2 pointsRepublic F-84F Thunderstreak - 69 Sqd 'The Hammers', Israeli Air Force, 1967 The Armee de l'Air received its first F-84F Thunderstreaks in 1955 and it was in French service that the Thunderstreak saw its only actual combat during the Suez Crisis of October 1956. French Thunderstreaks from the 3rd Escadre moved to RAF Akrotiri on Cyprus whilst the 1st Escadre were deployed to the Israeli base at Lyddia where they supported the Israeli forces that invaded Sinai on October 29th. Despite seeing intensive action only one F-84F was lost and the tough and rugged aircraft so impressed the Israeli Air Force that they ordered 50 F-84F-70-RE aircraft before the end of 1956. The F-84F-70-RE featured the more powerful J65-W-7 rated at 7,800lbs thrust which helped with the initial climb rate and the combat ceiling and these were among the last Thunderstreak's to roll off the Farmingdale production line in the Summer of 1957. In 1962 the entire Israeli F-84F fleet was grounded due to the same corrosion of control rods that had affected the F-84F worldwide but they were soon restored to full operational capacity, eventually serving with distinction during the 1967 Six Day War and surviving in Israeli service until 1972 when stress corrosion eventually forced the retirement of the Israeli F-84F fleet. (I did release this one in SF2 but never did a backstory)

1 pointView File E-2C VAW-115 Skin Pack These skins represent the VAW-115 squadron of the United States Navy. The serials numbers are some i could find that really were within this squadron past and present. You will get the following skins in this package : - Unindified period (TBD) - 1991 Operation Iraqi Freedom - 2000 Era skin 1 - 2000 Era skin 2 - 2010 Era - 2013 Era Same instructions as usual: Copy the E-2C aircraft folder content to your game E-2C aircraft folder. Copy the E-2C decals folder content to your game E-2C decals folder. Open the E-2C.ini and edit the file by adding the lines from the E-2C.ini in this file (replace the XXX by number in sequence). Credits: Thanks to Thirdwire for creating the Strike Fighters series. Thanks to paulopanz for providing the E-2C model. Thanks to pappychksix for providing the wonderful E-2C Hi-Rez Skins. Myself for the decals (all done by me). Happy flights! Mario C. Frenchie1977 Submitter 1977Frenchie Submitted 02/16/2018 Category Other

1 pointThe cause is that the "SeatModelName=ACES_II_F-16" listed in that data file does not exsist in the Objects\Pilots folder. Drop the attached seat into the Objects\Pilots folder and see what happens. ACES_II_F-16.7z

1 pointWhile going through WOV and other TW games I checked and double-checked all available loadouts. Sadly not one of them has a 'constant' animation. So the major Problem is, that the streamers are not part of the airplane LOD object. Animations for loadouts, as far as I've seen, can only be 'triggered' by launching them (missiles, etc.)

1 pointView File F-2H Banshee (Razbam) Updated data pack F-2 Banshee Updated data pack v1.1 This is a further update of the DATA.inis of the RAZBAM F-2 Banshee. In this updated data pack, there are changes in the data.ini, trying to achieve realistic performance specs. So changes are done in almost every aspect of the specs (weight, flightdata, engine thrust etc) for being as close to the real thing as possible. For using this pack you need to have downloaded first - the original RAZBAM Banshee (Go to RAZBAM website for more details) - the Banshee Tweeks Pak -for Razbam Banshees of Wrench https://combatace.com/files/file/14889-sf2-kaw-f2h-2-banshee-tweeks-pak-for-razbam-banshees/ https://combatace.com/files/file/15415-sf2-f2h-3-banshee-tweeks-pak-for-razbam-banshees/ https://combatace.com/files/file/15417-sf2-f2h-4-banshee-tweeks-pak-for-razbam-banshees/ Credis should go to - RAZBAM for the original release - Wrench for making this really usable in missions/campaings - Ravenclaw_007 for the AN-M30 bomb - Spillone for - at least - some of the sounds Thoughts for further upgrades - The AltitudeTableNumData & DryMachTableNumData are really very limited and are restricting realism. Please give me help to correct them. DONE - The F2H-3 (F-2C) is without wingtip tanks but in reality all the -2,-3,-4 models had the capability of carrying wingtip tanks. I am planning to substitute the LOD of the -3 with the -4 model (since these two were identical externally) but for doing so I am waiting your feedback.DONE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS - Overwrite everything above v1.0. Place the banshee f2h4.LOD (which you can purchase from the RAZBAM website) in your F-2H3 folder. What's new in v1.1 - The Destroyed Model now it's the stock F-84F one. - The F3H-3 (F-2C) now uses the F3H-4 LOD. Indeed, the -3 also used more the wing tip tanks than not, since they had a minimal effect on overall performance. - Further updated engine data. - Corrected ground clearence for the F3H-2. - Corrected loadouts. Now the wing pylon can be loaded with bombs (historical). - Small touches here & there for better overall result. Issues - The -4 used a different radar than the -3 model that had also a different radar screen with different symbology (not a successful one, as it often mentioned). However, it seems that we have the -3 style radar screen for the - 4 model too. - In some sources it's stated that the -4 had 20% more range than the -3 model. I am not convinced for that. Most likely it had to do with the need for full throttle/max power more often than the -4 model in combat conditions, something which indeed reduced endurance. Therefore I kept the same radius for the -3 & -4 models. - The Canadians seldom used their wing tip tanks. I had a hard time to spot canadian F-2s with wing tip tanks when in actual service. The most likely explanation is that with the small canadian aircraft was too much to handle the take off of the approx. extra 1 ton of weight with the wingtips on the weak -3 model. If someone wants a tank-less RCN F-2, I can update the pack. However the final solution will be to add the tanks as loadouts. *** sQUADRONS [SquadronXXX] Name=VF73 DisplayName=VF-73 Jesters Nation=USN [SquadronXXX] Name=VF193 DisplayName=VF-193 Ghostriders Nation=USN [SquadronXXX] Name=VF870 DisplayName=VF-870 of Royal Canadian Navy Nation=CANADA Remember this is a freeware! 1 pointSome screenies from a gruelling 25 min. dogfight (spring of 1918, middle eastern terrain) using the environsys tweaks I'll roll into a ver. 9.5 of the FM pack (low scattered cloud in these shots, with slightly wider sky and taller cirrus cloud panels). Took a while to get rid of the Nieu24bis, with half of my elevator missing - the AI never fails to impress me in FE2. Also a couple of shots of an early 1915 encounter in the same theater - rare fuel fire on the MS type G (25hp) , and then a friendly pass with his engine out. Happy flying, Von S

1 pointSuperb detail! Even the trench rifles and mortars are accurate. I've always thought that FE/FE2 could use more strafing targets. Stuff like vehicles, guns, horses, grunts, etc marching through a sea of mud.
