works, and can also be used on the stock 3W version of the Saar (as for some reason, "out of the box" it's not player flyable).
The aircraft is supplied with a number skins for the varying Air Forces:
      Israel:
      No.105 Sqdn "The Scorpion" (3-tone)
      No.105 Sqdn (3-tone w/ID trangles <10/73)
      Honduras:
IDF 3-tone (as delivered in 1976)
      Camo 2, Late (2-tone greys <1985)
As indicated above, you can see the the SF2 "date switch" is active.
When in-game, on the Aircraft Selection Drop down you'll see:
      Saar (EG)
So you can't mistake it for anything other than what it is. This will also differentialize THIS one from the 3W Super Mystere Saar that's stock in game. The "EG" of course, is for EricGen.
As always fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. All original readmes, when discoverable, are included. The 'Change Log' is, of course, in the Notes section below.

    3. Mirage F1EE (1992-2000)

      Mirage F1EE (1992-2000)
In June 1975, with tension growing with Morocco, Spain decided to strengthen its Air Force and bought 15 Mirage F1C that were allocated to Albacete AB. In mid-1976 there was still some tension with Morocco and Algerian and Libyan MiG-25 flights on the Mediterranean, which would lead the Spanish Air Force to purchase ten more Mirage F1C and two years later order 48 Mirage F1C and F1E.
      F1EE_Late specifics:
      Same as EE_Early plus:
extra AIM-9 on P2 stations (to be accurate, not sure all aircraft had the modification, maybe just experimental on one) Seat Mk6 Cockpit layout modified (provision for future ALR-300 on left side) Covered units :
      Ala 14.
This addon is and will in all cases remain freeware.
      Released under CombatAce Fair-Use terms.
      Enjoy

      SF2 Super Mystere B.2 (EG) Pack       6/7/2024
      -For SF2, Any and All-(Full 5 Merged Suggested )
      -Another 1stGen Salvage Operation-
This is a rebuild of EricGen's 1stGen Dassault Super Mystere B.2, as used by the French and Israeli Air forces from the 1950s through the 1970s.
This mod is set up and labeled to cause NO conflicts with the Mystere IVA  available from within the game (Third Wire) or any mods of the stock bird that may exist.  Skins remain in their original bmp format. Most markings are decals, with the exception of the fuselage color bands on some of the NMF skins.
The cockpit provided is one of Stary's superb works, and can also be used on the stock 3W version (as for some reason, "out of the box" it's not player flyable).

      EC 1/10 Valois (1958-1974)
EC 2/5 Ile de France (1961-66)
      EC 2/10 Seine (1958-1968)
      EC 2/12 Cornouailles (<1959)
      Israel:
No.105 Sqdn "The Scorpion" (NMF 1958)
      No.105 Sqdn (Blue/Brown Camo <62)
      No.105 Sqdn (3-tone <69)
As indicated above, you can see the the SF2 "date switch" is active.
When in-game, on the Aircraft Selection Drop down you'll see:
      Super Mystere B2 (EG)
So you can't mistake it for anything other than what it is. This will also differentialize THIS one from the 3W Super Mystere that's stock in game. This includes NOT conflicting with the superb skin/ini pack that PauloPanz did some years back (reccomended!!!!).
As always fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. All original readmes, when discoverable, are included; several are actually in their respective skin folders. The 'Change Log' is, of course, in the Notes section below.

