Cheers guys what started as a few Afganistan War skins has spiraled into a full update! Crusader had one in the works a while ago and has sent me some some great stuff to add in starting with some fixes to the cockpit and hud. Additional changes: - Wing spoilers fully functioning on the 3D models of the aircraft! Turns out they were always there but just not used. - Changes to Iraqi skins and decal. - Added Egyptian and Libyan skins. - Earlier style AA and AG gun piper added to the M, MF and ML. - No KDS-23 on the MLA -YawDamper value added for all MiG-23 with the M, MF and MS having a lower value as the more advanced AOA limiting computer was installed from the ML onwards. - Additional MiG-23M (85) variant created. This is a few squadrons of the Soviet M model that had its IFF upgraded some time between 1978 and the early 90's (Same nose IFF antenna as the MLD and P (82). - All Mig-23 do have an ACM/ boresight radar mode but it is set straight ahead along the gunsight and does not move/ scan. The MLD and P (82) have an ACM/ boresight mode that scans vertically like the F-16 or F-15 etc Svetlin has also sent me a single APU-60-1 missile rail for the AA-8/B that I haven't even had a chance to check out yet.

    - All skins updated with cockpit textures and various other minor details. - KM-1 Ejection seats added. Grey on most but black for Mig-MLDe, MiG-23P and MiG-23P (82) - Grey undersides on Soviet Camouflage skins changed from grey to blue/ grey. Additional dark green added in to the Soviet camouflage of later model MiG-23's. - Skins added for Iraqi, Syria (Late), Polish camouflage, Soviet desert (in Afghanistan) and Soviet Afghanistan veterans. - Corrections to decal size and/ or positions on various skins. - Additional MiG-23MLDe variant created. This is the Syrian specific export model of the MLD which did not have the IFF or aerodynamic enhancements (vortex generators) of the Soviet MLD and had a slightly downgraded radar. Syrian made countermeasure dispensers installed on either side of the tail fin. - Additional MiG-23P (82) variant created. This is the Soviet P model that was upgraded to the same standard as the MLD but without the aerodynamic enhancements. - Made flyable with the MLD cockpit available here at CA by Stary. Cockpit modified for the M and MF aircraft to have the AOA warning light removed and an earlier style gun piper. - Leading edge flaps fixed to now automatically deploy during manoeuvring for the MLD, MLDe and P (82) - Radar data and performance is corrected from the S-23MLA radar to the S-23MLA-II radar for the MLD. - Only MLD with S-23MLA radar has an ACM mode. All other MiG-23 radars have only Search or Track modes. - KDS-23 countermeasure dispenser installed in the centreline drop tank pylon of the MLA, MLD, MLDe and P (82). This is a 12 shot chaff/ flare countermeasure dispenser that could be used once the drop tank had been jettisoned. - Primary and secondary roles expanded to reflect the evolution of the MLD version of the MiG-23 into a more multi role fighter platform. - Use of Kh-25M air-to-surface missile and datalink pod added to all versions. - Loadouts enhanced and corrected. Some Afghanistan specific ones added. - Fuselage and wing AA-8 positions corrected. - Removed ECM jammer from the MLD. - Grey, blue/ grey and camouflage centerline drop tank options. MiG-23M MiG-23MF MiG-23MLA MiG-23MLD MiG-23MLDe MiG-23P (82)

Also it turns out that most if not all the exported and Warsaw pack ML aircraft were actually MLA models, this is an error in most publications, model kits and flight sims alike and has only been corrected in recent publications. The ML was operated by the Soviet airforce and by the time the export models were being built the production line had switched to the MLA. So I will be moving most ML skins over to the MLA and adjusting the userlist.ini as appropriate. This will not affect any stock TW campaigns.

@dtmdragon I remember when I had asked you about something like this, a full fledged update for all TW's MiG-23s. Thank you so much for your work on this! BTW, any chance to see Indian MiG-23s as well? We have the India-Pak scenario, which I look forward to update with a terrain rebuilt from scratch.

The Navy is testing all crew aboard the US aircraft carrier Teddy Roosevelt. Tests have been done on 94% of the 4800 crew onboard. They have found approximately 600 infected sailors aboard and 60% of those sailors (400 sailors) have no symptoms all. Read the Reuters article below. “With regard to COVID-19, we’re learning that stealth in the form of asymptomatic transmission is this adversary’s secret power,” said Rear Admiral Bruce Gillingham, surgeon general of the Navy. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-usa-military-sympt/coronavirus-clue-most-cases-aboard-u-s-aircraft-carrier-are-symptom-free-idUSKCN21Y2GB

I guess this is the article you are talking about: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/global-opinions/how-did-covid-19-begin-its-initial-origin-story-is-shaky/2020/04/02/1475d488-7521-11ea-87da-77a8136c1a6d_story.html There's no certainty at the moment, but it is plausible indeed. It's not that the scientists created a new virus, most likely they were infected while collecting those bat coronaviruses without proper protective equipment. Analysis from all over the world point to the fact the virus is not man made. The article claims the Wuhan research laboratory was working at Biosafety Level 2, which is not enough in the case of contagious viruses. So, if this is the case, the origin of the virus lies in the wrong safety protocols being applied at a research lab. Coronaviruses were and are being studied all over the world, even before the outbreak happened. For instance, weeks ago an Israeli scientist was invited to an Italian talkshow, and discussed about his studies on coronaviruses. Without a doubt, the Chinese response to the outbreak was sloppy to say the least. And the WHO somewhat covered up how things were handled there. Everyone, literally everyone, underestimated the potential of this virus.

Since my older tiles for the London City Port not really fit into the terrain tileset i decided to restart and make them new. The screenshots show the WIP. The runway is still to overpaint and some other things are to do, but i think, i'm on a better way.
