Rockwell F-31K Mustang II - Grupo 6 de Caza, Fuerza Aerea Argentina, 2018 The X-31 experimental jet fighter was designed and built by Rockwell and Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm as part of a joint US/Germany 'Enhanced Fighter Maneuverability' programme to test thrust vectoring technology in both pitch and yaw allied to an advanced flight control system to provide controlled flight at very high angles of attack. Whilst being a radical new design the X-31 used a wide variety of parts from previous production aircraft including the F/A-18 Hornet front fuselage (including the cockpit, ejection seat and canopy) and the F-16 Fighting Falcon's landing gear plus the Cessna Citation's main landing gear wheels and brakes. This dramatically reduced the development time and risk by using flight-qualified components and enabled the first of just two X-31's to take to the air on October 11th, 1990 and over 500 test flights were flown between 1990 and 1995. With a huge fall in defence spending from the 'peace dividend' Rockwell began to look at ways of using many of the X-31's technologies in a low-cost fighter aircraft and in 1992 they proposed an 'F-31' version powered by a non-afterburning version of the General Electric F110 turbofan rated at 16,000lbs dry thrust. Deleting the thrust-vectoring and afterburner reduced a considerable amount of weight from the rear fuselage and Rockwell calculated that the lack of an afterburner would give the small and light F-31 such an increase in range that most missions could be flown without external drop tanks. On the home-front Rockwell proposed an A-31 version to supplement and eventually replace the A-10 Thunderbolt claiming that the A-31 would be about one-half of the cost of the proposed A-16 Fighting Falcon. But Rockwell's main efforts were on the export market and especially the Gulf States and Saudi Arabia and it was interest from the latter and also South Korea that encouraged Rockell to proceed with development at the end of 1993. Marketing their new fighter as the 'F-31 Mustang II' orders were placed by South Korea (72) and Saudi Arabia (59) followed by a home order of 30 aircraft for the US Navy to supplement their F-5E Aggressor Force and then 100 A-31C's for the US Air Force. In December 1998, the Royal New Zealand Air Force became the third export customer when they placed an order for 34 F-31K's to replace it's ageing Skyhawks but the acquisition was cancelled by the new Labour government in March 2000 in a controversial move as "an air combat force is not a priority in the current benign security environment". With most of the F-31K's having already rolled off the production line Rockwell did not take the cancellation lightly and, faced with huge cancellation charges, the New Zealand government breathed a sigh of relief when the Argentinian Government, led by Fernando de la Rúa, negotiated the purchase of the 34 F-34K's for the Fuerza Aerea Argentina at a reduced price. Entering service with Grupo 6 de Caza in August 2001 the F-31K's continue in service based at the Tandil Military Air Base in the Buenos Aires Province. Skin Credit: Gepard

This is a replacement for the T-45A Goshawk skins that have been around for nearly 10 years. I felt they needed to be updates. These skins have flaws that are inherent to this aircraft, so I apologize. Other than that, I hope you guys enjoy... Regard, Pappy Any questions or concerns can be sent to me here...

This package presents the Su-30M2, MK2, MKK modifications produced on KnAAZ Avia Plant. Su-30 are produced at two different factories. Aircraft are distinguished by avionics, seams, camouflage and appearance. On "IRKUT" (Irkutsk Aviation Plant) they rebuild old Su-27 UB\PU to Su-30KN and KM (both without canards) and build new Su-30SM with canards. In this pack there are Su-30s produced at KnAAZ aircraft plant based in Komsomolsk on Amur (all without canards). This is the conversion of the old SF1 model in SF2 + new skins ============ Installation: Extract file "Su-30_by_KnAAZ_Avia_Plant_(Part_II).7z" at any temp directory you want. Move the files to the appropriate locations in your mod folder as usual. DO NOT FORGET about the DECALS folder! It is very important! There are some fixes for the UV grid of the original model. Without it some part of camouflages be distorted cuz of model's UV issue. ============ NEW SKINS: Sukhoy Anniversary Skin Summer 2011 standard Russia camouflage Vietnam Green - it is old my skin moved to correct pack Vietnam Blue China Gray 2007 First Prototype skin First Prototype 2005 year Second Prototype 2 Aggressors skins -that are old my skins moved to correct pack Third Prototype Part 1 is here =========== Skins was drawn based on outlines by Mariusz Wojciechowski and real photoes. http://www.mariwoj.pl/ =========== I used these files: I took some skin details like engines, nozzles, marks, from this skin: SF2 SU-30SM Flanker Pack Redux 2016 Version 0.99 https://combatace.com/files/file/16250-sf2-su-30sm-flanker-pack-redux-2016/ By viper63a (approved by Wrench, August 16, 2016) Model: Su-30MK2 for SF1 / WoE Version 1.0 https://combatace.com/files/file/14306-su-30mk2-for-sf1-woe/ By ivanbasic (approved by Erik, October 4, 2013) Decals and Weapons: NATO Fighters 4+ https://combatace.com/files/file/12230-nato-fighters-4-part-5/ By Dave (approved by Dave, January 20, 2016) Cockpit: Modern Flanker Cockpit 1.0 https://combatace.com/files/file/15045-modern-flanker-cockpit/ By YEYEYE (approved by Dave, October 7, 2014) And Skins by me, bazillius Best regards.

This pack contains the F-15E and up from FastCargo's F-15 Super Pack and more. Nearly every part of the original pack has been upgraded. All new jpeg skins, decals, screens, flight model, loadout, pilots, (some) weapons, and cockpit...etc...etc...etc. Because all these differences, there are special instructions to install this mod over the original F-15 Super Pack. But it will be well worth it. Different emitters for all 3 types of engines used PW-F100-220/229 and GE-F110-129, different pilots for each country represented, different repurposed sound files! Tens of loadouts to choose from (read the *LOADOUT.INI file, there are instructions there to set\change your default loadout for a mission profile), multi-tude of decals - you can choose different planes in the same squadron and the decals can be different. There are nearly 20 authentically serialize jets for each squadron. So, you can fly up to 8 different planes within one squadron and they can all be unique! Including Squadron, Wing and AF commander planes! Illuminated cockpit...I can go on and on and on! Spudknocker, Fanatic Modder and I (with some help from new friends - Raven and JAT - THANKS!) loaded up this mod with everything we could think of and was in our skill sets to implement....Enjoy!