    6. SF2 Mystere 4A (AJ) Pack

      SF2 Mystere 4A (AJ) Pack       5/31/2024
      -For SF2, Any and All-(Full 5 Merged Suggested )
      -Another 1stGen Salvage Operation-
This is a rebuild of Ajundair's 1st Gen Dassault Mystere IVA, as used by the French, Israeli and Indian Air forces from the 1950s through the 1970s. As this mod references a stock cockpit, SF2:I and/or SF2:E are REQUIRED (or a full 5 Merged, of course!).
Decal Randomization is TRUE.  All necessary items are provided, decals, weapons, pilots, sounds, and so forth. Some you've probably got already. If I missed any, PLEASE let me know and I'll get it fixed.
The canopy operates with the Standard Animations Keystroke (tm), Shift/0 (zero)
The aircraft is supplied with a number skins for the varying Air Forces:
      France:
      EC 1/5 Vendee (<1955)
EC 2/8 Languedoc (61-82) - both in NMF
      Israel:
No.101 Sqnd "First Fighter" (<1955 NMF)
No.101 Sqdn "First Fighter" (NMF, w/Red Stripe <58)
      No.116 Sqdn "Flying Wing" (Blue/Brown Camo <61)
      No.116 Sqdn "Flying Wing" (3-tone <69)
      India:
      "Indian Silver" (standard NMF <1957)
As indicated, the SF2 "date switch" is active. The IDF/AF 2-tone is a brand new skin, as it had never been created for the original release (2004-ish) The IDF/AF 3-tone late camo is a "rebuilt" skin, as the original had the wrong colors. All other skins have had a least some minor repainting. The Indian AF skin does =NOT= break the serials down into their respective squadrons, nor are there any squadron 'nose art' badges. Consider them generic in nature, although the serials are ALL historically correct.
When in-game, on the Aircraft Selection Drop down you'll see:
      Mystere IVA (AJ)
So you can't mistake it for anything other than what it is. This will also diferentiate THIS one from the 3W Mysetere IVA that's stock in game. This includes NOT conflicting with the superb skin/ini pack that PauloPanz did some year back (reccomended!!!!). As stated above, this mod makes use of the STOCK 3rd Wire cockpit from it's MyIVA, but I've left in the originial F-86 cockpit (with some mods) and it's inis from 2004. It's also been updated to add any missing bits.
The template I made is also included. It's "medium rez", in 1024x. Make of it what you will.
As always fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. All original readmes, when discoverable, are included. The 'Change Log' is, of course, in the Notes section below.

    7. Sabre Dogs - Kongelige Danske Flyvevåbnet

Royal Danish Air Force F-86D Sabre Dog
Basic modding skills are required to run this mod.  (copy/paste, mod folder structure, etc.)
      Install:
Copy and paste specific folders into the correct destination.
A fake pilot mod is required.
The mod requires new fuel tanks that are added to the mod

In the game under a prefix. KDF. * you will find F-86D Sabre Dog
      * Kongelige Danske Flyvevåbnet

      A brand new model,
All skins are in 4096x /3072x format based on new templates. You can easily resize as needed.
All serial numbers are historically correct for specific squadrons/years of service in the Danish Air Force.
Check weapon names in loadout.ini and sounds to match your files.
This model along with previous F-86D mods uses a rocket gun tray, not the best solution, but unguided rockets perhaps would not be better - but if you have a way to make it work, please share knowledge.
There is an additional "weapon" - tacan antenna so that it can appear on airframes after 1960. It is not a weapon, nor does anything, just a 'feature'

      Credits.
      Model, mambo jumbo-like skins, decals - yakarov79
The model is based more or less on Zur's 86H which was provided by Wrench.

    8. SF2 TMF Mirage 5F Pack

      SF2 TMF Mirage 5F Pack       5/22/2024
      Updated 5/24/24, v2.0
-For SF2, Any and All-(Full 5 Merged Suggested)
This is a NEW aircraft, based on an pre-existing TMF aircraft LOD, used to (re)create the Mirage 5F fighter-bomber as used by the French Air Force. To let you all know, no "official" 5F was ever created and relased by TMF. So, consider this an "un-official" version <gr>!
This mod is set up and labeled to cause NO conflicts with the Mirage 5F available from within the game (Third Wire) or any others that may exist.  Skins remain in their original bmp format. Most markings are decals, with the exception of the AdA Rudder tri-color bands on the NMF skin. Decal Randomization is TRUE.  All necessary items are provided, serial number decals, weapons, pilots, seats, sounds, effects, and so forth. Some, you've probably got already. If I missed any, PLEASE let me know and I'll get it fixed. The canopy operates with the Standard Animations Keystroke (tm), Shift/0 (zero)
The aircraft is supplied with 2 skins for EC 3/13 Auvergne:
      NMF (start date=1)
      Euro Camo (<1975)
As indicated, the SF2 "date switch" is active.
When in-game, on the Aircraft Selection Drop down you'll see:
      Mirage 5F (TMF)
So you can't mistake it for anything other than TMF Birds (tm). This will also diferentiate THIS one from the 3W 5F that's stock in game, but is AI only. On that note, the supplied cockpit (by BPAO & Crusader) was originally designed for use with the 3W AI Mirage 5F in 2017. For those wishing to do so, I've supplied the needed inis, and the instructional read-me. They are in a folder within the main aircraft folder. Ya can't miss it! <gr>.
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. All original readmes, when discoverable, are included. The 'Change Log' is, as always, in the Notes section below.
      Good Hunting & Happy Landings!

    9. Wings Over World Menu Screens

      Wings Over World Menu Screens
      January 13th, 2019 (1st Release)
      by Menrva

      >For Strike Fighters 2 games
This package is my personal conversion of the beautiful Strike Fighters: Project One menu screens, with a number of enhancements for use in Strike Fighters 2. The main menu screen is a reworked version of the NACA Main Screen released by Camouflage (Checksix-fr.com). The title I chose for the main menu screen is "Strike Fighters: Wings Over World", in honor of the old WOE/WOV/WOI series of SF1 games. I find this name suitable for those who have a large mod folder spanning different world scenarios.
Here below a quick summary of enhancements and additions:
-All the music tracks from the SF games have been included; now there's a unique track for each screen.
-Hangar Screen has got the hangar noise sounds which were present in the SF1 games.
-Option to turn Lens Flare off as in the SF1 games is back.
-Opportunity to change pilot at the Campaign Screen is reintroduced, as in the SF1 games.
-Briefing Screen has been reintroduced for eye-candy (it has a small string "bug" with certain missions, since ThirdWire's removal of the FAC mission type).
-Added generic _briefing.ini files for all the stock SF2 terrains (terrains without a _briefing.ini file might cause CTDs when accessing the Briefing Screen).
-Added Launch/Fly button in the Briefing, Loadout, Flight Roster and Planning Map screens.
-Added the missing PILOTPIC25 bitmap which is available in the SF1 games.
-Loading Screen shows a generic runway and a new, longer loading sound is used.
-Mission Editor DLC is supported with a new screen in the same style of the other screens.
-Campaign Customizer DLC is supported with a new screen in the same style of the other screens.
-Disabled unnecessary functions of the the System Menu, such as accessing ThirdWire's online site for viewing the game manual.
As a bonus, the package includes 42 single missions taking place across all theatres of the SF2 series; most of them have been made by ThirdWire and released in their SF1 games. Five single missions are Instant Action scenarios of Strike Fighters 2, which I converted to be choosable and playable in the Single Missions Screen. Additional missions include historical scenarios created by guyran for the Israel theater. I renamed all single missions to use a nicer naming convention. Needless to say, all SF2 titles must be installed to be able to play all the missions.
In addition, I have tweaked some Flight folder files to improve the realism of the game's HUD and in-game map. Since users may not like such changes, those files are not included by default, they must be installed manually. They can be found inside the "(Additional Tweaks)" folder. Here below a quick summary of changes they bring:
-Disabled all the unuseful Labels when viewing the in-game map.
-Disabled the arcade cones; lock your target and press F4 to visually track it.
-Tweaked icons' colours so that they match the text's colours.
-The in-game text background is less noticeable.
-Text's font is now different, it is generally smaller and less obtrusive.
-No more red and blue arcade squares when locking objects on; a faint yellow square is now used.
-The white triangle showing the next waypoint is now a faint yellow, unlike the default strong white.
-Disabled the radar box display; check the radar of your plane's cockpit, instead.

      >Credits (in no particular order):
-ThirdWire, for the fantastic menu screens which are included in the stock SFP1 game.
-kout, for the System Menu icon I have taken from his SF1 Grey Main Menu Replacement mod.
-Camouflage, for the NACA Main Screen (still available at the archives of Checksix-fr.com), which I have reworked.
-HomeFries, for the planning map enhancements available in his Semi-Transparent Map Icons package.
-Viper63a, for the Loading sound, which I got from one of his menu mods.
-paulopanz, for collecting and updating guyran's WOI custom missions properly to SF2 standards.
-guyran, for the original custom missions he created for Wings Over Israel.
-KJakker, for his interest and welcome support.

      >Disclaimer:
This is a freeware; yet it can be redistributed ONLY in other CombatACE mods/mod packages.
Any changes to the package's files and/or any copy-and-paste attempts of their contents are NOT authorized if you plan to release them in other mods. But permission might be granted to those who request it to me at CombatACE.
This mod may NOT in any way, shape or form be used in any payware additions.

    10. Indo-Pak mod Mystere IVA Indian Air Force Skin Pack

Indo-Pak mod Mystere IVA Indian Air Force Skin Pack

A Skin pack that is basically meant to update the stock Wrench's Thirdwire Dassault Mystere IVA(Indian AF) that is a part of the Indo-Pak mod aircraft package.

The package has been tested on a merged Indo-Pak SF2 install( SF2/SF2E/SF2V/SF2V/SF2I/Exp pack1 & 2/SF2NA updated upto July 2012 patch) . It does not contain any cockpit or lod files and uses stock Mystere IVA a/c and cockpit model. All skin textures are in jpeg format.

It *may* not work properly if your install does not satisfy the above requirements

Package contains serial number decals(all 110 IAF Mystere IVA airframes), skins and markings for all Indian AF Mystere IVA squadrons that took part in the 1965 Indo-Pak war( No. 1 "Tigers" , No. 3 "Cobras" , No. 8 'Pursoots" , No. 31 "Lions" and No. 32 "Thunderbirds")

      Installation
Warning : This is meant strictly for the Indo-Pak mod on a full SF2 merged install and it will overwrite the MystereIVa.ini file. I will not be reposible if you chose to install it over a generic install and it messes up your ini files.Should you choose to install it a non-Indo-Pak install, do so at your own risk.

Drop the contents of the file(Aircraft & Decals folders) in your X:\Users\YYYY\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2\Objects folder and let it overwrite (assuming yours is a Indo-Pak mod install).

      Credits :
      Thirdwire- for the MystereIVA model
Indo-Pak mod team - For the Indo-Pak mod
Wrench, the ini master, for the Indian AF MystereIVA mod and gigantic efforts in putting together the Indo-Pak mod & aircraft.

This skin pack is meant to be a thank you the Indo-Pak team and a tribute to the intrepid Indian Air Force Mystere IVA pilots who lead Indian Air Force's day time strikes during the 1965 war, , who inspite of being at a disadvantage against agile PAF Sabres and faster F-104s, held their own.

    15. SF2 TMF Mirage3C EC 3/10 Vexin Skin Pack

      SF2 TMF Mirage3C EC 3/10 Vexin Skin Pack       5/21/2024
      -For SF2, Any and All-
This here is a "new" skin for The Mirage Factory's Mirage IIIC, representing EC 3/10 Vexin in 2-tone desert camoflague, as they appeared during the Chad/Libyan war, based in Djbouti. EC 3/10 was the last unit in the AdA to use the Mirage III. I've given it a start date of 1984, so the 'SF2 Date Switch' will turn it on then.
You can find the TMF Mirage IIIC at the following url:
      https://combatace.com/files/file/18208-sf2-tmf-mirage-iiic-ada-upgraderemod-pack/
Reminder: this is for the IIIC =ONLY!!!=, NOT the IIICi!!
Almost all marking are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. The skin remains in it's original bmp format. A skin specific Hangar screen was created just for this mod. Also included, are updated Data and loadout inis, containing Crusader's animation fix for the intake shock cones, and a small weapons twerk. I'd suggest backing up your originals, as a "CYA" measure.
When 'in game', on the Loadout screen, unit selection drop down, you'll see:
      EC 3/10 Vexin (<1984 Desert)
Although, wherever your flying it WILL turn on automaticlly.
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. All original readmes, when discoverable, are included.
      Happy Landings!

    16. Super Mystere Sa'ar, Fuerza Aérea Hondureña (Honduran Air Force)

Super Mystere Sa'ar, Fuerza Aérea Hondureña (Honduran Air Force)
      -- For SF2, Full-4 Merged (Prefered) and/or any combination -WITH- SF2:I --

This mod =REQUIRES= a Full-4 Merged install, or at the very least, SF2:I for the various and sundry bits used herein (to, wit, the Mystere IVA cockpit from SF2:I). If you do NOT have the minimum required game installs, DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS MOD, as you won't be able to use it.

This is a mod of the SF2:I Super Mystere Sa'ar into those as used by the Honduran Air Force. This depicts the aircraft as originally delivered to the FAH in 1976, still wearing the 3-tone IDF desert camo.

As the Sa'ar is not player flyable "out of the box", this pak will make it so, using the Mystere IVA cockpit (also from SF2I -hence, it's requirement!!). This package can be used in one of 2 ways:

      1) As an add-on skin for the Sa'ar (with the included, adjusted userlist ini) or

      2) As a stand-alone, nationalized aircraft.

All the various inis, skin and decals are provided for either choice. Instructions are in the "To Install" section. 100% historicaly correct FAH serial number decals are included.
The canopy has been activated; use Shift/0 to open and close.

As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs, to make it a LOT easier to install (read: drag and drop).

      Have fun with it!

    17. F-19 Stealth Fighter

      F-19 Stealth Fighter
      September 13th, 2022 (1st Release)
      by Julhelm, Dels and Menrva
      >For Strike Fighters 2 games
This is a rework of Julhelm's fantastic F-19 stealth fighter 3d model, now featuring a centre strut canopy structure (thanks to a cheap trick of repainting the bubble canopy glass) and a new cockpit, a purposely modified F-117A cockpit by Dels.
Among the improvements, it now features proper hit boxes and collision points, proper location for position lights and landing gear lights, reworked skins, aircraft characteristics and loadouts meant to resemble the ones of Microprose's F-19 Stealth Fighter game.
It still features two internal weapon bays (unlike Microprose's exaggerated four bays), but with properly reworked limits; you can have 4x Sidewinders or 3x AMRAAMs per bay, 2x bombs or AGMs depending on their overall weight and size. A 20mm cannon is on the nose with 680 rounds, and an extra 1,900 lbs fuel cell has been added for a total of 11,800 lbs of fuel; non-afterburning engines are used for stealth reasons. An (invisible) arrester hook has been added as well, since Microprose's version could also operate from aircraft carriers.
Skins feature the 83-019 serial number and an F letter on the vertical tails; these two details come from a picture of a menu screen in one of the releases of Microprose's F-19 Stealth Fighter game, where you could choose between an F-19 or an F-117A. More serial numbers couldn't be featured as the 3d model of the aircraft does not support decals without decal bleeding issues. Just imagine piloting the only example of F-19 in very black operations!
Three new skins were created: a Prototype Black skin created from the specular texture Julhelm had made, and Desert and Arctic camo skins made by modifying the USAF Euro camo skin created by kblomkvist.
NOTE: Strike Fighters 2 has no proper IRST functionality, so for the purpose of launching AMRAAMs a very basic ACM radar mode has been added to the avionics file of the aircraft. Moreover, the default cockpit features an obtrusive front strut which makes the cannon difficult to use. You can activate an alternative cockpit LOD in the relative INI file.
      >What-if Backstory
During the development of the Have Blue demonstrators, Lockheed's Skunk Works division also conceived a third experimental stealth aircraft featuring an entirely different shape, rounded fuselage and wings, and meant to have air combat capabilities. The CIA got wind of it, classifying it at the highest possible level and using it as a cover-up story for the stealth aircraft that came to be the F-117A Nighthawk. In 1986, the Testor Corporation released a plastic model aircraft kit, calling it the "F-19 Stealth Fighter". Jane's All the World's Aircraft 1987-88 book listed an RF-19 as a Lockheed development project. The conceptual drawings of it were generally similar to Testor's design. In 1988 a combat flight simulator game, F-19 Stealth Fighter by Microprose, was released just moments before the public unveiling of the F-117A Nighthawk attack aircraft, which is said to be what it sought to represent. The reality is that a single F-19 existed and, during secret flights over Groom Lake, this experimental aircraft showed unique strength and was deemed a super-aircraft. Due to its funding and mantaining costs, the project was officially abandoned in 1983. Unofficially, this single example of F-19 took part in black operations all over the world until 1997. It is named F-19A Nightowl, internally nicknamed "Flying Frisbee" for its rounded shape and also referred to as "Ghostrider" for allegedly being affiliated with the 416th TFS Ghost Riders flying the F-117A Nighthawk.
"The view would have been frightening to most men, there were solid clouds overhead at 4000 feet. He flew through the showers, he more heard than saw on this black night and the dark outlines of the trees appeared to reach up and snatch at his speeding fighter. Only a madman would be so low on such a night. 'So much the better' he smiled in his oxygen mask" - Tom Clancy's Red Storm Rising

      by Menrva

      >For Strike Fighters 2 games
This is an extra skin pack for the high quality F-22A Raptor aircraft add-on. Most skins are based on ideas and depictions from other videogames. Here below a list of the included ones:
-YF-22 Paint Scheme (inspired by the real YF-22 prototype)
-Sea Raptor Livery (inspired by the F-22N Sea Raptor concept)
-Saudi Grey Camouflage (as depicted in Digital Image Design's F-22 Total Air War)
-Egyptian Woodland Camouflage (as depicted in Digital Image Design's F-22 Total Air War)

-Desert Lightning Camouflage (as depicted in NovaLogic's F-22 Lightning 3)
-Phoenix Livery (from Namco Hometek's Air Combat, as depicted in Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown)
-Phoenix Livery, Dark (as depicted in Project Aces' Ace Combat Infinity)
-Scarface One Livery (as depicted in Namco Hometek's Ace Combat 2)
-Z.O.E., Red Livery (from Namco Hometek's Ace Combat 2, as depicted in Project Aces' Ace Combat Infinity)

-Warwolf Livery (as depicted in Project Aces' Ace Combat: Assault Horizon)
-Mobius One, IUN Livery (as depicted in Project Aces' Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown)
-Trigger Livery (as depicted in Project Aces' Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown)
-JASDF 2-Tone Blue Camouflage (as depicted in Project Aces' Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown)
As a bonus, different aircraft configuration files are included in the "(Alternative Data)" folder. You'll be able to choose between realistic loadouts (default configuration of the aircraft add-on package) and what-if loadouts inspired by the mentioned F-22 videogames of the late 90s, namely weapons included in F-22 Lightning 3. Both configurations are also available with the addition of invisible skids; those will allow you to perform belly landings, which are a feature of good old F-22 Total Air War.
      Notes:
-The B61 tactical nuclear bomb is a retarded version, but drop it safely from high altitude at high speed. Take note that it does not damage the stock Runway object, due to the armor values of it. The B61 is meant to be used against naval fleets you may encounter on some custom terrains.
-You need to tweak the SoundList.ini file in order to fully experience any new sounds. Read "(Add to SoundList)" for further details, and remember to extract the SoundList.ini file from the FlightData.cat archive, if you do not have a custom one in your mod folder already.

      >Credits (in no particular order):
-yakarov79, for his high quality templates which allowed me to easily put some new paint on the aircraft.
-ravenclaw_007, for sharing some of his latest weapon 3d models for the bonus what-if loadouts.
-Astore, for providing me with better Ace Combat themed emblems, and for being one of the few Italian Ace Combat fans like me.
-godrugalultimate, from DeviantArt, for making incredibly detailed Ace Combat themed decals.
-RythusOmega, for providing all Ace Combat 7 emblems and whose skins have been used as reference for the Phoenix liveries.
-Lanzerince, whose Ace Combat 7 skins have been used as reference for the Scarface livery.
-mue, for his LOD Viewer which helped immensely in the making of the skins.
-Blade, for sharing info about the purpose of the game's decal levels.

    19. F-22A Raptor Add-on

      F-22A Raptor Add-on
      October 13th, 2021 (1st Release)
by yakarov79, baffmeister, Crusader, guuruu and Menrva

      >For Strike Fighters 2 games
This is a high quality add-on of the F-22A Raptor aircraft. The original model had been made by Heberth, and it was released in alpha stage.
Upon noticing room for improvement, yakarov79 helped finalize the 3d model with numerous, additional details; accurate pylons and rail launchers, new external fuel tanks, highly detailed rack and small diameter bomb 3d models, canopy and thrust-vectoring animations, high-res skin with specular and bump maps, updated cockpit model, and so on.
A realistic, well-thought flight model has been produced by our expert, baffmeister. Moreover, Crusader offered his great expertise to improve upon his previous modification for the Raptor's avionics. All their efforts have raised the quality bar of the project I had started; much credits to them all.
I further polished the package by adding historically accurate weapon loadouts, my selection of sounds (including authentic engine samples by guuruu), realistic camouflage shapes and colours, reworked decals for the actual USAF's F-22A squadrons, new cockpit textures and other tweaks here and there. Each squadron has got historically correct serial numbers, and they appear in chronological order in the loadout screen; the serial numbers at the bottom of the list are those of aircraft that joined that squadron for last, while the serials at the beginning of the list indicate those aircraft that were available to that squadron for first.
Like you would expect in an opera omnia, I even reproduced three unique paint schemes of real Raptors; the air superiority camouflage of the EMD 91-4001 Prototype of September 1997, the temporary "Blue Nose" decoration of the "Cripes A'Mighty" Raptor assigned to the 149th Fighter Squadron in April 2010, and a generic Mid-Production livery sporting the markings of the last Raptor ever produced that flew for the first time in March 2012.
Templates by yakarov79, tweaked by yours truly, are included for your skinning fantasies.
      Notes:
-The cockpit is not yet accurate, as various details couldn't be reworked due to RL and time constraints. We were working on a brand new cockpit with accurate HUD and displays. Slimers with correct illumination were also planned. Hopefully they will be a thing in a future re-release.
-The aircraft folder is named "F-22A", just like the one included in a number of mod packages which use an old 3d model by Dels. In order to avoid mismatches and bugs of any sort, it's highly suggested to either remove or rename the aircraft folder using Dels' Raptor 3d model.
-GPS guidance bombs (EOGB) do not work as intended in SF2, there are issues about them not locking on target and about AI behaviour. The GBU-39 has been set as an EOGR, so it works like a missile; this is a needed workaround to have them loaded properly on a rack while keeping the GPS guidance property.

-Heberth, for making this (once forgotten) fantastic 3d model.
-Julhelm, for sharing the files of his superb F-22A cockpit 3d model, allowing yakarov79 to improve upon it.
-yakarov79, for his invaluable help in finalizing the 3d model and remaking the base textures; you have my gratitude.
-baffmeister, for his excellent flight model; it's thanks to him if this beauty flies as good as it looks.
-Crusader, for reworking the avionics enhancement made for Julhelm's F-22A cockpit, and for improving the AIM missiles.
-guuruu, for sharing his RWR symbols improvement mod and for making better engine sounds.
-ravenclaw_007, for the AIM missiles from his top notch Weapons Pack 2, the GBU-32 JDAM bomb and the ACES II seat 3d models.
-viper63a, for his old F-22A USAF Raptors Redux package, from which I borrowed decals.
-simonmiller416, for his smokeless rocket effects mod.
-mue, for his LOD Viewer which helped immensely in the making of the skins.
-Cocas, for further help given to Heberth for the aircraft's 3d model.
-My girlfriend, for supporting me in all of my endeavours.
Additional ReadMe files by yakarov79 and baffmeister have been included among few others; be sure to read those to know about their work in better detail.

    25. SF2 TMF Mirage 5DE & Mirage 5SDE Upgrade/Remod Pack

      SF2 TMF Mirage 5DE & Mirage 5SDE Upgrade/Remod Pack       5/10/2024
-For SF2, Any and All-(Full 5 Merged Suggested)
This is a full upgrade/remod pack for The Mirage Factory's Mirage 5SD of the Lybian Air force, and the Mirage 5SDE as used by the Egyptian Air Force. As you can see, this mod contains 2 aircraft:
      Mirage 5DE:
      No. 1030 Sqdn, LARAF
      Mirage 5SDE:
      No.69 Sqdn (Early)
      No.69 Sqdn (<1977 w/ID Panels), EAF
This mod is set up and labeled to cause NO conflicts with the Mirage 5SD and SDE available from within the game (aka: DLC #28) or any others that may exist.  Skins remain in its original bmp format. All markings are decals. Serial number Decal Randomization is TRUE. The 5SDE for Egypt has all 54 historicaly correct serials; these change from 1000 series to 9000 series with the date change to the ID paneled skin. Best Research (tm) shows the LARAF numbers to be correct as well.  New Hangar and Loading screens are included as well. The canopies operate with the standard animation keystroke, Shift/0 (zero)
All necessary items are provided, serial number decals, weapons (drop tanks), pilots, seats, sounds, effects, and so forth.  Some, you've probably got already!!! If I missed any, PLEASE let me know and I'll get it fixed.
When in-game, on the Aircraft Selection Dropdown you'll see:
      Mirage 5SD (TMF)
      and
      Mirage 5SDE (TMF)
So you can't mistake it for anything other than TMF Birds (tm). This will also differentialize these from the 3rd Wire stock & DLC versions.
As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. All original readmes, when discoverable, are included. The 'Change Log' is, as always, in the Notes section below.
